The subject of the thesis is the analysis of the strategic planning process, including analysis of the current programming documents of the South Bohemian Region and the Free State of Bavaria. The first part of the thesis defines the basic concepts of strategic planning and describes the methods and procedures applied in the creation of programming documents. The second part deals with the analysis of programming documents in chosen regions. Conclusion of this work evaluates the process of creation, negotiation and approval of programming documents and each document is evaluated from the viewpoint of content and formal qualities, including the shortcomings, which occured in described programming documents.

The aim of the thesis "Strategic urban development planning of the town Domažlice" was to evaluate entire process of preparation, creation and implementation of the strategic plan of the municipality. The theoretical part reviews scientific literature focused on strategic planning and the characteristics of the strategic plan. Practical part contains analysis of Strategic Development Plan of the town Domažlice.

Formation and strategy of the civic associacion Zakladno

This thesis deals with a strategy of non-profit organization on a concrete example of the civic association ZaKladno. ZaKladno is still relatively short-lived organization, which is still developing. Practice shows that for subsequent systematic and efficient development of the organization is need for a strategic plan. Creating a realistic strategic plan is the goal of this thesis. The theoretical part deals with the principles and legislation of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. The methodology of the theoretical part is based on a literature review. The practical part consists of a description of the current state of the cultural sector in the Czech Republic, principles of operation of civic association ZaKladno and especially a draft strategic plan for the association. The conclusion discusses the confirmation or refutation of hypotheses and outlines other problems to solve.

Protection of so-called "strategic" companies in the European context: Study 5.325

Studie popisuje nástroje na ochranu tzv. strategických společností a jejich slučitelnost s právem EU. Jde zejména o různá právní omezení volného pohybu kapitálu (např. zlaté akcie státu v privatizovaných společnostech, povinné schvalovací řízení před nabytím majetkového podílu ve strategické společnosti ze strany investora atp.), ale i o různé faktické nástroje (např. členský stát si ponechá ovládací podíl ve strategické společnosti, resp. realizuje investice do strategických odvětví prostřednictvím státního investičního fondu, tzv. sovereign wealth fund). Studie podrobněji popisuje právní úpravu ve Francii (dekret č. 2005-1739) a na Slovensku (zákon č. 493/2009 Z.z.) a dále uvádí přehled judikatury Soudního dvora (vč. rozhodnutí Soudního dvora ve věci tzv. "zákona Volkswagen", C-112/05 Komise v. Německo).
