Modelica in physiological modelling. Models with spatially distributed parameters, Authorin educational simulators.

Mathematical models in physiology are useful to formulate and verify hypotheses, to make predictions, to estimate hidden parameters and in education. This thesis deals with modelling in physiology using the ​Modelica language. New methods for model implementation and simulator production were developed. Modelica is an ​open standard equation-based object-oriented language for modelling complex systems. It is highly convenient in physiology modelling due to its ability to describe extensive models in a lucid hierarchical way. The models are described by algebraic, ordinary differential and discrete equations. Partial differential equations are not supported by the Modelica standard yet. The thesis focuses on two main topics: 1) modelling of systems described by partial differential equations in Modelica 2) production of web-based e-learning simulators driven by models implemented in Modelica. A Modelica language extension called PDEModelica1 for 1-dimensional partial differential equations was designed (based on a previous extension). The OpenModelica modelling tool was extended to support PDEModelica1 using the method of lines. Development and evaluation of computer application for teaching and determination of natural species
Available e-learning applications for teaching and recognition of natural species and testing the level of achieved knowledge were evaluated in this thesis. Problems and limits of these tools were identified. Based on the evaluation the unique tool for test developing was designed which can be used for self-learning as well as for testing within the school program. The outcome of the theses is a new application "Poznávačka". New application allows teachers to create lists of species which are available as a study material for their students.
Creating e-learning materials for Automatization course

The thesis deals with the creation of e-learning materials for the subject Automation. The theoretical part briefly deals with the definition of e-learning as a modern form of teaching and further provides an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning. The theoretical part also contains a summary of systems, tools, methods and technologies that enter e-learning. The practical part of the thesis deals with selected methods of e-learning and also contains materials e-learning materials created directly for the subject Automation. The practical part includes 10 presentations, which can be used for teaching the subject Automation and at the same time a description of creating the presentations.

This master thesis deals with design and implementation of a web portal for remote mentoring. It analyzes the issues of e-learning, coaching and mentoring and then defines the target audience and its needs. At the same time, it deals with technological startups and describes the process of building the portal in the context of the startup. The practical part focuses on the development itself, project management and project sustainability.
Use of e-learning materials for the theme Functions for the 9th grade

The aim of the diploma theses is to find out if the study in a form of an e-learning course is more beneficial to the student than the isolated study text. To find the benefits, the research among nineth grade students from two different schools was done. A study text called Functions for the nineth grade was prepared together with a collection of solved and unsolved problems. Based on this text an e-learning course called Functions for the nineth grade was prepared. The e-learning course was placed on the website linked For the communication of the students and the tutor of the course, for the completion of the compulsory tasks and for the carrying out the study agenda, the modul iTřída on the web link was selected. Both forms of the study materials were tested by the nineth grade students on two selected schools. The efectivity of both of the forms was tested by the written test. The evaluation of the both forms was done by the electronic questionnaire. According to the results of the written test, the students which used the isolated study text were more succesful than the students studying the e-learning course. Digital tools for pupils' home preparation for CLIL classes in maths

The purpose of this thesis is to give account of experimental teaching of a CLIL, namely in combination with blended learning at the second level of elementary school. The starting point was a reflection on how to relieve the overloaded of schedule of lessons devoted to non-linguistic subjects, in which many teachers now struggle with time to manage to teach all that is needed. To answer the question as to how pupils of an eighth grade of primary school, would respond to a new type of lessons in an unusual form, I tried to perform a teaching experiment in which the pupils went through a hard CLIL programme driven by blended learning. The available resources on this issue have been elaborated in the form of the theoretical part, which forms the first part of this work. It deals with CLIL, e- lerarning and blended learning. The second part consists of the preparation of the research and the third part is devoted to its implementation. The research consisted of three hours of full-time teaching enriched by blocks of e-learning support. Digital Technologies in Education of Human Biology

Digital technologies have been present in the educational environment in the Czech Republic and other countries for many years. Not only are they becoming a relatively frequent means of making education more attractive, but they also have a great potential for improving methods of illustration in areas difficult to visualize, such as human biology and anatomy. The presented thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes available specialized literature covering the bases for utilizing digital technologies in the practice of teaching; maps out the process of implementing digital technologies into schools in the Czech Republic; and last but not least, describes key elements and methods of teaching with the help of digital technologies. The practical part introduces the results of a survey which took the form of a mixed methods research among elementary and high school pupils, teachers, and students of Teaching Preparation programs. In the final discussion, the amassed data are compared to some of the relevant past surveys conducted by various subjects. In addition, the practical part also includes model activities for using digital technologies in human biology teaching; a description of their pilotage; and a critical reflection on the process. Application of e-learning in teaching and testing Spanish
This diploma thesis is focused on description of methods for creating educational text and designing examples of spanish learning texts. In theoretical part I am describing The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and its utilisation in process of creating educational texts. Beside that I am analyzing educational methods for language learning and influence of new technologies in educational process. At the end of the theoretical part I am describing main methods which are used for creating educational texts. Practical part is focused on creating certain examples of my own designed educational texts based on my conclusions from the teoretical part and my own experiences. My designed educational texts contain all of the important parts and go with my personal comments that explains my decisions. Designated educational text could be used as an example for creating another similar texts, because it contains all of the essencials.
The Teaching Materials for the Subject Computer Graphics

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the creation of a teaching materials for computer graphics. Teaching aids will be provided to students and teachers of the field of study Packaging Technology (Packaging and Graphic Design) at the Higher Technical School of Packaging Technology and secondary school in Steti. The thesis content two parts. The theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the areas of computer graphics that are typical for the given field of study. Following is the curriculum curriculum analysis, the curriculum evaluation, and suggested recommendations for possible curriculum enhancements. The practical part aims to create a set of learning support in the LMS Moodle environment. The mission of the practical part is to increase students' level of readiness in computer graphics.
The use of e-learning in the education of pedagogical-psychological topic

Abstract_EN The thesis focuses on the use of e-learning in teaching of Pedagogy1 at higher education. It points to effects and changes that come with the gradual development and integration of ICT into the educational process and everyday life. Presents opportunities to develop teachers' knowledge of e-learning, based on the TPACK framework. In the empirical part, we present the reader usable taxonomy of Pedagogy instructional planning (learning) activities types. For every activity types we attach to the concept of e-learning solutions.
