Analysis of strengthening intellectual property rights on selected economic indicators in selected world countries in years 2013 to 2015

This paper analyzes the relationship between the protection of intellectual property rights, and selected economic indicators between 2013 and 2015. The topic is the impact of intellectual property protection to economic growth and development. The theoretical part analyzes the different views on the issue of intellectual property, its forms of protection and analysis of international protection. It also defines GDP, GDP per capita, foreign direct investment and research and development expenditure. The practical part analyzes the correlation between these economic indicators and index of intellectual property rights, as an indicator of the strength of protection of intellectual property rights in selected countries. The work focuses on industrial property.

Strategy marketing in a chosen company

The aim of the thesis is to suggest a marketing strategy for a specific company, including the marketing plan in order to deal with possible changes resulting from the current situation. Strategic marketing process, which is based on the strategic management process consists of planning, implementation and control. On the basis of marketing situational analysis SWOT analysis was set up, marketing objectives were defined, strategies were formulated and a marketing plan was suggested. The implementation of a plan is a part of an implementation phase. Finally, the interim results were evaluated and possible changes were proposed, which should lead to the achievement of the planned outputs at the end of the period.

Improving labour productivity: How to determine standard time for performing specific tasks in the selected organization

This bachelor thesis focuses on the standard time needed for specific tasks in the selected organization, as well as on the appropriate methods for its determination. The findings serve as a basis for the formulation of measures which should be taken to improve labour productivity. The methods include the standardization of tasks, time study and computer-based data analysis (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). The theoretical part of the paper discusses the nature of job production, the methods appropriate for the calculation of standard production time and the ways to ensure efficient work and time management in the given factory. Apart from these, a complete description (history, facility layout, pre-production and production stages, machines and materials) of the selected organization is provided to serve as a background for the case study presented in the practical part. This includes the list of production tasks, production time tables and time standards along with materials necessary to facilitate production. The aim of the thesis is to help the organization improve its labour productivity and provide it with the algorithm which can be used to determine production time for similar orders.

Strategic management in chosen municipality

This work deals with strategic management in a village called Borkovice a with the options and suggestions to improve current situation. In introductury theoretical part is described problematice of municipality and its management, cooperation of municipality with subjects from public sector, financial budget of municipality, problematic of strategic management with the most used analyses for rating of level of strategic management. At the beggining of application section there is described the current status of strategic management in Borkovice. This part of work is focused on strategic analyses PESTE analysis, SWOT analysis and there are also included two activities contained with the subscription of current status in village survey, guided interview with Borkovice´s major. Third part of application section is focused on characteristics of chosen subjects (municipalities Řepeč and Malšice) and usage of benchmarking to compare situation between Řepeč, Borkovice, Malšice. After that follows point evaluation and definition of stong and weak factors of municipality Borkovice. The last part includes suggestions to change current status and eliminate weaknesses of municipality Borkovice.

Waste prevention and effective waste management in the selected company

From reason of protection environment, under the pressure of not only administrative, but economic measures too are firms trying to minimise the amount of nascent waste. Therefor is thesis focused to the analysis of waste economy, production and composition of waste in the company WITTE Nejdek in period since 2010 to 2015. There is evaluated dependence the amount of waste similar to communal on number of employees in the company WITTE Nejdek. Was done landscaping survey, what was focused to possibilities of reducing amount of wastes, to quality of recycling waste and to availability of collecting points in the company areal. To evalaution of current dondition of recycling wastes in the company WITTE Nejdek was done survey with employees, what was focused on awareness and knowledge employees about recycling waste in WITTE Nejdek. In these are proposed concrete measures, what could improve recycling of waste and make changes helping to reduce amount of waste. Proposals are suitable not only in terms of prevention to waste production, but economically too.

Renovation of waste water system in selected municipality

It is necessary to consider the increasing problem of the environment and better quality of people living. This thesis focuses on modernization of the system, which cleans the wastewater in municipality of Kout na Šumavě. These days it is taking place the second phase of building a sewerage system, that would be partly financed from European Union funds within the operation program of Environment. The thesis is split into two main parts.
The first theoretical part contents the basic theory, where are described the financial funds, the basic theory of the wastewater treatment and also the problematic of multi-criteria decision making and it´s methods. Mentioned methods relate to solving the problems of decision-making situations. The second practical part performs particulary solution of the given problem. In the practical part are used all identified findings and background materials for evaluation and for selection the right decision making situation. This would be solved by application of mathematical methods. All identified results, that used mathematical methods, are evaluated and suggested to the representatives of the municipality. They referred the results to the general contractor.

Staff Training & Development in Selected Company

The thesis Education and development of employees in a selected company is focused on analyzing the current situation of the education system and staff development at Komercni banka a .s.. The main objective is to evaluate the problems of the current situation, specifically propose recommendations for improvement based on the findings. For this purpose a survey, ie. Questionnaires and personal interviews with banking advisors, on the basis of which is determined by the bank employee satisfaction with the current process of education and development. Based on the results of the evaluation will be to design a solution for process improvement training and development banks. The result of this survey is used to design measures, which are the introduction of regular educational activities that serve to simplify negotiations and solving the problems of the employees. These measures will help to guide employees on the market, leading to greater competitiveness, while education employees, better communication supervisor and subordinate. In the final context serves to improve the state of education employees in the bank and a development plan.
