Visibility Determination in 3D Maze
Hodes, Vít ; Pečiva, Jan (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This work is about solving the visibility problem in the environment of simple 3D maze by means of BSP tree and PVS computation between leaves. It contains description of key algorithms and processes for achieving this goal. In the core of this work were all of the implemented ways of drawing measured and mutually compared. At the end are outlined next possible steps in development and evaluating achieved results.

Hierarchical Techniques in Lighting Computation
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of hierarchical techniques in global lighting computation. Here is explaining the importance of hierarchical techniques in lighting computation and shows method, how to use these hierarchical techniques in realtime radiosity and its extension to dynamic area lighting. These two techniques are described in detail in the first part of this project. In the other part is desing and implementation of application for dynamic area lighting computation.

Fogs and runway visual range at the airport Brno-Tuřany
Tarasovičová, Nikola ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with visibility and runway visual range, their messages in different meteorological reports, the methods of determining and phenomena, which worsen them. It focuses on fogs as the main cause of low visibility and discusses their origin, division and their impact on air traffic. Particular attention is paid to ways of determining visibility and runway visual range at the airport Brno-Tuřany and fogs at this airport. This thesis contains the results of statistical processing of fog in wind speed and direction and synoptic conditions, during the cold term of 2008/09 to 2012/13.

Improvements of Shadow Rendering

The visibility identification on aerodromes in Czech Republic
Smetka, Adam ; Hudec, František (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with the visibility and its breakdown by weather vocabulary. It discusses the development of RVR systems at airports in the Czech Republic, describes the measurement systems RVR MITRAS, MIDAS IV and history of selected airports. Other chapters describe the possible development of measurement techniques in RVR. The final section is devoted to the categories of runways.

The Lighting Equipment Used in Modern Vehicles and the Measurement of the Range of Visibility of the Rear Lights
Belák, Michal ; Kropáč, František (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This work is about lighting equipment of modern vehicles, its historical development, present condition and possibilities of its further progress and measuring of the range of visibility of the rear lights. First part is aimed at lighting equipment used in modern vehicles as a whole. It describes sources of light, their principle, construction, advantages and disadvantages. Next it deals with searchlights and other lighting devices, their gradual development, construction and modern solutions which are used in them, and also their future development. Second part of the work is aimed at characterization of ways of measuring the range of visibility used in practice, their possible application to measuring of the range of visibility of the rear lights and on proposal of presentive methodics for this measurement. Realization and interpretation of practical measurement by this methodics is included.
