Remote management of the gasoline power generator
Chalupa, Tomáš ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Bednařík, Josef (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design and implementation of a device for common gasoline power generator to achieve its remote management. First of all, it is focused on the starting mechanism that replaces the operator during manual start. It also deals with selection and implementation of actuators and sensors necessary for operation and monitoring of various states. Finally, the development of a web-based user interface for remote management is discussed. The first part of this paper is devoted to the research of the specific type of power plant used. The remaining part describe the actual design and implementation of the whole device, which is divided into mechanical, electrical and control part.
Web App for Q-Sorting
Aplikace například umožňuje resetovat celou tabulku s kartami, automaticky ukládá už částečně seřazenou tabulku a poskytuje "minimap" element s náhledem nad celou tabulkou.
Application for Plant Disease Detection
Kozub, Tadeáš ; Vaško, Marek (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and creation of a mobile application that serves to help with plant disease identification. It presents the process of designing the app and its UI, user testing, creation of REST API and also the training of models using machine learning methods. The result is a React Native application, trained model for image-based recognition of tomato diseases and a set up remote server with backend implementation. The achieved accuracy of tomato disease model is 98.76%.
Mobile App for Pairing Movies to Watch
Zouhar, Tomáš ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and developing modern mobile applications for the Android platform. The result of this thesis is a mobile application for matching movies to watch in a group. Users of this app can create groups or join other users' groups. Users can rate movies based on their common interests. The final product of this process is the movie that has received the best ratings or the movie which all users agreed on.
Control of system with electric motors by CAN Bus
Hamřík, Petr ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to work the control of DC motors on already created stands using the CAN BUS. There is a research part in the thesis that deals with the control of DC motors. The DC motor simulation was created in MATLAB Simulink. The last part deals with the physical control of DC motors and the development of the user interface.
Design of a Sub-part of the Information System for Recording Fees
Vybíral, Martin ; Dydowicz, Petr (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a part of the information system with a specific focus on the recording of fees in the state administration. The main objective of this proposal is not only to simplify the overall environment of the information system, but above all to make it more efficient in practice. In order to achieve this, the necessary methods and analyses will be used during the work, which will help us, among other things, to better understand the issue. All-important concepts will be explained in detail in the theoretical part of this thesis.
System for Managing Corporate Data Integration
Řezník, Michal ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
Cílem této práce je návrh a implementace aplikačního rozhraní, který se stane součástí mikro aplikace patřící do integrační platformy firmy Onsemi. Práce se nejprve věnuje představení strategií používaných během vývoje systému, použitým nástrojům a návrhu samotného designu systému. Middleware platforma Onsemi obstarává více než 3000 da- tových toků denně a zajišťuje úspěšný každodenní chod korporátu.
Analysis and Optimization of the Graphical User Interface of the BUT Information System
Žalmánek, Matěj ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the user-friendliness of the schedules and related components of the BUT information system with the aim of identifying poorly user-friendly components and op- timizing and improving their user-friendliness. First, I located problematic components and these further became the impetus for the questionnaire survey. Based on this question- naire survey, I made a design for a new user interface, which I then implemented and tested with users. In this work, I was able to create a number of new user interface features that make it easier for users to work with the schedules. The benefits of this work include better subjective evaluation of schedules by users, including a reduction in the time to perform certain tasks with schedules.
Web Application for Managing a Smart Greenhouse with Gamification Elements
Janeček, Martin ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an intuitive user interface for monitoring and controlling conditions in a smart greenhouse. This is complemented by a system of devices, compared to a normal greenhouse, which maintain an ideal environment for the plants using remote access from the application. The web application is equipped by a gamification system, which aims to motivate the user to use all the features. At the same time, this system guides the user through the initial introduction to the smart greenhouse. The application is implemented using the Django framework, the presentation side is provided by the React library. The developed solution allows users to easily control the conditions in the smart greenhouse and analyze the history of measured data in a chart or statistics.
BookSharing – Mobile Application for Book Sharing
Baláž, Martin ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a mobile application for lending books between users. Users can add books to lend and also borrow them from other users, with the option of paying for the loan. The application is developed for the Android operating system using the Kotlin programming language. The application communicates with a server that is also developed in Kotlin using the Ktor framework. The server handles the storage, filtering, and processing of data that are stored in the server database and that are necessary for the proper operation of the application. The application's user interface and user experience were tested with six users and the results were above average.
