Comparison of Diffusion Coefficients in Initial Stages of Mutual Diffusion in Layered Structures Carbon/Ferrite and Carbon/Austenite for Chosen Alloys
Čermák, Jiří ; Král, Lubomír
Coefficients of mutual carbon diffusion were measured at initial stages of diffusion for surface thin layer of carbon/ferrite and carbon surface layer/austenite. The aim of the study was to compare the diffusion characteristics obtained at the present strongly non-equilibrium case with those known for carbon mutual diffusion in cases where the carbon concentration does not exceed the solubility limit in the respective substrate. The second goal was to judge, whether the carbon diffusivity is determined by the structure of the substrate matrix (BCC or FCC). As examples of ferrite substrate, pure Fe and chromium steel P91 were chosen, as an example of austenite substrate, AISI316 was taken. It was obtained that – similar to nearequilibrium case – the carbon diffusion measured close to interface C/austenite is significantly lower compared to carbon diffusion near the C/ferrite. Values of carbon diffusion coefficients in cases C/Fe and C/P91 are close one to another. All carbon diffusion coefficients are much lower than those, reported for near-equilibrium conditions; they approach values measured in carbides.

Alternative methods of leading childbirth
PAPAI, Daria Kristina
The topic of my bachelor thesis is "Alternative methods of child delivery". The theoretical part describes the physiological delivery its particular phases and their progression. In addition, I aim to explain what the term alternative birth means, and what it includes. The various alternative positions are described, which can be used to facilitate childbirth, as well as their appropriate use during the particular delivery phases. The theoretical part is concluded by descriptions of pain relief methods, including the description of both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. The second part of the thesis is a practical part, summarizes the results of an evaluation research. The aim was to explore the most used alternative methods and to identify the views and experiences of women with alternative methods and aids used during delivery in selected hospitals. Furthermore, the aim was to describe the regions of the Czech Republic in terms of the use of alternative aids and procedures. The hypotheses were formulated based on previous experiences and personal opinions of the author of the thesis. The research sample consisted of women after a spontaneous child delivery in the České Budějovice Hospital and in the Znojmo Hospital. The research was conducted in the form of an anonymous questionnaire survey, using a non-standardized questionnaires. The results of the survey were compiled in tables and the chi-square test was applied as a method for statistical processing and verifying the hypotheses.

Coping strategies in children´s fear and pain in relation to nursing care
PROCHÁZKOVÁ, Zuzana
For the nurse, taking care of hospitalized children is important not only pediatric nursing knowledge, personal and social preconditions, but also the theoretical and practical competency of methods and techniques, which are used for identification and effective influencing of pain and fear. The aim of this thesis was to identify the main sources of fear of the hospitalized preschool and young school age children and to find out the effective methods and principles of the cooperation with children, alternatively with their accompanying parents in order to moderate the fear of the small patient. Then the thesis tried to chart the nursing diagnostic and evaluation procedure of the pain and get the most used nursing methods of non-pharmacological pain relief. To obtain the necessary data, the qualitative research was used with a semi-structured interview as a research instrument. The first research group consisted of 12 nurses, the second group consisted of 12 children ´s patients of preschool and young school age. The majority of the asked nurses thinks, that children´s patients are afraid especially of non-familiar environment, then of the awaited pain and of the solitude without parents. However, the most patients said, that they were afraid especially of pain, then of non-familiar environment, restriction of their needs, hostile attitude of the medical staff and of the other neighbouring patients. They were also frightened of the death and of the darkness. Most reported nurses mean, that the most effective solution of the children ´s fear is the friendly attitude of the medics. They also mentioned the fact of taking the focus off the fear and the presence of the parents is also beneficial. The nurses ´ answers were in conformity with patients opinion in two fields - friendly attitude of the medics and taking the focus off the fear. Then the children mentioned abiding of their specifics in connection to falling asleep and the demand of beying treated by the same sister or by few same sisters. All respondents also talked about the benefit of parents presence. Regarding the principles of the cooperation, nurses answered the importance of united medical procedures, especially the proper way of information transfer. Then the respondents nurses mentioned the psychical and emotional support for children and their accompaniments, the atmosphere of confidence and the value of well done education. Also the need of calm, silence and privacy was stated. Unlike nurses, children and their parents regarding to principles of the cooperation prefer the psychical and emotional support, then the importance of enough information was mentioned. The fourth research question bears on the methods used for children pain monitoring. The nurses said, that the intentional interview with the patients or with the parents was used as a main technique, that was stated by patients as well. Research question number five said: What are the most used nursing methods of non-pharmacological pain relief at children? Most responded nurses mentioned the distraction of children attention from the painful incentive, then the importance of physical methods, relief position and purposeful preparation for the unpleasant intervention. Nurses also named the helpful contribution of the parents, relaxing exercises and the method of imagination. Regarding the pain treatment, it was noted, that all patients prefered the analgesic therapy. Then they quoted the distraction of their attention from the painful incentive, the friendly attitude of the medics, using the ice compress and the relief position. In the pain acute phase, children required mostly calm, comfort and privacy. All children also considered the presence of parents as very helpful. The theoretical and empirical part of the thesis are suitable for being studied by nurses taking care of children and it can be helpful for nursing quality improvement at children ´s wards in hospitals.

Support of regional development through the Local Action Group Podchlumí
Jezberová, Zuzana ; Hejnák, Václav (advisor) ; Marcela, Marcela (referee)
The Diploma thesis deals with issues of the support of regional development through the Local Action Group Podchlumí, r.a. (LAG Podchlumí). The goal of this thesis was to explore the contribution of the LAG Podchlumí to quality of life of residents and business development. Assessment of the influence of LAG on regional development has been based on the existence and implementation of the Program of rural development program of the Czech Republic Axis IV. LEADER, which leads to an improvement of management and to mobilization of the natural inner potential of countryside. The Program of rural development represented the main financial source for fruition of LAG projects in the previous programming period. In this thesis, activities of the LAG Podchlumí and local subjects for support and development of partnership of residents and for public, business, and non-profit communities have been analysed. Implementation of own projects, through which the versatile development of the region, life improvement of residents, increase the attractiveness of the region has been evaluated. In order to get an independent and objective evaluation, an anonymous questionnaire has been conducted among residents of the region Podchlumí. Further, personal observation of the region Podchlumí, a study of professional literature as well as of internal materials of the LAG has been done. The hypothesis that the Local Action Group Podchlumí plays an important role in development of partnership of public administration of municipalities, agricultural subjects, independent agricultural as well as non-agricultural enterpreneurs, and non-profit organizations has been verified on the basis of analysis of realized activities. Support from the Program of countryside development to the region Podchlumí, Measure IV.1.2 Realization of local development strategy, contributed to achieving improvements in quality of life of residents. The greatest support was given to appearance of communities and quality of infrastructure, development of public facilities and services. Financial resources were spent also on modernization and development of agricultural as well as non-agricultural business. In comparison with other LAGs in the district Jičín, the LAG Podchlumí supported the greatest number of projects through the measure IV.1.2 of the Rural development program on realization of local developing strategy. It has been found by means of evaluation of the anonymous questionaire among residents of the region that residents perceive improvement of appearance and life of communities but they are not aware of the fact that many projects have been implemented with the contribution of activities of the LAG Podchlumí. For this reason, the LAG Podchlumí should focus more on propagation of its own activities. Residents of the region are interested in surrounding of their villages. It is possible to made conclusion that the results of analysis of activities of the LAG authenticated and confirmed correctness of the hypothesis that the Local Action Group Podchlumí plays an important role in development of partnership of public administration of municipalities, agricultural subjects, independent agricultural as well as non-agricultural enterpreneurs, and non-profit organizations.

Dual-system Magnetoresistive Sensor of Turbine Blades Vibration
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František ; Hodboď, Robert
The paper is focused on new methods of non-contact sensing vibrations and deflections of rotating machine parts, especially blades of steam turbines. Special attention is paid to the methods and magnetoresistive sensors developed in the Institute of Thermomechanics for non-contact measurements of characteristics of rotating blades inside steam turbines under operation. Principles of non-contact sensors based on measuring deflections are described and compared, including new types of magnetoresisitive sensors.

Mapping of non-productive habitats in reclaimed post-mining landscape in Most and Chabařovice area
Ledvina, Vilém ; Hendrychová, Markéta (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The objective of thesis is to identify and map a non-productive habitats on areas after coal mining. The first part describes the reasons and ways of reclamation in areas after surface mining. Current knowledge and requirements for landscape protection during reclamation are presented in a literature review, and it shows the importance of these habitats. The monitored location are mines, dumps and areas affected by mining in the area of the Most and Chabařovice in the Ústecký Region in Czech Republic. Mapping has been done using the orthophoto map and field survey. Based on information from mapping the current status and composition of non-productive habitats on the monitored locations have been evaluated. The results are presented in the summary tables for each type of reclamation in monitored location. Following percentage representation of non-productive habitats in four locations has been found: location A (2.39%); location B (12.64%); location C (6.27%); location D (4.78%). The results show that the representation of these habitats is on low level compare to recommended representation resulting from current knowledge about nature conservation. Based on the results of the mapping measures have been proposed for optimal percentage representation of these habitats. The main measures include the building of landscape vegetation on large fields and increasing area of forest arising spontaneously in forestry reclamations. It is also appropriate to create non-productive forest habitats in large forest areas with absence of treeless or small forest meadow. The map outputs and thesis findings can serve as data for the protection of nature and landscape in the monitored location. Work can also serve as information source about the issue of reclamation and priorities to protect the environment during their realization.

Bayesian classification of digital images by web application
Talich, M. ; Böhm, O. ; Soukup, Lubomír
The contribution introduces web application for image classification that has been developed at the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography in the framework of grant project InGeoCalc (supported by Ministry of education of the Czech Republic). The web application is aimed to display, examine and classify digital image data. The data are expected to be obtained from Internet by means of Web Map Services (WMS) or from other sources (possibly non-registered). Image data from different sources can be combined and presented as composition of layers (coverage) with adjustable degrees of transparency. After gathering the data, Bayesian (supervised) classification is applied to distinguish separate regions in the image. User can choose between several classification methods and adjust pertinent parameters. Furthermore, several subsequent basic analytical tools are offered, namely computation of distances, areas or perimeters related to the classified regions, simple statistical summaries about classification results (e.g. distribution of classes, percentage of non-classified regions, etc.). The classification results and registration parameters can be saved for further use. The web application is based on common Internet standards (HTML, Javascript, SVG). The only requirement for running the application is an up-to-date Internet browser supporting SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). Typical usage of the web application can involve land cover mapping based on satellite or aerial images. The application is available free of charge for any Internet user.

Some Results on Set-Valued Possibilistic Distributions
Kramosil, Ivan
When proposing and processing uncertainty decision making algorithms of various kinds and purposes we meet more and more often probability distributions ascribing to random events non-numerical uncertainty degrees. The reason is that we have to process systems of uncertainties for which the classical conditions like sigma-additivity or linear ordering of values are too restrictive to define sufficiently closely the nature of uncertainty we would like to specify and process. For the case of non-numerical uncertainty degrees at least the two criteria may be considered. First systems with rather complicated, but sophisticated and nontrivially formally analyzable uncertainty degrees. E.g., uncertainties supported by some algebras or partially ordered structures. Contrary, we may consider more easy non-numerical, but on the intuitive level interpretable relations. Well-known examples of such structures are set-valued possibilistic measures. Some perhaps interesting particular results in this direction will be introduced and analyzed in the contribution.
