Comparison of measured and simulated soil waters
Buchtele, Josef ; Buchtelová, Marie ; Tesař, Miroslav ; Šír, Miloslav
Measured values of soil water in localities with different vegetation were compared with the simulations of components of soil water using two rainfall-runoff models, SAC-SMA and BROOK. Simulated and measured volumes are different, time courses are similar.

Revitalization of River
Odehnalová, Zuzana ; Marková,, Jana (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of revitalization on the selected parts of the water course. Assessment of current condition and channel capacity and design of revitalization measures were made on a water course Veverka on the part of the river kilometer 0.650 - 1.000. This thesis first deals with the revitalization of historical aspect. When and why become to regulation of flows and what reasons leads to the effort to restore natural flows, the near-natural appearance. In the theoretical part is introduced an overview of revitalization measures with their brief description. The work includes the design of several revitalization measures: stabilization of slopes and bank scours fascine-gravel drum, wattle work and hand-placed rubble, removing dead wood, restoration of beaching and planting of vegetation accompaniment.

Dynamic properties of driving systems - composite method of analysis
Chalupa, M. ; Kratochvíl, Ctirad ; Heriban, P. ; Kotek, Vladimír
The article contains the description of technical measurement application of hydraulic pressure in hydraulic control system of planetary gearbox with three freedom degrees and practical example of the modelling of the influence different courses control pressures on the quantity of dynamic load of toothed wheel of planetary gearbox mechanism. It is used the dynamic properties of driving systems composite method of analysis for the modelling.

Evaluation of extreme discharges on the Jihlava River
Šoukalová, Adéla ; Pavlásek, Jiří (advisor) ; Jačka, Lukáš (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of extreme discharges at selected hydrometric stations on the Jihlava river between 1997 and 2015. The first part presents the results of the research, characteizing the factors influencing the origin and the course of floods and droughts, providing the description and classification of floods, and consequently giving a general description of the area. Furthermore, the present thesis scrutinizes the flow data acquired from the Morava River state enterprise, calculating individual characteristics. The result of the work is graphs of the flood situation and minimum flow situations, as well as tables providing the calculated characteristics.

Assessment of ecomorphological state and land use of Bylanka and Chotýšský brook flood plains
Slavíková, Pavlína ; Matoušková, Milada (referee) ; Lipský, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with geoecological assessment of water courses in the Bylanka catchment. The model area is situated in the Central Bohemia in the district Kolín. The catchment has a character of flat hilly country with the highest altitudes over 400 m. Most of the area is used as fields, forests cover only 9 % of the territory. Bylanka (8,4 km) and its longest affluent Chotýšský brook (10,6 km) were chosen as model water courses. The geoecological assessment is composed of three different methods. Ecomorfological assessment (Matoušková, 2003) was used for water courses evaluation. This method divides the stream and its surroundings into 4 ecomorfological zones: stream channel, vegetation belt, flood plain and water basin. The final ecomorfological state is better in the case of Bylanka because this stream is less anthropogenic transformed due to deeper erosive incision in the Permian-Carboniferous formations where human couldn't change the stream flow. Proliferation of bank and riparian vegetation is the second method of water courses and its surroundings evaluation. White willow (Salix alba), black poplar (Populus nigra), aspen tree (Populus tremula) and common alder (Alnus glutinosa) are the most frequently occurring wood species. Land use changes in the flood plain of Bylanka and...

The rainfall-runoff formation from a small catchment
Tesař, Miroslav ; Šír, Miloslav ; Syrovátka, Oldřich ; Bayer, T. ; Eliáš, Václav
We dedicate this contribution to the question how the relation of outflow of water from the soil into the transport collector determined by hydropedological methods bears with the discharge at the closure profile of a small forest catchment in the course of a vegetation season. In connection with this phenomena we investigate how much is such catchment homogenous. The monitored catchments Liz and Albrechtec are sloping, their geological subsoil is formed of impermeable bottom and they don't contain significant parts with ground water level. The soil cover is composed of several horizons with different aquifer properties, but the precipitated water largely infiltrates downwards the soil, so that a surface and subsurface runoff angle wise downhill to the watercourse is a very rare phenomena which appears at catastrophic rains only. The forest stand is represented by spruce. The both catchments are located in the elevation from 700 to 1000 m a.s.l. in the mountain region of Šumava.

Water Balance of the Soil Profile of the Headwater Region in the Krkonoše (Giant Mts)
Tesař, Miroslav ; Šír, Miloslav ; Syrovátka, Oldřich ; Dvořák, I.
The present article deals with the soil water regime of the mountainous localities in the Krkonoše (Giants) Mts. (mountainous meadow and dwarf pine forest). Both localities lie at the Labská louka region at the right bank of the Labe river at the elevation of about 1360 m a.s.l. Soil water regime is described by the time course of the soil water storage and outflow of water below the soil profile. The long-term water balance of the soil profile was composed in the form of the cumulative lines of precipitation, evapotranspiration and outflow of water below the soil profile to the substratum. Evapotranspiration was estimated with the help of the energy balance of the plant cover based on the global radiation input and air temperature close to the soil profile. Outflow of water below the soil profile to the substratum was determined using the tensiometric soil moisture monitoring. Soil water storage was recalculated with the use of retention curves from time series of tensiometric data sets. Rainfall totals were measured using the standard rain gauge.

Flood control on Botič river
Žák, Roman ; Roub, Radek (advisor) ; Reil, Adam (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of flood control implementation on the stream of the Botič. The thesis is divided into two parts. The teoretical part describes hydrological concepts, it defines and characterizes the area concerned and the water flow. It describes the origin, the course and the types of floods as well as the degrees of flood activities. The practical part concerns mainly the field survey which describes critical floods of the given stream valley in 2013. It presents the photos and describes the critical spots on the stream and suggests the sites and spots for surface finish and revitalization of the stream of the Botič.
