The theme of the thesis is the interior reconstruction design of the rooms in the guesthouse Mezi stromy and the incorporation of an atypical furniture element – a modular hanger wall. The final design of the interior will meet the requirements for facilities of this type and will maintain the themes of the individual rooms, which are named after the four seasons of the year. The main focus will be on making the rooms overall more comfortable and to increase the guesthouse's number of guests by improving their comfort. The thesis also deals with themes in the field of accommodation facilities, adhering to principles and requirements in this area, as well as ergonomics. Information from these fields must be taken into consideration when furnishing a guesthouse. The outcome of this work is a new solution for the interior, including the already mentioned design of an atypical furniture element, along with drawings and visualizations.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the public interior of the existing forest club - Halúzka. This work consists of literary research and a practical part. In the literary research, the discussed topic is the public children's interior, its safety and the demands placed upon process of designing. In the practical part, the issue of interior design, the main social room together with the dining room and the design of an atypical interior element is solved. The source of information are kindergartens, the demands placed on them, standards and laws.

The work deals with the creation of a seating element for the interior of a train station with a direct link to the exterior. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the literature on the topic and on the aspects that must be taken into account when designing the seating element. The task of the actual design presented in the practical part of the thesis is the construction and overall solution of the atypical element, compliance with the requirements for furniture for public space, the choice of appropriate materials and achieving user comfort. The work brings new findings in the design of a seating element for a stressed environment of public interior and takes into account the current requirements of the global environmental economy. In addition to seating, the element has a number of other functions (additional table, charging, built-in display, LED lighting, etc.).

MASNIKOSA, Aleksandar. Chair for public interior. Master thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023 The thesis focuses on the design of furniture for public interior. The result of the work is a design and a manufactured functional model. The chair has a simple design and construction solution and is made of solid beech wood. The first part of the thesis deals with the history and gradual development of seating furniture. It also describes ergonomics, typology and other requirements related to seating furniture. This is followed by a market survey, which includes a list of well-known Czech and foreign companies that makes wooden chairs. The second half of the thesis deals with the chair design process itself. The gradual evolution of the design process from the initial idea, sketches, 3D models, visualisation to production. Process is shown, described, and enriched with photographs. The functional model was finally photographed in suitable interiors.

The thesis deals with the design of the public interior in the grounds of historical water tanks under the Žlutý kopec in Brno. In the first part, the thesis deals with the reasons for the creation of water tanks and their history, as well as the importance of water as a source of inspiration. The design of the architectural form of the new building serving as a tourist background connecting all the water tanks in the area is presented, as well as the appearance of the interior and furniture elements. In the work, the designs of atypical furniture elements in the form of an information desk, a cabinet assembly and upholstered benches are further elaborated.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the interior design of a package free shop with a café in a reconstructed space and subsequently the design of an atypical furniture element placed in it. When designing the interior, care will be taken to ensure that the space meets all the requirements for both the operation of the cafe and the package free store. In order to be able to find the right solution, in the first part of the work an analysis of package free shops and cafés was performed, where the history of zero waste shops, packagings as artifacts, and also the correct ergonomics of cafes and package free shops were discussed. The atypical element is the bar counter, with attention paid to its location, shape, and functionality in the space. In the last part of the work, its design and construction is thoroughly discussed, as well as its material composition. The work also includes a calculation of the material costs and technical drawing documentation of the bar counter and visualization of the interior and the bar area.

The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to create a design of a shelving system intended for public space, specifically for children’s playroom in kindergarten. The design itself is preceded by the review of kindergarten furniture currently offered on the market. The theoretical part of the work deals with the requirements for storage systems in public spaces concerning hygiene and safety as well as technology. We also consider the effects of colours in space on healthy child development. The practical part of the work focuses on the design itself. It includes description of the constructional solution, material overview, selection of optimal colour scheme of the shelving system, and 3D visualisation created in programs Cinema 4D and Lumion. Technical drawings are enclosed as appendices of the thesis.

As theme of this work was chosen project of the reception desk initially designed for company of the Ing. Jan Opitz. First part of the work is focused at the theoretical way out for the creation of reception desk and search of solution of the current reception desks. Work is primary focused at constructional solution. Next this work is dealing with used materials and total disposition of the desk. And it in term of anthropometry even ergonomy. At next part of the work is following requests from submitter and solely solution of the reception desk. Its part is constructional mechanical drawing, bill of materials and visualization of the proposal. Obviousness is even economic assessment because nor quality neither price decide about final aspect.

The theme of the thesis is the interior design of a store Caresse, which is specialized in the sale of women's underwear. The introduction of thesis summarizes brief history of stores, the requirements for the functioning of the public interior according to applicable law, norms and principles of ergonomics. The proposal is tied to a specific space in the shopping arcade Rozkvět at Náměstí Svobody square in Brno and meets the stated requirements of the investor. Important aspect of proposal is designing according to brand identity Caresse. The thesis includes design of custom furniture elements and preliminary calculation of commission's cost.

The content of this bachelor work is the design of the interior of the tattoo studio for one working artist and the design and production of the storage table. The author deals with the history of tattoos in various parts of the world. Part of this is the theoreti-cal part on public interior, mainly material requirements, heating, air conditioning, lighting and colors in the interior. This work also discusses the work and ergonomics associated with the tattoo process. In the theoretical part are also selected examples of interiors of the tattoo studios in the Czech republic. From the collected knowledge and information was drafted by the reconstruction of the interior and sto-rage table suitable for the work of the artist.
