LANDOVÁ, Lenka
The bachelor thesis "Charity Projects of Organisations Providing Care for Children with Health Disability in the Region of South Bohemia" deals with those projects that were founded by non-profit organisations and that provide care for children with health disability in the Region of South Bohemia. The aim of this thesis is to chart the charity projects of above mentioned organisations and to find out what is a proper and effective way to create them and what methods and procedures are used by non-state, non-profit organisations. The first research inquiry refers to a successful implementation of these projects. The result will be not only a realisation what kind of projetcs were created by the above mentioned organisations but also what is important for an organisation itself. Within the bounds of the second research inquiry I find out wheather there is an optimal procedure for the implementation of the charity projects of non-state, non-profit organisations. A qualitative method was used for a research part of this thesis. I used a method of a half-structured interview, a technique of a personal interview. A research group was selected for bringing the research into practice, which includes nine organisations seleceted from non-state, non-profit organisations providing a care for health disabled children in the Region of South Bohemia. It is more difficult for non-state, non-profit organisations it this field to obtain enough finances for providing services and for obtaining necessary aids than for state non-profit organisations because of different ways of fundraising . A non-state, non-profit organisation has several possibilities how to obtain necessary material and non-material sources. There are charity projects that offer means of selfless help; provided they are successful, they help the organisation to obtain necessary sources. It emerged from the research that it was very important for non-state, non-profit organisations to get a multi-source fundraising and supporters of their projects, mainly donors and sponsors, to obtain available care for children with heath disability. On the basis of the research, it is possible to state that non-state, non-profit organisations providing care for children with health disability, implemented many successful projects. The results of this thesis can be used in the way of an informative material for setting a complete view of a solution of the problems of the above mentioned organisations projects.

Nursing care in trauma centras in the Czech Republic
POLANOVÁ, Alena
Abstract The thesis deals with the issues of nursing care in trauma centres in the Czech Republic. Injuries requiring complex and multidisciplinary treatment apart from surgery therapy are still more frequent nowadays. This is why trauma centres have been established in the Czech Republic. Their establishment increases demands for caring staff of non-physician fields. These increasing demands are of mental and physical character and of course demands for further education. The aim of the thesis was to find what opportunities nurses of trauma centres have in the field of further education, what are their biggest problems and how they cope with mental and physical stress in their work. The following hypotheses were set upon qualitative research in the form of unstructured interviews with nurses of trauma centres. Hypothesis 1: Nurses working in trauma centres prefer specialization education to tertiary education. Hypothesis 2: Nurses working in trauma centres cooperate with nurses from other clinical branches on provision of nursing care. Hypothesis 3: Nurses working in trauma centres get education not only in traumatology, but also in further clinical fields. Hypothesis 4: Nurses working in trauma centres cope with mental stress. Hypothesis 5: Nurses working in trauma centres cope with physical stress. Quantitative research in the form of questionnaires was applied on confirmation or refutation of the hypotheses. The research sample consisted of nurses working in trauma centres in the Czech Republic. Upon evaluation of the results hypotheses 1, 2 and 5 were confirmed and hypotheses 3 and 4 were refuted. The research results confirm that the work of nurses in trauma centres is hard in terms of mental and physical stress. There are still some reserves in further education of nurses not only on the part of the top managements but also on the part of the health care staff themselves. The thesis result may help in recruiting new staff to departments where the expected psychical and physical intensity might be an incentive to the care about an employee in the field of mental hygiene and improvement of interdisciplinary cooperation in trauma centres in the Czech Republic.

Tlach, Vladimír ; Varvažovská, Pavla (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The thesis is thematically focused on the area of volunteering as a modern phenomenon occurring not only in the Czech Republic but in the whole world. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first, theoretical part, explains the basic theoretical background of the non-governmental sector with an emphasis on volunteer activity in existing non-governmental organisations. The theoretical part also presents the results of the researches of foreign and domestic experts on volunteering on which the research part of the thesis is based. In the practical part of the thesis are analyzed two non-profit organisations - the Charity Ostrava and Slezská diakonie, which provide social services in the Moravian -Silesian region, and the company Arcelor Mittal, which is actively involved in the field of corporate volunteering. In the research part there are presented outcomes of the field research, which took place in the aforementioned non-profit organisations and the company, but also among public, where it was investigated what people know about non-governmental organisations in their close area, their opinion on volunteering and how they perceive volunteers. The outcomes from a field survey are then compared with foreign and domestic surveys. The aim of the thesis is to propose possible options for changes in working with volunteers in the non-governmental organisations based on the findings, which could lead to streamlining of their work, an increase of the prestige of the volunteer work and a number of volunteers working in the social sector. Based on the investigation it was found that volunteering is beneficial to everyone involved. It allows an individual to actively participate in society, help others and spend free time in a meaningful way. The obtained findings help to improve volunteer work, identify potential reserves in the individual´s work and prevent possible conflicts.

Nongovernmental organizations are with their obligations, including the possible transformation familiar and by no means compromising functionality. Individual institutions that are not fully familiar with the NOZ is recommended to do so, to avoid future confusion in both administrative duties and in their functionality. It is also recommended for all institutions to check all the information in public registers, which are currently registered. Comprehensive amendment to the law is not recommended.

Root system morphology of bare root and containerized beech and oak plants
Becher, Vladimír ; Kupka, Ivo (advisor) ; Bílek, Lukáš (referee)
The thesis follows the bachelor thesis on comparison of morphological and economic parameters of various types of seedlings, which resulted in the planting of containerized and bare root seedlings of the European beech (Fagus sylvativa Linne) and the English oak (Quercus robur Linnaeus) in a forest regeneration in September 2011 and April 2012. The measurement of the height and thickness of the root neck of the seedlings was carried out on designated plots in March 2015. I also investigated possible mortality from the afforestation inspection in July 2012. Furthermore, 154 seedlings, 84 containerized seedlings a 70 bare root seedlings, in order to evalutate the development of the root system, its possible deformation and subsequently detection of the volume by using xylometric method. The data collected in the field were processed into tables and compared with the results observed in the bachelor thesis. The average figures for the height, the thickness of the root neck and the volume of the root system showed almost identical development of bare root and containerized seedlings in the forest cover, even though the figures of individual seedlings were highly variable. When reviewing the development of the root system, I found unacceptable deformation of the main taproot at 25% containerized seedlings and 20% bare root seedlings. The remaining seedlings were without deformation or with acceptable deformation of the taproot (wavy taproot, unbalanced taproot with the axis in the above-ground part, an outgrowth). It was discovered that containerized seedlings were more easily removable from the ground, the seedlings were not sufficiently fixed in the ground and its root system was in some cases less developed than it was with bare root seedlings. This may be influenced by several factors, e.g. the influence of richness of the root system on fine roots, the obstruction of development of the root system by cementing the surrounding soil when using the slit method. The bare root seedlings, the English oak in particular, showed root development to a greater depth, which is very important not only for sealing but also as an important factor in the drought season and extreme summer temperatures when there is rapid exhaustion of the moisture in the upper horizon of the soil due to the vapor. Unfortunately, it was not possible to verify these findings in a larger sample size, as there had been major damage of the forest.
