SBRA method and the development of its application
295 This paper turns attention to the potential of the simulation based reliability assessment method SBRA, considering especially the durability assessment of steel structures. A fully probabilistic approach is demonstrated using two examples. A steel component is exposed to time dependent effects of corrosion and assessment of the accumulation fatigue damage.

SBRA Concept in Corrosion Modelling and Inspection Planning
Korouš, Jan ; Marek, Pavel
The paper turns attension to the application of the SimulationBased Reliability Assessment Method (SBRA) in case of a structu-ral member exposed to tension and to corrosion. The probabilityof failure, as a function of time, is calculated using directMonte Carlo simulation.
Roadmap of the Transition to Probabilistic Simulation-basedStructural Reliability Assessment Method applicable in Design
Marek, Pavel
Transition from current semi probabilistic method to structuresreliability assessment method based on Monte Carlo approaches issubject of the colloquium. The paper indicates individual steps ofthe development of the SBRA method.
