Analysis of the production process of company

In the theoretical part of this work are described the manufacturing process, structure and production management, quality management in the producion and logistics and financial management. It was taken as a base for practically part of this work, where is writen about company functioning, the description of functioning of the production process and its leadership, including importance of duality and logistics in the manufacturing process. There were proposed the possibilities of improving in the manufacturing process and cost savings in storage and transport of the material. Finally was described the economic situation of the company.

Analysis of the process of decentralized procurement of goods and services by the Department of the Army of the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of decentralized procurement of goods and services by the Department of the Army of the Czech Republic - specifically the 72nd Mechanized Battalion Přáslavice to evaluate the current process of decentralized procurement of goods and services and help to formulate proposals for improving the process of being analyzed at selected department.
The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the practical part and is based on study of appropriate literature, current legislation relating to public procurement and internal documents of the Ministry of Defence. The practical part is an analysis of the decentralized process of acquiring property and services by selected department. The analysis includes a description of all process steps decentralized purchasing through e-marketplace and is prepared on the basis of observation and individual interviews with selected personnel department. Further analysis is complemented by a synthesis all implemented decentralized purchasing department in 2015 and is listed for completeness and concrete example of real procurements executed in 2015. The qualitative research is enhanced by a questionnaire carried out in two selected military units within the Ministry of Defence, 72nd Mechanized Battalion Přáslavice and the Center for Simulation and Training Technology Brno.

The process analysis in the project management in Automotive sphere

The thesis is focused on the analysis of processes in project management in the
automotive sphere. After a short introduction of selected company is discribed life cycle of
engagement. In the analytical part of thesis is metodically designed procedure for the
analysis of ongoing processes in lifecycle of engagement. Qualitative description of the
processes is converted into process models in notation BMPN and after are created tables
for more detailed processes analysis. Based on the analysis and knowledge of the tools of
project management are for the weaknesses of the processes recommended tools for their
elimination.

Milling process analysis of thermally modified wood

The work is focused on the characteristics of the milling process of thermally modified wood as a new type of material with an innovative internal structure achieved by heat and humidity treatment. The work is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical summary of the method of milling and a brief analysis of various types of the process. The second part specializes in description of thermally modified wood as the new technical material. The final part deals with the influence of properties of "thermowood" on milling process.

Organical chemicals from biomass

This bachelor thesis deals with the processes of biomass as a renewable resource for the production of chemicals that could compete chemicals obtainable from fossil sources. Processing of biomass can be divided into two main approaches namely a thermochemical and biotechnological processing of biomass processes. This processing involves many processes such as hydrolysis, crushing, fermentation, combustion or high temperatures and pressures, and many other thermochemical or biotechnological processes associated with the nature of the structure of the biomass. As the most important products of biomass processing can be considered biofuels represented in my work mainly by ethanol, but also methanol and other organic chemicals such as furfural, levulinic acid and hydroxymethylfurfural derived from the processing of C5 and C6 sugars located in the fundamental structure of biomass. These organic chemicals can also serve as a chemical platform and subsequent modifications of them can get products with the same or very similar properties of the products of the petrochemical industry.

Implementation of lean manufacturing and application of Kaizen management in small and middle company

The thesis deals with the application of the Lean manufacturing and Kaizen ma-nagement in processes of production and logistics management and selected tools and techniques of lean manufacturing and Kaizen management. The research of the imple-mentation of the Lean manufacturing was conducted at the production departments of the company. It is necessary to involve the processes principles.We can say, that the introduction of lean manufacturing principles and application of Kaizen management is a significant competitive advantage. The aim of tools supporting the implementation of the principles of the Lean manufacturing and Kaizen management is the elimination of wasting, improving response to customer´s demands. The keeping of the principles of company culture with the transition from the concept company to concept my (our) company. These principles are applicable to systems in the mass production and the small batch production. The some methods and tools are applicable in the area of services and public administration. We can say, that into each activity can be found reserves which are wasting about the Lean manufacturing. We are able to reduce or eli-minate them with use right tools. The subject of research are a never-ending changes the set up manufacturing processes during the implementation of Lean manufacturing and next application of Kaizen management. The changes which were done was not concern only for new set of material flow, workplace layout, leveling and optimization work, but also changes focused to thinking of people who are involved in these changes or the changes affecting them. To evaluace of the success and applicability of the newly introduced methods were set up measurable indicators and methodology of their eva-luation. The results which are presented are important for the company where the re-search was conducted. The outputs is important for other companies and recommen-dations of general application can help their further development and help to futher de-velop scientic knowledges.

Management of the patent process

The diploma thesis is dealing with Management of the patent proces, which it is main topic. It is characterized by process connected with the filing of the patent invention and subsequent management. The management of foreign patent process is analyzed for
a particular company in terms of costs in specific countries. Theoretical bases pay attention to characteristics of the process and process management. This thesis i salso focused on the management of intellectual property, characteristics of foreign protection and possibility of enetring to foreign markets. My own work solution, which is based on the theoretical knowledge, cotains the characteristic of the company and its current status of the management at first. As a second thing, the analysis is perfomed for every phase of the patent management, basically for its filing, granting and subsequent maintaining. The overal evaluation of achieved results is done by the end of this chapter. Also, the directed interview with an executive director of the monitored company appered as an important contribution to this work. Results were used for the processing of the final evaluation
of achieved results and recommendations, which determine countries with a possibility
of extension of such a company patent, the determination of the maximum length
of maintenance included.

Optimization of processes in a distribution company

The diploma thesis called Optimization of processes in a distribution company is focused on a firm, fictionally named ABC Ltd which, however, represents a real distribution company, a holding company to be precise, whose parent company is based in the Czech Republic and its subsidiaries are located in Italy, China and Australia. The overall number of staff of the whole concern is sixteen, so it falls into the category of small companies. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the company's processes. The greatest benefit of the thesis is saving the company's expenses based on optimization of the company's processes. In the introduction to the paper all the goals and benefits are stated. The next chapter reveals a brief description of skills that are vital for working on the practical part of the paper and meeting all the goals that have been set at the beginning. The introduction to the practical part deals with introducing the company ABC Ltd. The main topic of this part is the analysis of the present state of the firm's enterprise architecture. One of these architectures, the process one, describes the company's processes which are divided into the main and the supporting ones. In the main processes the potential for improvements is identified. The conclusion brings evaluation of the limits which follow from the revealed potential and suggestions for supporting the limits in the form of project solution.
