Hlavnou témou mojej diplomovej práce je zhodnotenie, či má firma Nobilis Tilia, s.r.o. rozšíriť svoje podnikateľské aktivity na zahraničné trhy, konkrétne na nemecký trh s kozmetikou. Celá práca je postupne rozdelená do troch hlavných častí – na teoretickú, analytickú a návrhovú. V teoretickej časti sú zhodnotené poznatky získané z literárnych zdrojov zameraných na strategický management firiem. Analytická časť sa zaoberá firmou Nobilis Tilia, s.r.o., jej históriou a portfóliom produktov. Následne je spracovaná analýza vonkajšieho obecného prostredia, Porterova Analýza Piatich Síl, SWOT analýza nemeckého trhu s kozmetikou. Návrhová časť práce ponúka prehľad odporúčaní, založených na výsledkoch spomínaných analýz.

TheStudy of Security Contracts, Focusing on Customs Issues in the Enterprise

The diploma thesis is focused on possible customs issues during order processing in the manufacturing company. The theoretical part of this thesis contains definition of the world trade basic terms and a description of the customs clearance process. In the practical part, there is a description of the ordering procedure with attention to customs issues and rules in international trade. It includes a project draft which should provide the company with the improvement of the monitored indicators such as the quantity of delayed deliveries for distribution centers or the number of customs inspections.

Selected issues of the public regulation of export of dual use items Abstract At the time this paper was written, security was a dominant theme in the international environment. The military conflict in Ukraine, terrorism in Israel and the growing antagonism of global and regional powers have made topics such as military hardware, weapons of mass destruction and international sanctions very topical. Dual-use goods are closely linked to all these security issues. It can covertly significantly increase military capabilities in the field of conventional and unconventional weapons and in the field of information. Despite the fact that it is widely used in industry and can surround us at literally every turn, it remains in the shadows of wider attention. Yet its export carries with it a number of extensive obligations for the standard-setter. It defines dual-use goods as those products, software and 'know-how' that are usable for both civilian and military purposes. Their acquisition for the purpose of misuse is then referred to as 'proliferation'. The legal regulation of the export of such goods is specific because it is an interplay between international law and European law, which is applied by means of administrative law. Impact of value addition to tomatoes on poverty in Ghana

The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of value addition to tomatoes on poverty in Ghana. The research is based on the Scholarly Internship Development (SID) project that was taken in Ghana 2014 in association with Mendel University in Brno. There were used qualitative and quantitative methods for the research. The main methods were comparative analysis, regression and correlation analysis to determine whether domestic production is cheaper than imported tomato paste and its impact on poverty in Ghana. The result of this work shows a positive impact based on the research provided in this work.

International Trade with Flowers

The aim of this thesis is to analyze international trade with flowers focusing on the largest producers and exporters. Another aim is to identify critical points in the import into the Czech Republic. The theoretical part gives the ways of transport and certification of flowers, problems with trading and peculiarity in sales are also discussed in this thesis. The qualitative method of research is used in the practical part. It is a method of controlled interviews with flower buyers and their future comparation. Respondents were selected by random sampling. The interviews are used to gather information about the problematics. The questions mainly concern the purchase of flowers, their transport, storage and frequency of purchase. The gained information is summarized at the end of the thesis.

The impact of Brexit on EU trade

Theoretical part of the master´s thesis explains the fundamental terms necessary for introduction to the topic and understanding the situation. Practical part of the master´s thesis is divided into two parts. The first part consists of qualitative research through a questionnaire survey of Czech exporters registered in Official Database of Czech Trade, government pro-export agency, and the data are evaluated by the synthesis method. The second part of the master´s thesis is a case study demonstrating trade between European Union and the United Kingdom before Brexit and after the end of the Brexit transition period. The conclusion is a summary and at the same time a connection of all obtained information into one whole as well as a confirmation of the hypothesis of this master´s thesis.
