One Time Passwords
Škarda, Filip ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
This Bachelor thesis describes the one-time passwords and their various implementation possibilities. The one-time passwords are passwords, which are valid only for one login or transaction. In contrast to regular passwords, one-time passwords are immune against reply attacks, which means that if a possible attacker eavedroppes the used password, he cannot exploit it, because it is not valid anymore. The theoretical section of the thesis explains the reasons for using one-time passwords and demonstrates some particular OTP systems. The practical section shows two different examples of using open-source OTP systems. The first one describes the use of OTPasswd for authentication to a server over SSH, the other one uses MultiOTP PHP class for authentication to a web application.

What are the costs and benefits of daylight saving time?
Kožušková, Kateřina ; Bartoň, Petr (advisor) ; Schwarz, Jiří (referee)
Daylight saving time (DST) was implemented with purpose to maximize use of daylight and thereby reduce electricity consumption used for lighting. This policy would primarily affect energetics, however its influence was shown in many other areas. The thesis contains general assumptions of daylight saving time impact on electricity consumption and the main goal of the thesis is to identify with the natural experiment whether the extension of daylight saving time till the end of October occuring in Czech republic in 1996, led to savings of electricity consumption. Observed period is September and October between years 1993 and 1998. First, the difference in consumption between days with DST and without DST is investigated. On days with DST the consumption was lower than on days without DST. The two other regression analysis are devoted to the effect of the introduction of DST in October. First, the analysis included both observed months, the effect of extending daylight saving time however was not demonstrated. Further, October as itself is analyzed. October consumption was reduced by approximately 2,4 % in three years after the introducion of DST, compared with three previous years, when DST was not implement in this month.
Time of landscape
KOPÁČKOVÁ, Alena
This diploma work is virtually focused on the landscape-painting. The presented painting cycle reflects the temporal variations of landscape. It provides a transcription of emotional experiences and feelings arising from an intimate communication with a certain landscape spot. The changes in time are demonstrated via a repeating motif, which enables to follow the colour variability of the nature and the surrounding atmosphere. Photos attached to the work display the landscape variations in the durations of two years. The regular observations of two tree motives result in a cycle of nine paintings, which can be further divided into three series. The theoretical part of the diploma work clarifies its principal idea. It explains motivations, inspiration resources and circumstances leading to the completing the painting cycle. The attention is also paid to the landscape-painting as a genre art and selected artists, those creations were inspired by the close touch of the nature.

Nurse {--} patient relation in emergency room sector
VČELIČKOVÁ, Martina
"Nurse {--} patient relation in emergency room sector{\crq}q was the topic of my thesis. The bachelor thesis was divided in two parts. The theoretical part dealt with questions of those factors which influence the nurse - patient interrelation. The thesis tried to describe the most important factors which effect the establishing of the patient {--} nurse interrelation; it tried to describe nurses{\crq} points of view as well as patients{\crq} points of view because their views can be fundamentally different and in a way they can zoom in some out-patients{\crq} aspects. The length of waiting time for treatments, overall impressions related to their visits in emergency rooms, patients{\crq} characters and the level of emergency room nurses{\crq} stress play significant roles. Two targets were set in the practical part of my thesis. The first target was to map factors which take share in forming a positive client {--} nurse relation in emergency room care. The second target of my thesis was to map factors which take share in forming a positive nurse {--} client relation in emergency room care. Furthermore, five hypotheses were set. The first hypothesis was: ``Waiting time before treatment influences nurse - client relation.{\crq}q The second hypothesis was: ``Women are more willing to cooperate than men.{\crq}q The third hypothesis was: ``The shorter the client{\crq}s waiting time for treatment, the more willing s/he is to cooperate.{\crq}q The fourth hypothesis was: ``Emergency room nurse{\crq}s high stress influences her relation to clients.{\crq}q The fifth hypothesis was: ``A large number of clients waiting for treatment are a strong stress factor for nurses. The qualitative method with the anonymous questionnaire technique was used for the real status discovery. Two kinds of questionnaires were used. The patients{\crq} questionnaire contained 24 questions. The questions were closed ones and half-open ones - for amending of brief answers. The introductory questions were identifying ones. The other questions were focused on positives and negatives which are closely connected with visits in emergency rooms. Nurses{\crq} questionnaire contained 29 questions, which were closed ones and half-open ones - for amending of brief answers and one question was open one - for expressing of their own opinion. The introductory questions in the questionnaires were identifying ones. The other questions were focused on positives and negatives which are connected with providing care to patients who come into emergency rooms for treatments. Treated patients, emergency room nurses and ordination nurses in Písek, Strakonice and Brno were my research population. 200 questionnaires were distributed; 100 questionnaires were distributed to emergency room nurses and 100 questionnaires were distributed to patients who were treated in emergency rooms. Findings were illustrated in diagrams, which reflect the answers of nurses and patients. The discussion was confronted with technical bibliography. In the conclusion there are stated the summarised results of the thesis, corroborated or refuted hypotheses as well as possible suggestions how to influence positively the forming of interrelations between nurses and patients in emergency rooms.
Capacities rescue teams - EMS- in time
BOŽOVSKÁ, Petra
In my bachelor work I dealt with problems of medical rescue service and its medical emergency service rescue groups and with emergency rescue help and times within which members of these rescue services make their activity. Medical rescue service provides affected people with a professional pre-clinical urgent care where they were injured or where a sudden disorder happened. All this happen during their transport to other professional treatment and also during their forwarding to a health service. Members of rescue services provide affected people with pre-clinical urgent care. Members of rescue services of medical emergency service are a group of emergency medical help (EMH), medical emergency service (MES) and a group of air rescue service (ARS). The system of medical rescue service is made on the principle of a sequence and refilling possibilities of particular levels providing urgent pre-clinical care and on the principle of an organization of medical rescue service in a way so that the accessability of pre-clinical urgent care and its providing within 15 minutes from receiving emergency call except for the cases worthy special respect is ensured. The rescue system on the level of districts should be able to treat 50 affected people (in county boroughs up to 150 people) at the liquidation of consequences of exceptional events with a rise of mass medical casualties.
