Laser-generated nanoparticles to change physical properties of solids, liquids and gases
Torrisi, Alfio ; Cutroneo, Mariapompea ; Ceccio, Giovanni ; Cannavó, Antonino ; Horák, Pavel ; Torrisi, L. ; Vacík, Jiří
Synthesis of nanoparticles was possible employing a Nd: YAG pulsed laser at fundamental harmonic. The production of nanoparticles in water depends mainly on the laser parameters (pulse duration, energy, wavelength), the irradiation conditions (focal spot, repetition rate, irradiation time) and the medium where the ablation occurs (solid target, water, solution concentration). The nanoparticles can be introduced in solids, liquids or gases to change many physical characteristics. The optical properties of polymers and solutions, the wetting ability of liquids, the electron density of laser-generated plasma, represent some examples that can be controlled by the concentration of metallic nanoparticles (Au, Ag, Ti, Cu). Some bio-medical applications will be presented and discussed.
Shooting Sport Simulation Device
Poloch, Martin
The goal of this work is to design, build and test a shooting sport simulation system. The first part of this system is a module that can be put into a variety of shooting weapons and transform them to a laser gun. The module uses a shock sensing system, so there is no need to mechanically disassemble the gun. The second part is a target device that can sense incoming laser beams with LEDs. The final hardware part is a control board which can connect multiple targets and weapons through a wireless module nRF24L01+ into one system and therefore simulate advanced shooting modes. Additionally it has a built in Wi-Fi module ESP8266 which can provide shooters a website with detailed results and statistics of their shooting in a graphically pleasing way. Output of this project should be a market competitive product so the design is focused on the ability to be manufactured on automated machines.
Module for the detection of light elements in ferrous alloys by the Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy technique
Teorie absorpce ultrafialového záření vzduchem a optickými skly byla důkladně studována a shrnuta k získání potřebného teoretického základu k vývoji modulu.

Analysis of the principle of exciting the turbine wheel of the magnet in various modes
Voronova, Evgeniya ; Maturkanič, Dušan ; Procházka, Pavel ; Hodboď, Robert
The report analyzes the principle of excitation of turbine wheel vibration by means of magnets switched on in harmonics, pulse, pulse-synchronous on IRC (encoder) and pulse-synchronous on IRC (encoder) and strain gauge. Furthermore, the effect of the pulse width and axial magnet excitation frequency on the turbine wheel model blade vibrations was verified.\n

The influence of optoeletronic gunsight on shooting accuracy and precision
Bílek, Zdeněk ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Brych, Jan (referee)
Title: The influence of optoeletronic gunsight on shooting accuracy and precision Objectives: The primary aim of this diploma thesis is to statistically appraise the influence of optoelectronic gunsight on shootihg accuracy and precision. The sighting device was mounted on Heckler & Koch MP5 machine gun during both static and dynamic shooting practices. Methods: Shooting targets evaluation was based on the numerical method of detecting the mean point of impact. Statistical data processing was based on the method of comparison of means. To determine statistical significance we used dispersion analysis by means od ANOVA program. Results: We ascertained that the employment of optoelectronic gunsight has a statisticaly significant effect on static shootig accuracy. From a shooting precision point of view, there was great statistical significance of the employment of optoelectronic gunsight during dynamic shooting practices, namely on the vertical "y" - axis. Keywords: gunsight, shooting, assault rifle, target, laser
The use of high intensity laser in physiotherapy
Kremlíková, Lucie ; Kymplová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Jeníček, Jakub (referee)
Title: The Use of High Intensity Laser in Physiotherapy Abstract: This bachelor thesis is concerned to the use of a high performance laser in the physiotherapy, especially at patiens with painful or functional disorders of shoulder joint. The thesis is dividend into the oretical and practical part. The aim of this work is to raise the awareness of the use of a high performance laser in the physiotherapy and by there a search compare the results of the therapy with laser and without at selected patients. The theoretical part is devoted to laser problematic. This part provils informations about basic laser principals and effects, indication and contraindication, but also presents different types of lasers and their use. The second part deals with shoulder joint, its anatomy, kinesiology and phatology. The practical part is based on research of the effects of high performance laser therapy at patiens with painful or functional disorders of the shoulder. The effect of therapy is judged in terms of pain and active range of movements. Patients are divided in two groups (target and control group). The results of research provide the informations on the positive effect of the therapy by using a high performance laser at monitored patients. The discussion of the work focuses on the evaluation of the effect of the...
