High-performance inverted index database
Javorský, Dávid ; Kratochvíl, Miroslav (advisor) ; Peška, Ladislav (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to implement an inverted-index database software that provides improvements in handling raw non-textual data, which is beneficial for several areas of research. The main internal structures of the library are designed to be cache-oblivious, also aiming to reduce the size of stored data. This thesis includes an overview of common inverted index implementation methods and describes retaled structures in a suitable cache-based model. This resulted in improvements of compression ratio, and performance similar to currently available highly optimized databases. The benchmark conducted on cheminformatic data has shown that the resulting software is applicable as an immediate, efficient replacement of the storage back-ends of specialized molecule databases.

Processing Optimization of a Small Brewery
Zilvar, Michal ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the section of information technology, specifically on the processing optimization by an information system design for a microbrewery. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the study of the current situation, especially deep data analysis. The second part deals with designing the information system architecture based on the clients requirements. The third part then implements the previous point to the final product, which is extended by an automated program for evaluating the most suitable work actions. The conclusion is a validation and verification of the final produduct and suggesting possible extensions.
Homegrown Product Offering System
Doubek, Daniel ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design, implementation and testing of the information system which will be used to sell homemade products. It is intended primarily for smallholders and backyard keepers who are creating surpluses and would like to offer them. I focused especially on user-friendly design, but also on the system features and capabilities that make it easier to offer and sell these products. This system is implemented in PHP, framework Nette combined with MySQL, HTML with Bootstrap library and in JavaScript's library JQuery. As a part of this thesis I have created a user-friendly information system which meets the demands of users.

The first part of this thesis deals with an approach of designing and developing of application for IP geolocation using various geolocation databases. Methods of geographical location of network devices and amount of available data provided by chosen commercial and freely accessible geolocation databases are presented. The data are summarized with focus on methods of obtaining information about IP addresses from various databases. In the paper there are also presented ways used to develop the Python application and its parts, which can be easily reused in other programs. The command line program was created to demonstrate that all parts of the developed application work properly. The whole application is freely accesible under the conditions of the MIT license, published on GitHub (https://github.com/tomas-net/ip2geotools/) and in the Python package index PyPi. The second part of this thesis deals with the description of cyberthreats and the use of developed application to mass geolocation of IP addresses that are listed in chosen freely accessible lists as sources of email spam or cyberattacks. Geographical analysis of cyberattacks sources shows countries of origin. Results of analysis are presented in graphs and maps.
Company's Information System Analysis and Modifications Concept
