Energy performance of wastewater treatment plants
Čížová, Barbora ; Bogáňová, Ida (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The retrieval part of the bachelorś thesis deals with legislation concerning energy audit and energy audit processing at wastewater treatment plants. Further work is aimed at assessing the energy performance, energy optimization and operation of energy self-sufficiency wastewater treatment plants. The practical part is focused on the comparison of the specific energy consumption for wastewater treatment in Koprivnice. The aim is to assess the energy performance of the selected indicators. This is an assessment of the m3 of waste water, kg BOD5 removed and the number of population equivalent.
Unbalanced loading of small waste water treatment plants
Spurný, Martin ; Macsek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the operation of a small wastewater treatment plant. In the research section the basic design parameters of WWTP and selected indicators of waste water pollution are defined as well as their limits according to the valid legislation. In the practical part the first years of operation of the newly built wastewater treatment plant in the town of Svitávka in the South Moravian Region are evaluated. The design parameters of the treatment plant are assessed according to the real measured flow rates spread throughout the year and the values of the basic water quality indicators.
Energy Optimization of WWTP
Frank, Ivo ; Sousedík, Milan (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
Objectives of this bachelor thesis are to offer a brief tutorial on how to proceed with the energy audit of the wasterwater treatment plant and offer energy-efficient and economical alternatives to the technologies and equipment currently used for mechanical and biological wastewater treatment processes. Chapter with practical part of the thesis deals with possible applications of retreived knowledge on to operations of WWTP Mikulov in order to optimize its energy efficiency.
Design of walkable bridges for wastewater treatment
Denk, Jakub ; Gottvald, Jakub (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of walkable bridges for wastewater treatment plant for the company Váhala a spol. s.r.o. In the first part, there is generally described process of wastewater and technologies, which are used for this treatment the most. In following chapter, there is performed design of walkable bridges, especially supporting frame. Part of the thesis concentrates on strength analysis of the most critical components of construction by finite element method. Static computing is performed according to valid European standards – Eurocode 3. Appendixes includes samples of basic technical drawings.
Energetic utilisation of sewage sludge
Tlašek, Miroslav ; Stříteský, Luboš (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with issues related to final treatment sludge. Sewage sludge is an inevitable product of wastewater treatment. Also, most of them concentrated pollution. Most of pollution are concentrated in to them. And because it contains a large percentage of combustibles. Before thermal utilization, it is necessary to appropriately adjust the sludge. Thermal sludge utilization offers the most effective method of energy recovery. It is an energy conversion in the sludge, to heat and electricity. In the vast majority, if not the co-firing, it is necessary to modify the sludge and so it is dried. This is the optimal use of modern technology. There are several variations possible use. Unfortunately it is not in general able to propose the most appropriate technology or methodology, how to make best use of sewage sludge. Specific assignment usually have their own characteristics. In my work I will therefore first try to outline possible technology and in the second part to suggest sludge terminal for WWTP Hodonín.
Energy balance of urban wastewater treatment plants
Čížová, Barbora ; Bartoník, Adam (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The research part of the diploma thesis is focused on an issue of energy consumption in sludge treatment at wastewater treatment plants divided by the number of population equivalent. The aim of the practical part is to set indicators and propose evaluative criteria concerning energy performance of urban wastewater treatment plants. The verification of proposed criteria and energetic analysis result from data of the wastewater treatment plant in Novy Jicin.
The amount of waste from wastewater treatment process
Žíla, Radim ; Macsek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on the amount of waste produced by the sewage treatment plants for the amount up to 2.000 equivalent inhabitants with the gravitational inflow. There are all the types of individual sewage treatment plants of the size up to 2.000 equivalent inhabitants listed in the first section of the theoretical part and the second section of the theoretical part deals with the thorough analysis of all the objects within the sewage treatment plant, their draft specifications and the description of the waste handeling. The practical part of this Bachelor's Thesis deals with the evaluation of the production of waste for the amount up to 2.000 equivalent inhabitants in individual municipalities within the South Moravian region. More specifically it describes the waste of screenings, sand, insoluble substances and sludge on one equivalent inhabitant and its subsequent comparison with the regulation according to ČSN. The evaluation compares all the municipalities among each other and their production of waste is also compared to ČSN.
Sanitation installations and gas installations cottage in the Krkonoše Mountains
Petras, Lukáš ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on sanitary equipment installations in a chalet. The theoretical part deals with the requirements on drinkink water, the outlet fittings, sewerage system, the utilization of rainwater and the infiltration of rainwater and sewage. Solution has two floors.
The study village sewer system Prasklice
Gembalová, Barbora ; Mlčoch, Ondřej (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the existing condition of the sewerage system and the proposal of measures for disposal of sewage in the village Prasklice. Submits a proposal for three options for improving the condition of the drainage and resolve the disposal of sewage. Option 1. consists in the design of new separate system and reconstruction of existing stormwater, the original combined system. To this option, including the proposal of the central sewage treatment plant. Option 2. includes the design of the pumping station for the diversion of sewage effluent to wastewater treatment plant that is proposed in the next village Pačlavice. Option 3. describes the reconstruction of the existing combined system and design of the central sewage treatment plant. The individual proposed technological solutions to the drainage and treatment of waste, is created overview of the economic performance. The object is to determine what the least economically demanding variant and show how subsidies can be used. Economically least demanding option was evaluated option 3. From an operational point of view it is most advantageous to variant 1., which will prevent future operating costs. The diploma thesis brings the village Prasklice a convenient solution for sewerage and sewage disposal in the village.
Study of wastewater management solutions for the village of Lhotka
Vojvodík, David ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the processing and comparison of possible variants of sewerage in the Lhotka locality. It presents a proposal for three variants for improving the state of wastewater management in Lhotka. Option 1 envisages the design of a mechanicalbiological WWTP for sewage, with the proviso that the existing unified sewer will be used for rainwater drainage. Option 2 includes the design of an extensive type of wastewater treatment plant and the completion of the existing integrated sewerage system. The last variant 3 includes the pumping of wastewater by discharge to the Malenovice WWTP. The solution is in accordance with PRVKZK. An overview of economic demands is created for individual technological solutions. The aim is to determine the most suitable solution from an economic and technical point of view.
