Kovaříková, Šárka ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (advisor) ; Kubíček, Tomáš (referee)
The bachelor thesis with the topic "Computer game - a peculiar literal creation?" consists of two parts. The first part introduces computer games in general and takes up the RPG genre, which is the closest one to literature due to its large content of text. It shows that for playing computer games similar abilities are needed as for reading books (mainly reading and information literacy). The term "flow-experience while playing computer games" is mentioned as well. Further, different scientific approaches, which can be applied to research about computer games can be found. The last topic of the first part describes fictional worlds, where different stories can take place. These stories are created by the different narrative categories - narrator and tale, time, space and characters. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to analysis and interpretation of the computer game "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion". This part verifies that for playing computer games it is necessary to know special types of literacy. Besides that, the game shows one type of fictional world, where all the narrative categories create a specific world with its own rules.

Lišková, Magdaléna ; Skopeček, Jan (advisor) ; Zeman, Martin (referee)
The bachelor thesis is about an evaluation of economic efficiency of prohibition of gambling in selected Czech cities since 2010. The theoretical part contains a definition of basic terms, a chapter about social costs and it also deals with a prohibition and the shadow economy. The practical part contains chapters about current legislation, about gambling market in the Czech Republic, next chapter is about methodology and at the end of this part there is the evaluation of economic efficiency. This chapter deals with an explanation why we can call the prohibition inefficient. It is also a resume of the thesis which is back up an argument of progress of total social costs and total revenues. The bachelor thesis, in spite of other Czech papers, works with presumption that the social costs are produced by pathological gamblers and it deals just with the original social costs. That is the reason why the thesis provides an original quantification of the social costs and new view on problems which are connected with regulation of gambling.

Words versus music: analysis of Samuel Beckett's "Words and Music", "Cascando" and "Rockbaby"
Fořtová, Linda ; Wallace, Clare (referee) ; Pilný, Ondřej (advisor)
It was my endeavour to demonstrate the manifold capacities of music with (or emanating from) a text. Indeed, I have proved that music is able to express what words cannot, and that there are many links between the verbal language and that of music, and thus both can be used in an interplay as it can be perceived in Cascando where Voice merges with Music in harmony and their arrangement constitutes a fugue; or both elements can challenge each other in an effort to ascertain which of them should be taken as superior to the other, as in Words and Music; or, even, that language freed of the customary syntactic chains is able to produce rhytmical patterns in accordance to what the words describe, as it is in Rockaby.

Romanian dramatic production after 1989
Fiedlerová, Elisabeta ; Valentová, Libuše (advisor) ; Vajdová, Libuša (referee)
The topic of this thesis is Romanian dramatic writing which appeared after 1989. For outlining the contemporary situation I have selected fifteen active dramatists: Lia Bugnar, Ştefan Caraman, Gianina Cărbunariu, Nicoleta Esinencu, Bogdan Georgescu, Mihai Ignat, Vera Ion, Maria Manolescu, Mihaela Michailov, Alina Nelega, Ştefan Peca, Ioan Peter, Gabriel Pintilei, Saviana Stănescu and Carmen Vioreanu. The mentioned authors belong to the Romanian "new wave" which partly found its inspiration in Romanian interwar avant-garde and in the works of British and Scandinavian dramatists of the first half of the nineties, known in Czech as cool drama and more significantly, new brutalism. The first authors who inspired from this current were Nelega, Stănescu and Caraman, the generation of post revolutionary dramatists, but the true brutalism was brought by the younger playwrights called "Generation 2000", especially by Peca Ştefan. To him, M. Ignat, A. Nelega, G. Carbunariu and L. Bugnar I dedicated in my thesis the largest space, I chose three plays of each author. The five mentioned authors are linked by the "theatre of social themes", which means dramas inspired from everyday Romanian reality with its stereotypes, prejudices and sense of humour which they use in their plays when observing or criticising the social...

It also wants to bring a summary of tracks for two players (both on one and on two instruments) as evidence of the interests of composers in this field, as well as some assistance for those wishing to those compositions. Thesis is divided into the following chapters: The first chapter gives a brief overview of the history of European music with respect to the period when at least sporadically appeared songs for two organists.
