Roofing of the summer house

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is to design and assessment of the load-boarding roof structure of a holiday house in the village of Nové Hrady, district of České Budějovice. It is about saddle roof with a slope of 20° above one-story building rectangular floor plan about dimensions of 7,5 m x 20,6 m. The structural system of the roof is made of a pair of wooden rafters made of grown wood, conected by a steel rod to a steel vertical. The peripheral load-bearing part under the roof structure are sand-lime walls and frontal wooden columns in the glass wall. The structural model was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 6.02. The software was used to determine the internal forces and judgments on the individual elements. The decisive judgments were verifies by manual calculation. Selected bolt or screw connections and the connection of the slab to the rafters were also resolved.
Implementation of the Roofing of the Stable for Cattle in Studenec

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is the elaboration of a construction technological project for the roofing of a cattle stable in Studenec. The work contains a technical report focusing on the installation of the roof structure, the construction situation with broader relations of transport routes, technological regulation for the roofing stage, item budget with area statement, site equipment design with technical report site equipment, time schedule, machine design. Furthermore, the work addresses the control and test plan, occupational safety. The last point of the thesis deals with the implementation of roofing of buildings with a larger span.
Návrh střešní konstrukce

This bachelors thesis deal with design of roof structure to an existing building. The work is focused on the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the most used roof coverings. In the course of the work a roof sheat is designed, where two selected roofs are applied and their thermal and technical properties, rain water retention and the minimum load bearing capacity of the roof structure are assessed. The result of the calculation are compared at the end of thesis, and a more suitable roofing is selected and constructively solved in the drawing part of the thesis. This thesis is conceived as a cross-selection of the technical properties of the roof covering and the roof scructure.

This bachelor thesis deals with the problematic of using solar power through rooftop-mounted solar systems in the South Moravian Region. The aim of this work is to analyze present situation of using rooftop-mounted solar systems in the monitored region, characterize barriers of development with using knowledge of the realized research (interviews) and then suggest possible measures for more intensive using of rooftop-mounted solar systems in the South Moravian region in the future.
Load-bearing structure of sport hall

The aim of the master thesis is design and check the timber construction of the sports hall in two variants. The first variant is a frame, which is formed by three steel columns. The roof structure is made from timber trusses, which is pin-supported beam above both fields. The second variant is a frame, which is formed by three steel-concrete columns. The roof structure is made from timber glulam beam of saddle shape, which is continuous over both fields. Spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by steel bars. The second variant is calculated in detail by hand and the structure drawings are attached. Input static models and auxiliary static models were created in SCIA Engineer 18.1.
Apartment house Novosedly

The proposed building is thus a apartment building with garages, which will be located in the village of Novosedly, in South Moravia, on two plots no. 5420/83 and 5420/84. The terrain on which the object is in a slight slope. The building of the block of flats is made of brick blocks, for the above-ground part and in the underground part it is lined with lost formwork. The roof structure of the building is arched from wooden beams.
Roof construction of extinguishing systems

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the existing reinforced concrete structure of the roof on the fire extinguishing facility. The analysis is performed using the Scia Engineer program. A new design is also proposed. Roofing is done with a ribbed board. Part of the thesis is also an analysis of the possibilities of solving ribbed boards in the Scia Engineer program.
The Roofing of The Sport Hall

This thesis presents the construction plan and assessment of a roof above a swimming pool. The main cantilever of the structure is a wooden parabolic beam with the span of 40 m and a 6 m camber that is jointly set in place via pin connection. The stiffness of the structure is secured by roof stiffeners. The assessment was carried out in adherence to applicable norms.

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of the roof load-bearing structure of the multifunctional sports hall in Vsetín, Zlín region. The structure was designed for dimensions of 76x35 metres. The aim of the work is to design and compare both designed alternatives made of timber and steel.
