Factors affecting demand for passenger cars in the Czech Republic, focusing on alternative fuel vehicles

The automotive industry is one of the key industries in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to identify and analyse the factors of demand for alternative fuel vehicles in the country. Initial presumptions are based on the existing economic theory as well as on the author´s own speculation. The first part is devoted to the demand - a description of the general characteristics and influencing factors. The second part focuses on the specifics of the demand in the passenger car market and analysis of the factors influencing the demand for cars in the Czech Republic. The statistical methods will be used to analyse and evaluate these factors. The analysed data represent time series data which are adjusted to the thesis needs by means of proper methods. The conclusion evaluates the effects of the factors on the demand.
Real Estate Market Development in a Given Location

This bachelor thesis analyses the development of the real estate market in the certain area. In the theoretical part it explains the basic terms of real estate market, the most used laws and real estate rules and identifies the particular kinds of estate. Furthermore it defines the factors which affect the real estate market, the process how the price of real estate is made. In the practical part of this bachelor thesis is done analysis of the real estate market in the area of Sereď and Galanta. The analyses is made on the segment of apartments. In the next part the development of real estate price is compared between the two given areas, the development of real estate price in the region in which the two towns lay is compared to the development of real estate prices in Sereď. The last part belongs to the prediction of the real estate price in 2018.

The practical part analyzes the real estate market in Brno-city district at the year of 2017/2018 in detail and here is evaluated the price of the construction including the investments.

Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Usual Price of Flats in the District of Vsetín

The thesis is focused on comparing the price of housing units in Vsetín region using different valuation methods. Theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to valuation, individual methods of valuation and description of the region. Practical part is focused on valuation of selected housing unit’s individual methods of valuation, which are the method of valid price provision, the direct comparison method and the yield method for determining the usual price. All these methods will be evaluated and compared in the conclusion of the thesis.

In this diploma work I have attempted to solve problems about managing manufactoring resources in company used in servicing electro-technical production. Problems about manufactoring resources appeared in a time due to a loss of a significant customer when manufactoring resources have became disfunctional. Manufactoring resources reduction policy has been applied in various ways which have led to a significant reduction of a company’s stock.
The effect of taxation of state subsidies on the demand for building savings
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the effect of the amount of state subsidies on the demand for building savings as represented by the number of new contracts for building savings accounts. Specifically tested was the hypothesis that the 50% taxation rate of state subsidies in 2010 would negatively affect the volume of new contracts for building savings accounts in the following period. The analysis of this thesis is based on the monthly data of one representative Czech building savings bank and on quarterly data from across the Czech Republic, both in the period 2000 - 2012. Using a method of time series decomposition with following extrapolation, a positive effect of the amount of state subsidies on the number of new contracts was found. Furthermore, despite only being in effect for a short time, the 50% taxation rate was found to have a negative effect on the demand for building savings based on the quarterly data from across the Czech Republic. This negative effect cannot be verified according to the monthly data of one representative Czech building savings bank.

The thesis describes the specific activities leading to the development project in all its phases, presents the project risks and defines the security and specifications of the development projects. The analysis is focused on commercial office projects and it is formed in three successive levels, at the level of the Czech Republic, at the level of the analysis of the Prague and Brno markets, to a specific analysis of the selected project.
