Reinforced concrete lookout tower
Kalinová, Kristýna ; Hrubý, Tomáš (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on structural design and assessment of lookout tower. The elements of the lookout tower are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete except for the stair flight, which is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete. The output of the diploma thesis is a structural design report and drawings of the shape and reinforcement. The calculations were performed using Dlubal RFEM 5.26.02. The drawings was processed by AutoCAD 2020 with the RECOC extension.
Static solution of a monolithic structure of an office building
Friedová, Lenka ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on the design and assessment of the monolithic structure of an office building, respectively their main parts - slab, span, columns and basement wall. The static solution is performed in the SCIA Engineer 20.0.2028 computer program. The output of the thesis is a static calculation and drawing part, which is processed in AutoCAD software.
Load-bearing reinforced concrete structure of a multi-storey building
Fikejsová, Kristýna ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This subject of this thesis is an apartment building with a garage in basement and three levels located in the part of Praha called Stodůlky. In this thesis are solved certain parts of reinforced concrete structures: foundation slab, slab above basement floor, column, stairway, cantilever slab and wall. Static behaviour of the object is analysed in the programme SCIA Engineer. The drawings of the reinforcements are made in the system programme AutoCAD and the superstructural programme for AutoCAD Recoc
Twenty Eighty-Four
Truncová, Eva ; Sotelo, MArch Verónica Gallego (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
The project follows up on the undergraduate work on the issue of control and surveillance in public space. Tendencies of absolute transparency, well-arranged and controllable public premises, supposedly implying security, are present in most of the newly emerging complexes of buildings and urban planning strategies. Whether it is done consciously or as a result of current “trends” and requirements, which only a few question, the space is built to meet these demands for easy controllability. The second method of control, which has also emerged during the era of modernism, is the control of the indoor climate through "mechanical environmental management" or through the use of fossil fuel energy for heating, cooling and ventilation. Current requirements for the comfort of the indoor environment presuppose a constantly, fully and homogeneously tempered environment, regardless of the outdoor climate or the time of year. Both control regimes permeate all measures of the urban environment and have a direct impact on its organization, form and, above all, on the regimes of its usage. Developers and their commissioned architects repeat well-proven business models and forms, without any major focus on the context of the place, and incorporate this "logic of control" into their buildings and surroundings. Housing complexes are planned and built up as one unit with a rigid structure and only a minimal possibility of their later alteration. The domain of control through transparency penetrates from the public space to the entrance door of the apartment unit. Indoor, social control changes to total control of the interior climate of the apartment, where the boundaries between seasons and day and night are blurred. The proposal is investigating alternative ways of urban planning and architecture. The project deals with the relationship between building, its surroundings and applicable regulations, standards and energy efficiency, along with the idea of adaptive living.
Conversion of a historic building for recreational purposes
Kašáková, Kristína ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to assess selected parts of the construction of a historic building. The work consists of a diagnostic and design part. The diagnostic part focuses on the object measurement and mortar and steel strength performance testing . The measured data and load-bearing walls in the 1st floor and 2nd floor above-ground and the vault above the 1st above-ground floor are processed in the projection part. The output of the work are object drawings, performed tests protocols and static calculations of the structure.
Reinforced concrete structure of a cottage
Fuit, Daniel ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of a monolithic bearing structure recreational object and the assessment of selected bearing parts of the structure. The object is placed in the hillside. All bearing parts of the structure are interconnected and thus form a rigid unit. Calculation of load effect was made in SCIA Engineer 18.1. Selected bearing parts of the structure were assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state using the MS Excel spreadsheet editor. The final output is the drawing documentation of the assessed bearing parts of the structure.
Static solution of cylindrical prefabricated retention tank
Červená, Adéla ; Strnad, Jiří (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on a static solution of cylindrical prefabricated retention tank. The calculation of internal forces is made by software SCIA Engineer. Reinforcement is designed according to the magnitude of the internal forces. The tank elements are assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state. Furthermore the stress in the foundation base is assessed and ground water is assessed too. Part of the thesis is drawing of structure, formwork drawing and reinforcement drawing of prefabricated elements.
Visions for Krnov
Macejková, Eva ; Ječmen, Marek (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The subject of bachelor thesis was to create a new vision for one of many brownfields situated near the main square of the city of Krnov. The area has been closed for years now, unpenetrable, with no shortcuts going through it. The only remnant of the textile factory is one building with strong expression. The city is suggesting the need of bigger spaces for their library. The potential of the land is predestined for it. But could there be something more to it? Could Library of the 21. century bring something more to this sleeping brownfield?
Structure of apartment building
Řihošek, Jan ; Pulec, Vladimír (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of the floor structure of an apartment building in two structural variants. The aim of the work is to find out the internal forces, design and check in two construction variants. Finite Element Method was used for calculation internal forces using 2D model for floor slab and 3D model of building in the Dlubal RFEM 5.24. The work also includes check of masonry walls.
RC Lookout Tower
Čírtková, Jana ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on structural design and assessment of lookout tower, which is made of reinforced concrete and steel bracing elements. Structural design was performer in accordance with valid eurocodes and standards. The work is accompanied by construction drawings, drawings of shapes, reinforcement and steel elements, and documents from manufacturers.
