Michaela Zahrádka Köhlerová Opponent: Title of bachelor thesis: Physiotherapy in patients with bipolar disorder Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with what kind of role has physiotherapy in patients with psychiatric illness, specifically in patients with bipolar afective disorder. The aim of this work is to collect information about the disease in all its aspects and to describe how these patients are treated from the perspective of a physiotherapist. The first part of the thesis describes origins and symptomatology of bipolar afective disorder, differential diagnosis, comorbidities, pharmacological treatment and psychotherapy. The second part of the thesis deals with physiotherapy approaches and methods, indications and contraindications. In the form of studies, we will process various studies dealing with physiotherapy methods adequate for treating these patients and what influence they have on each of the phase of the desease. Analisis of physical activities of children at primary school in South Bohemia

This thesis deals with the analysis of physical activities of children at primary school in South Bohemia. It finds out the conditions for teaching physical education, content to teaching, find out if pupils take the acquired knowledge or skill from school and evaluate popularity of pupils to exercise physical activity in their leisure. This finding was done in form three questionnaires for directors of primary school, teachers of physical education and their pupils. The results of this thesis could help to all future and present teachers of physical education.
An overview of the programmes supporting physical activity of children at elementary schools in the Czech Republic

Title: An overview of the programmes supporting physical activity of children at elementary schools in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to sum up most of the programmes that strive to improve physical activity of children at elementary schools in the Czech Republic. This overview should help the scholarly public to get to know which programmes are there for the support of physical activity and their subsequent interest in them. Methods: In the first part, the programmes which meet the set requirements, were looked up. Following sources were used to find these programmes: the Internet, websites of the organisations engaged in children sport education, addressing coordinators of the programmes etc. The data in the next part of the thesis were acquired using a form of which participants were the employees connected to those stated programmes. In total, 329 schools were approached and ca. 32 % of questionnaires were returned. Results: Overall, eight programmes were found and seven of them actively engaged in improving physical activity of the children at elementary schools in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to bring a comprehensive overview of the problems of alcoholism, its impact on the patient's health, obstacles for the therapist and used physiotherapeutic approaches. The introductory, theoretical part describes the origin of alcohol dependence and its composition, incidence and abuse. It deals with the effects of alcohol on the human body and comorbid disease. It also summarizes the treatment of alcoholism of without the use of physiotherapy. A special part of this work is a form of research. It describes and summarizes current knowledge in the use of physiotherapy in patients with dependence. SELECTED NUTRIENTS IN ETIOLOGY, PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF OBESITY The 21st century pandemic of obesity is given by to the obesitogenic environment that helps to develop a positive energy balance, where the energy intake of an individual chronically exceeds his energy need, ie energy expenditure. There is an increase in body weight by increased or abnormal body fat accumulation in the body. Preventing the development of obesity is aimed at achieving energy balance, in the case of existing overweight or obesity, the treatment lies in inducing and maintaining a negative energy balance for some time, ie stimulating energy expenditure and reducing energy intake. Selected diet determines not only energy intake, but its individual nutrients can also partially affect energy expenditure and fat tissue physiology. The aim of this work is to describe and experimentally verify some nutrients that could help in weight reduction and physiological function of adipose tissue. Based on the literature data, 19 active substances or mixtures were considered. A mixture of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (ω-3 PUFA), eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, in a daily dose of 0.6 g, in the form of fish oil in a certified food supplement was chosen as the most suitable for the experiment. Name of the thesis: Testing of motor performance of high school students in Kadaň and their relationship to physical activities Objectives of the thesis: The objective of the thesis is to analyze the level of basic motor performance of high school students in Kadaň and find out their relationship to physical activities Method: This thesis is processed in the form of empirical quantitative research. The research is realized in the type of environment where is possible to eliminate influences of external environment, that is in a gym. The research subject were students of two chosen high schools, both male and female. Of the total number of 232 students, 143 were female and 89 male aged 15-17. To find out the level of motor performance of the students the test battery UNIFITTEST (6-60) was used. To gather information about the relationship of students to physical activities and competitiveness, a short poll of eight items was made. These were focused on the gathering of basic anamnestic data like name and surname, date of birth, the name of the school they attend to and grade in physical education. Motor competencies of preschool children

Name: Motor skills of preschool children Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the difference of motor skills of preschool children among children regularly attending free time courses focused on physical activities, led by experienced lecturers, and children in different kindergartens who do not attend these courses or rarely attend them. Methods: 67 children aged 4-6 years participated in the research. These were 9 children from the municipal kindergarten, 30 children from the village kindergarten and 28 children from the sports agency (club). Children were evaluated once by using the following tests: beep test, 4x5 m run, long jump, ball throw with right and left hand, sit and reach test. Results: The results confirm the assumption that children who participate in physical activity in their free time as well as in the kindergarten have better results than children who do physical education only in kindergarten. At the municipal nursery school, the children at the best level managed only the right- and left-hand throw. Statistically significant differences between groups occurred in the 4 x 5 m run, long jump and beep test, most often in favor of the sports agency. Title: Contemporary youth lifestyle and its impact on health Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to describe and evaluate the current lifestyle of young people with a focus on the level of physical activity, eating habits, spending leisure time and health of young people and to compare the obtained data with the results of international research conducted in the Czech Republic in 2018 as part of the HEALTH BEHAVIOUR IN SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN. Methods: The questioning method was used to obtain information about the current lifestyle of young people and its effect on their health. 334 respondents participated in the survey, including 142 boys and 192 girls attending the Bratří Jandusů Primary School, the Hotel and Gastronomy Secondary School, the Media Graphic Secondary School and the Secondary Vocational School for European Union Administration in Prague. Results: The aim of the thesis was to find out what the current lifestyle of young people is and how it affects their health. According to the information obtained in my research, the respondents' current lifestyle is characterized mainly by unsuitable eating habits, insufficient physical activity and excessive spending of leisure time by sedentary (inactive) behavior. The level of sporting physical activity during the week in junor categories of football players

11 Abstract Title: The level of sporting physical activity during the week in junior categories of foot- ball players Purpose: The purpose of the research was to determine the level of sporting physical activity in the weekly routine of the teams AC Sparta Prague U-14 and FC Tempo U-15. Another purpose was to evaluate the level of the sporting physical activity in relation to selected health recommendations on physical activity. Methods: In this bachelor's thesis an online system Indares was used for the acquirement data of respondents. Acquirement of the data I also used the method of online questionings. Football players participated in the research of AC Sparta Prague U-14 (n = 13; average age = 13, 7; standard deviation = 0, 6) and football players of the team FC Tempo Praha U-15 (n=18; average age=14,7; standard deviation=0,5). Results: Sporting physical activity with the greatest number of minutes was football. Participants spend 78, 8 % of the sporting physical activities time during the week. They spend 21, 2 % of the time doing other sports. Players of AC Sparta Prague reached higher average daily value of the time spent with sporting physical activities in weekly mode than players of FC Tempo Pra- gue.
