Recommendations for the consumption reduction were based on the information found.
Vliv huštění pneumatik na spotřebu paliva a výkonnost traktorové soupravy
Čuba, Norbert
The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of tractor tyre inflation on fuel consumption, slip and tractor performance in off-road conditions. It focuses on machine output parameters such as tire slip and hourly fuel consumption. The actual measurement of these parameters was carried out at three different tire pressures and keeping the tillage depth constant. The result of the field measurements is a confirmation of the fact that lower tyre pressures result in lower wheel slip and, at the same time, lower machine fuel consumption. These results are tabulated and graphically presented.
Spotřeba palivového dřeva a dřevěného uhlí v domácnostech v okrese Kalomo, Zambijská republika
Boltižiar, Martin
The topic of the thesis was to establish the consumption of firewood and charcoal in the Southern Province of the Republic of Zambia. Data collection, field survey and questionnaire survey and collection of all background information was carried out in rural agricultural camps and in Kalomo town. Information on firewood and charcoal consumption in the area as well as socio-economic information on the inhabitants was obtained. It was found that an average rural household of 7 members consumes 62 kg of firewood per week, or approximately 19 kg of charcoal per household. The approximate annual household consumption is 3 217 kg of firewood or 997 kg of charcoal per household. Charcoal is produced in the countryside from local tree species and sold mainly in towns to residents who own a charcoal stove. All the data can be further used to establish fast-growing stands that would be used by local people in their area for regular logging or subsequent charcoal production and conservation of native tree stands.

Podskalská, Markéta ; Zimčíková, Eva (advisor) ; Kolmanová, Eliška (referee)
Analysis of vaccine utilization and spontaneous adverse events reports in influenza vaccine Author: Markéta Podskalská Supervisor: PharmDr. Eva Zimčíková, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and goal: Influenza is a contagious disease of the respiratory system. It is caused by influenza viruses and appears in annual outbreaks. The best form of influenza prevention is vaccination against influenza viruses on yearly basis. The vaccination has many benefits, but some side effects may appear as well. Goal of this thesis was to analyse and evaluate reports of side effects of influenza vaccination between years 2004-2017 and to evaluate the use of influenza vaccines from 2004 to 2022. Methodology: The Central Database of Adverse Events Reporting of the State Institute for Drug Control was used as the data source. Reports with the ATC code J07BB in the period from 2004 to 2017 were evaluated. Information about the patient, reporting person, the region where the notification was filed, the method of reporting and details concerning adverse events were analysed. These details included the number and severity of adverse effects, their predictability and final outcome. Data on influenza vaccine usage were provided by SÚKL....
Water footprint of consumption of the Czech households
Možíšová, Jana ; Ščasný, Milan (advisor) ; Turdaliev, Salim (referee)
Since the human society rises the requirements on environment it is important to find ways to mitigate the pressure. One of the possible important aspects could be consumption behaviour of individuals. In thesis we examine the water footprint connected to consumption of Czech households. Using the hybrid input-output analysis we compute the water intensities for domestic production and imported products of 90 product groups and connect them with household expenditures described for 2899 Czech households. In our analysis we use data for 2018 and describe the results separately for blue and green water footprint. The mean annual consumption of blue and green water is 214.3 m3 and 2544 m3 respectively per household member. The highest responsible category for total water footprint is category of food with the 74 %. This category has also the largest computed water intensity among the twelve consumption groups. Analysis also showed the water footprint is distributed unevenly through the households divided to deciles by expenditures. The lowest decile uses about 4 % of total water footprint in comparison to tenth decile consuming almost 18 %. By the linear regression of expenditures and water footprints we got the statistically significant elasticities varies between 0.48 to 2.71. Keywords Water...

Consumption of biologic drugs (biologics) in the Czech Republic Author: Veronika Farkašová Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Jozef Malý, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction: Biological treatment is modern alternative to chemotherapeutics especially in patients with difficult-to-treat diseases of autoimmune origin, as well as patients with other diseases as is cancer. They are heavily used in oncology for their wide range of indications. They are used as a monotherapy as well as in combination with traditional chemotherapy. Use of biological treatment can reduce the amount of treatment cycles of chemotherapy and reduce unwanted adverse effects. Objective: The aim of the diploma theasis was to analyze the consumption of biologigal treatment rituximab, bevacizumab, cetuximab and alemtuzumab. Methods: A retrospective analysis of the consumption of biosimilars rituximab, bevacizumab, cetuximab and alemtuzumab was performed from 1. 1. 2010 to 31. 12. 2020. The selection of specific biosimilars was made on the basis of their wide indication spectrum. Consumption data were obtained from the database of the State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL). Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis. Consumption, given in the number...

Hybrid motorcycles represent opportunity in reducing fuel consumption and emissions of motorcycles, but also in increasing overall performance parameters while preserving the original propulsion unit. The thesis deals with the design solution of a hybrid motorcycle and its simulation in various operating modes. The model is compared to a conventional motorcycle model, and the differences between both concepts are observed. Simulations have shown higher acceleration and lower fuel consumption in the hybrid concept for most tests, except for highway traffic. The largest difference in fuel consumption of hybrid motorcycle was evident in urban traffic, where the use of a hybrid motorcycle proved to be suitable.
Design of the on-board system for a motorcycle
Ševčík, Jan ; Benešl, Lukáš (referee) ; Juráň, Radovan (advisor)
This work deals with the design and construction of an on-board computer for a vintage Jawa motorcycle. The design combines measuring sensors of our own design and those commonly available on the market, a main control board of our own design and assembly without interfering with the structure of the motorcycle. The system is considered for mounting on the Jawa 250/592 motorcycle, with some parts from other motorcycles, allowing for easier fitting. ESP32 from Espresiff is used as a microcontroller, which is placed in the tank of the motorcycle and displays the measured data on the LCD display. The system also allows you to control the entire motorcycle, such as enabling starting or turning on the lights
