The target of this labour is to give summary of contemporary level of construction of wind power station tower. The first part describes importance and progress of alternative sources of energy, especially wind energetic in Czech republic. Next point concerns some construct options of wind power station tower and its basic elements. Close of the work is oriented to modern forms in problems of the wind power station tower and indicates options of modern development.
Sacral Building

it is a newly built sacral building. The object is projected for a protestant church. The object lies in a town Kutná Hora, on a slightly sloping ground. The object is designed as free-standing building. There is a main gathering space on the first floor and other rooms for the social church life. There are three small apartments and the pastors apartment on the second and third floor. The ground-plan is L-shaped. The object has three sections. The first section is the tower, the second sections contains the gathering space which is orientated to the east and the third section contains apartments and remaining spaces, the main dominant of this section is the indoor built-on gallery. The object is covered with a flat roof. The building is designed from the brick construction systém of BS Klatovy company (concrete fittings)
Family house with a desing office

The point of this bachelor´s thesis is the project of a family house with establishment (desing office) and it contains the complete documentacion for the execution of the project. This building is situated in the region Vysočina, the village Věž. It is a two-storey family house and it is projected for 4-5 people. The design office is designed as single-storey. The bulding is cellarless. The building plan uses the load-bearing vertical structure of keramic Heluz. There is used the contact thermal insulation system, the mineral wool TF Profi is used as insulation. The horizontal structures are made from the beams HELUZ MIAKO and insert HELUZ MIAKO. The family house is covered with a mono-layer flat roof.
New town hall for the district Brno-North

The main architectural motif of the contrast vertical and horizontal. Vertical - a tower that will house the town hall, the dominant element in the area, and therefore represents well the importance of the city hall within the district. This importance is enhanced by the location of the tower on the corner. Calm horizontal volume cultural center follows the street line and thus defines a new public spaces, including a new town hall square. The unifying element of the two buildings is a double facade of white aluminum fins.
CARBON Visitor Center

The work deals with the design of the visitor center in the area of the Frenštát mine, Trojanovice municipality. The proposal is based on highlighting the dominant features of the area under consideration. The goal of the project was to design a distinctive object - a "sculpture" that would provide visitors with spaces for education, lectures and refreshments. The largest part of the building is made up of exhibition spaces, which allow visitors to browse permanent and temporary exhibits related in particular to the issue of mining areas. The exhibition also includes an outdoor exhibition. The dominant feature of the proposed building is the observation tower, which gives visitors a view of the Beskydy Mountains and a closer look at the mining activity.
Fire station in Žamberk

The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of the new building of the fire station in Žamberk. The building plot is located on the northwestern outskirts of the city of Žamberk in the street Čs. armády. The fire station building is free-standing and contains two above-ground floors and a tower for drying hoses. On the first above-ground floor, there is a garage for emergency vehicles and associated areas such as a wash box, a technical room with a backup source of electricity, a cloakroom with emergency clothing and washing facilities, fuel storage, a warehouse, a building maintenance workshop, a machine service workshop, sanitary facilities, hose drying and a corridor with a staircase to the second above-ground floor. On this floor, there is an administrative part, a dirty and clean changing room, hygiene facilities, rooms for day and night emergency, a slide to the ground floor, and a room for physical training of fire station workers. The building has a simple shape of two rectangles locked into each other with a distinctive square tower. The object is based on foundation footings and belts. The vertical support system of the above-ground floor is a prefabricated reinforced concrete frame with infill masonry made of ceramic blocks. Horizontal load-bearing ceiling structures are reinforced concrete prefabricated beams with pre-stressed ceiling cavity panels. The roof structure is designed as a single-skin flat roof weighed down by a layer of washed river aggregate.
Use of Symbolism in Selected Works of William Golding

This diploma thesis is concerned with the use of symbolism in three selected novels by William Golding, Pincher Martin, The Spire and The Double Tongue. The theoretical part presents a brief biography of the writer and outlines theoretical background of literary symbolism, focusing especially on Northrop Frye's Theory of Symbols and the psychoanalytic perspective. It is concluded by listing sources of inspiration behind the selected Golding's works, taking his own experiences as well as literary influences into account. The practical part begins with characterization of Golding's use of symbols in general, including his methods, recurring topics and symbolic patterns. Its main part focuses individually on the three chosen books, in the order of their publication. Each section analyses symbolism of setting of the story and the protagonists' names, symbolic imagery, and it seeks for Christian and psychoanalytic symbols. In addition, it presents possible interpretations of other significant symbols occurring in the particular novel. The use of symbolism is put in context with outer influences to show the variety of topics and specificity of the author's style.

South Bohemian sacral architecture of the late Gothic1450 - 1550 in the Rosenberg domain Mgr. Roman Lavička A group of late-Gothic churches, which keeps attracting our attention, was built in the Rosenberg domain during the reign of the Jagiellon dynasty. Limited archival material, results of dendrochronologic analyses and preserved buildings suggest that it was mainly building maintenance that was in progress in the Rosenberg domain in the second half of the 15th century. In the early 1480s the building of the new pilgrimage church in Kájov (1471/1474- 1485) was coming to its end. And it was only then that big town parish churches in Trhové Sviny, Dolní Dvořiště, Hořice na Šumavě, Chvalšiny and Nové Hrady started being rebuild or constructed anew almost simultaneously. Around 1485 almost twenty religious buildings were being built in the Rosenberg domain. They reflect the increasing economic prosperity and self-confidence of the town and village municipalities, corporations as well as individuals manifesting their wealth, success and strength. From a formal and ideological point of view it is possible to trace down a group of related buildings directly in this initial phase. I/34 Skála and Věž - bypass study

The subject of this bachelor thesis is research study of bypass of the small town Věž and nearby village Skála. Věž and Skála are located 7 kilometres northeast from Humpolec city. The bypass is designed as a relaying of existing road I/34. Existing road passes through central parts of Věž and Skála and it doesn’t meet the technical requirements regarding directional, vertical and width solutions. For these reasons and also in order to reduce negative impact of transport, new road section is designed.
Mobile Game Using Augmented Reality

Main goal of this thesis was to create a game in augmented reality running on iOS operating system. The game is based on the tower defense game genre. The thesis describes augmented reality and its history. The work also describes tools which are necessary to create this project. Following part describes the design and development process of the game. Lastly the thesis deals with the tools available for testing, testing itself and its results.
