Information of the population and employees of Temelín NPP on evacuation in case of a radiation emergency
RYBÁK, Tomáš
The aim of the thesis was to compare the awareness of employees of the Temelín nuclear power plant and the general public about evacuation in the event of a radiation emergency. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was carried out. Questionnaires were distributed and filled out using an internet tool for creating questionnaires at survio.com stands. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the Temelín nuclear power plant, its geographical location and technical description. The work is also focused on the radiation safety of nuclear power plants, their workers and residents against radiation. In the theoretical part, selected accidents of the Jaslovské Bohunice, Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear power plants are further described. For the purposes of the practical part, the same questionnaire was created for the employees of the Temelín nuclear power plant and the general public. The questionnaire is composed of 34 questions. The first 4 questions serve to divide the respondents, and the remaining questions determine the awareness of the respondents about evacuation in the event of a radiation emergency. A total of 100 respondents took part in the survey - 50 employees of the Temelín nuclear power plant (50%) and 50 respondents from the general public (50%). The survey results were evaluated using the internet tool survio.com and the Microsoft Excel software program. The aim of the thesis was to compare the awareness of the general public and employees of the Temelín nuclear power plant about evacuation in the event of a radiation emergency. From the questionnaire survey, it is evident that the level of awareness of the employees of the Temelín nuclear power plant reaches 86%, and the general public only 68%. The result shows that employees are better and more informed than the lay public. Based on this investigation, I would recommend informing the public more about evacuation options in the event of a radiation emergency.
The Concept of Temporality in The Work of Ladislav Hejdánek
Starý, Ondřej ; Pelcová, Naděžda (advisor) ; Hejduk, Tomáš (referee) ; Rybák, David (referee)
This thesis is focused on the explanation and critical analysis of the concept of temporality in the work of Ladislav Hejdánek. The theme of temporality is a key motive for Hejdánek's thinking. The whole concept is characterized by a combination of philosophical and theological ideas that create a provocative attempt at a unique philosophical system. The meaning of the concept lies in the processual understanding of the subject as an event. Each subject has its own unique form of time, which is expressed by the connection of the object and "the non-objectivness" (in terms of time). According to Hejdánek, the emphasis on processuality and the temporal nature of the subject really captures the true essence of life and the world. Unlike purely objective thinking, which hypostasizes everything alive into timeless thought constructs. The first chapter of the dissertation is focused on summarizing and introducing the concept of the subject. A summary of the important features of the process understanding of the subject allows an explanation of the main topic. The second chapter focuses on the interpretation of temporality. The different perceptions of time are first explained by the dichotomy of myth and faith. This dichotomy then reveals the reasons for the need to replace the principle of causality....

Musical ethnography of the creative collective SDBS
Poskočilová, Lucie ; Zdrálek, Vít (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Matěj (referee)
This work presents the musical ethnographic research of the activities of the independent Prague-based community sdbs, which focuses on the organization of concerts and music festivals. The sdbs creative collective (that is the whole title of the group) appears at the "alternative" culture scene in the year 2010. Since then, the collective organised many concerts and music festivals, but it especially focuses on the organisation of two of them: Ruins of Intolerance and Psy-High. The sdbs collective is an intellectual group which strongly conceptualizes and theorizes its activities, a tendency that shows most prominently in the case of the two above mentioned festivals, a fact that informs my decision to focus my analysis on them During my research, I especially emphasise on the collective's activities in the field of music production. Through it, I try to understand the specific musical elements that I define as typical for this sphere of music. My endeavor is to describe specific musical activities through observation and insider experience and (based on interviews with the persons involved) to understand and interpret the mental concepts in the background of the activity being described. I use the anthropological model of Allan P. Merriam as a framework for my research, keeping track of three...
The Multiplicity of Being: The Ontology of Alain Badiou
Pivoda, Tomáš ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kouba, Petr (referee) ; Pechar, Jiří (referee)
Tomáš Pivoda, The Multiplicity of Being: The Ontology of Alain Badiou PhD thesis Abstract The thesis introduces for the first time in the Czech philosophical context the ontology of the French philosopher Alain Badiou, as he set it out in his fundamental work Being and Event (L'être et l'événement, 1988). It first presents the starting point of Badiou's philosophy as well as the reasons of his identification of ontology with the set theory, and it points out Badiou's importance for contemporary philosophy, especially for the so called speculative realism around Quentin Meillassoux. The main axis of the exposition is then built around Badiou's four fundamental "Ideas": the multiplicity, the event, the truths and the subject, in connection with which it is shown how Badiou constructs his conceptual apparatus out of individual axioms of the set theory, whereby he follows the basic formal definition of multiplicity based on the operator . In connection with∈ the first Idea of multiplicity, the thesis exposes - with references to Martin Heidegger and Plato - Badiou's conceptual transposition of the couple one/multiple on the couple existence/being and defines the fundamental concepts of his ontology - the situation, the presentation, the representation and the void, with the help of which Badiou interprets...
Proposal and implementation of procedures for automated response of security incidents
Hons, Kamil ; Safonov, Yehor (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of proposals for procedures for dealing with security incidents, both from a theoretical and practical point of view. Three generic scenarios in the form of graphical diagrams, designed in Inkscape program, were created as a theoretical template for the automatic handling of security incidents. The first proposed scenario suggests a general procedure for dealing with an event in which an email attachment is marked as suspicious. The second scenario serves as a suggested procedure for handling an event, where an untrusted external IP address is suspected to be communicating with a local one. The third scenario then suggests an investigation procedure for events, where a suspicious file on a remote device needs to be investigated. Based on these created scenarios, a practical implementation of procedures for automized solving of security incidents was performed and documented in the Python programming language within the Splunk Phantom environment. As part of the documentation of the scenario implementation, two audiovisual demonstrations were created to illustrate the designed environment and the functionality of the implemented scenarios using programs such as OBS and Blender. The individual implementations are tested at the end of the thesis by running them automatically over events from a defined time range. The results are clearly analyzed in the form of tables to determine the success of these scenarios, which is based on checking how the analysis results differ from the original assumptions. Based on the analysis, the practical implementations of the scenarios have been modified to ensure that their output matches with the assumption. Thus, results are three proposed, tested and analyzed scenarios, which can further serve as a basis for specific implementations in a corporate information system. The actual implementation of the theoretical scenarios was carried out within a testing environment and the work includes a description of the communication and a setup of the environment. Finally, the results of the individual scenarios were described.
