The Use of Statistical Methods for Data Processing

The statistical method application of data processing is the study object of this thesis. The thesis is composed of two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with regression analysis, time series and financial analysis issue. The practical part draws the attention to the characteristic of a chosen company and analysis of selected economic indicators. These economic indicators are processed by the aid of regression analysis and time series.

The Use of Fuzzy Logic for the Evaluation of Supply Risk

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of the main suppliers of company MERTASTAV Ltd. and deals with the determination their risk level of cooperation. The aims of this thesis are design and create the model for effective evaluation of suppliers. During the creation of a mentioned model is used principles of fuzzy logics and the final model is processed in MS Excel and MATLAB. The result of this thesis is the clear instrument which is easy to use and also accelerates and improves selection of suppliers for the company.

Neo-Marxism and psychoanalysis as a source and inspiration of Frankfurt School

In my thesis I will pursue the ideological foundations of the Frankfurt School, a significant social philosophical group of the 20th century. Marxist and psychoanalytic basis will be reflected in conjunction with a critical theory of society and a phenomenon of culture industry. The purpose of this work is to present influences which formed a theoretical work of the Frankfurt School, its research in a modern society and a contribution to the so-called commodification of culture and art related to the expansion of mass culture.

Neolithic house in the Balkans - genesis and ethnoarcheological study

Thesis focuses on the house and its evolution in the Neolithic period in the Balkans. It describes the construction and internal organization of the buildings. Further it is focused on the way how the buildings were used by the former society and how the individual architectural structures influenced respective population. On the basis of available resources the Neolithic houses in specific areas in the Balkans are studied, including chapters which provide the general insights into this topic.

Gender stereotypes in different social strata

In my thesis I will deal male and female gender stereotypes in Czech society. I will outline differences between our society and the society of Tchambuli tribe, between which there will be clear differences in the understanding of male and female roles. I will focus especially on the stereotypes applied to the sphere of work and workplace (so-called male and female jobs) and on the stereotypes produced by mass media, especially advertisments. Into my thesis I will indude opinions of those who will comment on the problem of gender stereotypes, through replies to questions about gender, produced by myself. I will gather the opinions and attitudes usány the interview method. The goal of this thesis is to verify whether stereotypes in the sphere of work and workplace are noticek by the respondents, whether they identify themselves with these stereotypes and whether it is possible to verify different effects of these stereotypes, considering gender as well as other socio-demographic variables, such as age, education, etc.

Process management in the selected company

An analysis of processes in a selected company and a proposal for possible improvement in selected processes was the main goal of this diploma thesis. The "order processing" process in chosen company was analysed and optimized within this goal. This process was mapped in detail according to the individual sub-processes inside the monitored process, and an analysis was performed, including measurement, identification of weak points and a proposal for solutions leading to the required optimization. Outputs that can be presented to the company management and might serve as an input for optimization of the monitored as well as other processes, are the contribution of the thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with sociology of province through village Vedrovice placed in South Moravia. The area of sociology of province is quite extensive so the thesis is focused on issues of selected areas of villagers's life. Available sources of technical literature and literary overview of current knowledge in rural areas were valorized in the first part. The next part deals with the village itself. This part is processed through the study of documents and own empirical research. The issues between old-time villagers and new immigrant residents were examined by interviews and questionnaires. The results and the evaluation of hypothese are processed by graphs and charts. The last part includes suggestions and recommendations.

Historie a tradice litomyšlských školek a využití jejich výpěstků v regionu

This bachelor thesis is written on the history and traditional roots of ornamental and fruit nursery gardens in the Litomyšl area, with focus on the creation and further expansion of Okrasné a ovocné školky Litomyšl s.r.o. as a leader in the field of gardeing. The firm is located on the edge of the city of Litomyšl and is one of the largest ornamental and fruit nursery gardens in the entire Czech Republic. I decided to focus my thesis on blending the firms past with its present. I furthermore deal with the activities and operations conducted by the firm on a day to day basis. The nursery gardens were established in 1946 by the gardener Josef Peňáz, who directed the company until 1983. The expansion and development of the gardens was directly impacted by their successful market activities and the political upheavals in our recent past. After Mr. Peňaz's departure, the firm was transferred to Ing. Václav Truhlář, Ing. Michal Andrusiv and Oldřich Chadima, who direct the company to this day. The introduction of various species and varieties of plants by the firm had a direct impact on the gardening activities of the Litomyšl region that continue to this day.

Mladý člověk jako produkt vlivů sociálního světa

The bachelor thesis deals with social surroundings effects to a young individual. The conclusion work is divided for two parts; theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical goal is resume of researched issues and defining of the terms according to the expert source: surroundings and the influence to the young individual, family surroundings, school surroundings, intercultural differences and interpersonal relationships, life style and free time. Theoretical part deals with general characteristic which lean against on better understanding and mapping out surroundings effects, influence of surrounding factors to the individual during his life. Methods of the theoretical part are studying and using all of the available literature source, their comparison, analysis and synthesis. The goal of the practical part is ensuring of attitudes, values, problems, the self-life assessment and perspectives, types of the pupil's free time enjoying on the choosing high school. Method of the practical part is a questionnaire investigation. The questionnaire was sending to pupils of the choosing high schools in South-Moravian region. Detected data are evaluated by simple statistic methods shown with the graphs and tables. Detected data will help to recommendation for pedagogic practice, discuse and for final conclusion.

Another part of the work are used theoretical knowledge to a selected enterprice.
