Stress-strain analysis of a crane arm
Mora, Lukáš ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The content of this bachelor’s work is a summarization of types of tower cranes and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the crane arm of the crane type 150EC-B8 Litronic located on the Šumavská street in Brno. Analytical stress-strain analysis is calculated with equations of equilibrium using joint method in various types of loading of the construction with MAPLE software. Numerical calculation is executed on 3D model of the construction in software ANSYS. The aim of this bachelor work is the verification of the correctness and comparison results of analytic calculation with numeric calculation and evaluation of the results from a limit states and deformation standpoint.
Stress-strain analysis of Kozlov lookout tower
Winter, Josef ; Vaverka, Jiří (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is aimed at stress and deformation analysis of strut frame. The object of interest is lookout tower Kozlov close to the city of Česká Třebová in region of Ústí nad Orlicí in Pardubice Department. The main aim is to simplify 3D model of strut frame and its analysis. At the beginning I deal with history of lookout towers, theoretical introduction of bar, strut frames and limit states. Then follows modelling of 3D model with modified topology of bars and following calculation for different static loading and calculation for static determination. At the end numerical calculation was done to compare chosen model with analytic solution.
Napjatostně deformační analýza rozhledny Hraniční vrch
Novák, Tomáš ; Skalka, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on stress and deformation analysis of strut frame, which is based on lookout tower Hraniční vrch by the city Město Albrechtice. The main goal is to create simplified 3D model and his resulting analysis at various degree of static indeterminateness. The first part contains introduction to history of lookout tower, theoretical introduction to bar, strut frame and limit state, followed by calculation of three various static indeterminate level. In the last part is verification of analytic results by numeric method. Another goal is to create thesis, which will also give a guidence for future solver of more complex 3D strut frame.

Design and analysis of racing pneumobile frame
Jelínek, Josef ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Ranuša, Matúš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis reacts to the changes in the Aventics Pneumobil competition in the new season and proposes a solution to eliminate problems affecting drivability of the vehicle which were identified previously. Part of this thesis aims to analyze recent Institute of machine and industrial design at Brno University of Technology’s pneumobile vehicles frames and their problems. It also contains a whole new frame designing process. There are basic informations about the Aventics Pneumobil competition and its rules connected to this thesis. The process of designing a new frame requests a lot of input quantities of the vehicle. A lot of them were unknown and had to be set in order to gain the desired vehicle properties. The main part of the thesis is the construction part. A detailed CAD model is designed on the basis of chosen vehicle concept. It is then exported into a Finite element software for a strength analysis. All results are summarized in the conclusion and the next procedure is recommended.
