The thesis deals with the proposal of the Open Prison, which focuses on the resocialization of persons sentenced to serve an execution of the sentence. Prisoners have a specific regime where they are trained to live in freedom. The open prison in its form reflects the necessary operations for such a type of facility. The prison is located in close proximity to the city for its purpose.

Criminal proceedings against law entities Summary The Act no. 418/2011 Coll., Act on Criminal Liability of Legal Entities and Proceedings Against Them came into force on 1st January 2012. Up until that point the legal entities could not have been prosecuted for crimes, because we had only personal liability in our country. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to research the procedural part of Act no. 418/2011 Coll., the criminal liability of legal entities and proceedings against them in more detailed way, especially discuss the specific differences in criminal procedure against legal entities, which differ from the general provisions in criminal procedure against natural persons. These specific differences contain provisions of provisional and protective measures, acts of legal entities, defense of legal entities and specific executions of punishments, which can be inflicted only to legal entities. This thesis mentions legal acts of international law, legal acts of European Union law and legal acts of national law. Moreover, the thesis contains references to articles and publications by notorious Czech criminal law experts, who research the problematics of the criminal responsibility of legal entities. The influence of leisure activities on the resocialization of convicted persons

The Bachelor thesis is focusing on the function and influence of freetime activities during resocialization of convicted man in Remand prison in Ceske Budejovice. The theoretical part of the thesis describes not just socialization and resocialization concepts but also deals with phenomenon of execution of the sentence. The key part of the thesis deals with the freetime activities itself. We are interested in their creation, nature but especially of these activities during the execution of the sentence in use. This is closely related to specific description of activities of individual professional employees who include convicted man into freetime activities. There were answered four research questions using the quantitative approach in this empiric part of the thesis. As data collection method, I used the questionnaire. The results show that the convicted men get willingly involved in the freetime activities however the benefit of freetime activities in the convicted men's life are questionable.

Criminal proceedings against legal entities

This diploma thesis discusses the criminal proceedings against legal persons. The main idea of this diploma thesis is to describe single juridical institute of criminal procedure which is specific for proceedings against legal persons. For better understanding is necessary to find and understate all the sources of law. The primary authorities which will be used in the criminal proceedings are above all Act of Criminal Procedure against Legal Persons, Rules of Criminal Procedure and also Constitution of the Czech Republic and Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. It is also important to looking the sources at international level. Fundamental source is European Convention on Human Rights. The thesis deals with institutes of criminal law specific for legal entities, like imputability, a person committing a crime or enumeration of criminal acts for which can be affected legal entities. The main chapter contains analysis of each section from special part of Act of Criminal Procedure against Legal Persons. The role of social worker in resocializatin of adult offenders of property crime serving a prison sentence

(anglicky): In my thesis, I focus on the role of social workers in prisons and their effect on social rehabilitation of offenders who have committed a property crime. Imprisonment is based on the principle of restorative justice beyond the protection of society to act as an educational element directly to the offender. Individuals who leave prison, are at risk of social exclusion and their possibility of integration into society is due to stigmatization, unstable social environment, housing, employment and other circumstances endangered. The aim of this bachelor thesis is mapping the activities of social workers with adult men in prison. The social worker is a part of the overall examination of the situation of prisoners, social workers are also involved in the processing of a rehabilitation program, which has an impact on an individual's life after release and on recidivism. Social worker cooperate with families, verifies information, etc. The thesis explores the practice of social workers in our country and considering to the practice I suggest changes to improve practice.

Factors influencing resocialization of persons released from prison

This bachelor thesis is focused to issue of resocialization of persons after imprisonment and factors that may influence the resocialization. The whole resocialization proces is not only in prison, where it should be most intense, but the process should continue after release from prison. In theoretical part the issue is described based on available literature. The empirical part is focused to find out the most important factors, which may affect the success of resocialization from the perspective of persons after imprisonment. The Research was carried out by using questionnaires.Eight hypotheses were defined. These hypotheses were evaluated and supplemented by research findings. As is reflected in the total institution life

The subject of this thesis is a description and analysis of life imprisonment prisoners' daily life. The thesis deals with wider integration of daily life in jail. The jail as an institution and its impact on prisoners' life is described in theory. Problems of life imprisonment, key words connected with daily reality of total institutions and jail as a formal organization are also analysed. This work points out the lost of life imprisonment prisoner's identity and the importance of process adaptation in it. That means that life in jail is connected to identity lost during his collision with total institution. This process of identity lost is obvious particularly in of life imprisonment prisoners. In theoretical part of this thesis I derive from references of sociologists who work with topics of total institutions, stigmatization, moral career, technique of power and other sociological concepts. I try to show the impact of punishment on one's identity, what strategies of dealing with stress prisoners use and the whole picture of prisoner's personality impacted by the isolation from outer world to the end of the life.
