Options adoption in the Czech Republic and child adaptation to society

Bachelor thesis is focused on the possibility of adoption in the Czech Republic and the child's integration into the new family and society. Theoretical bases closer to mastering the development from a historical perspective, kinds of adoption in the Czech Republic and the conditions for successful adoptions. The author introduces the reader to the actual course of the adoption process, described in various stages of the request for mediation to establish contact with the child. Thesis introduces the reader in foster care together with creation, types and financial aspects. Attention is focused on the amendment that gave priority to family care over institutional. The practical part evaluates the amendment, which occurred in the area of adoption 1. 1. 2014. It also describes the early days of the adopted child in the new family. It acquaints readers with the problems that foster parents frequently addressed in the child's adaptation to society. Target of this thesis is to evaluate the amendments that have occurred in the area of adoption 1. 1. 2014. Based on the responses to assess whether the amendments were a step in mastering good or bad. Any proposing other changes that would streamline the process of adoption. Analyze the process of integrating the child into society. Specify on what grounds can a child develop a sense of deprivation and negative behaviors that cause complex adaptation to the collective.
Seniors' position in society

The thesis Seniors´ position in society is focused on the social issues of age and aging in society. The aim of the thesis is to determine how generations (young generation, generation of middle-aged and seniors) perceives the seniors. The theoretical part of the thesis gradually explains the key terms that relate to the issues. Individual chapters are focused on the developmental stages of life, the demographic trends, the aging and age, the age and seniors, the quality of life of seniors, seniors and society, seniors and families and seniors and the state. In the practical part of the thesis is an analysis of statistical data with focusing on the demographic aging. Within the framework of empirical research was used qualitative method. In the practical part of the thesis the interviews with representatives of the young generation, the generation of middle-aged and seniors were analyzed. The analysis is divided into thematic units such as perceptions of aging, age and seniors, the perceptions of the quality of life of seniors, the leisure times of seniors, the society in context with old age, the media in context with old age, intergenerational relationships and family and Czech Republic's pension system. The results of the empirical research are summarized based on research questions.
Delinquents or activists, stepping into the world of squatting

The work is focused on the phenomenon of squatting, specifically on the process of socialization into this subculture. That is demonstrated on the examples of participants of this specific group of society. The aim is to take hold of human transformation, how a man becomes a squatter. This bachelor thesis is divided into several units; the first, theoretical part is focused on terminology, definition of subculture, squatting, its division and history. Also the Turner´s concept of communitas is introduced. In the following, practical part, the attention is aiming at the history, values and activities of Anticommercial cultural and social centre Klinika. The main characters from ASC Klinika are coming to the foreground and their testimonies, observations, opinions and life stories are becoming the object of our interest. That allows us to look deeper into the world of squatting, into its sunny gardens just as darker recesses, and draws us nearer to the genesis of new members of squatting community.
Methods of Employees Assessment in Selected Organization

The thesis deals with the methods of employees assessment which is the necessary functional part of every company nowadays. The major goal of this thesis is to identify and to evaluate actual methods of employees assessment in Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. Furthermore, the next goal is to make a proposal of eventual changes on the basis of founded info. The practical part of the thesis characterises in detail company Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. The thesis contains quantitative research consisted of question blank. This question blank had been handed to all employees of Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company], department of liquidation of life and non-life insurance. There is evaluated actual state and satisfaction of employees with methods of assessment, payments and motivation within the scope of 18 questions. Question blank is completed by qualitative research based on structured interview with 5 employees of Allianz pojišťovna, a. s. [Allianz Insurance Company, joint-stock company]. The qualitative research had been done for the purpose of the info completeness. On the basis of results of the research the concepts of changes in the area of methods of assessment, especially in the area of self assessment, whereas new formulary had been offered. Changes in salaries, payments for overtime work and provided bonuses were recommended as well.
Managerial skills

The topic of the bachelor thesis are managerial skills. The main goal is to find a right solution that would lead to improve the level of the store manager´s managerial skills. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical knowledge gained by study literature focusing on the explanation of terms such as management theory or management. The first part also concern with concrete terms and divisions of manager, for example managerial functions or managerial roles. The practical part is devoted to introduction of company Rösler Praha spol. s r.o. and to research of managerial skills in the store. The analysis was performed by own observation of the current store manager and in-depth interviews with manager´s superiors and subordinates. In the last part are evaluated analysis results and alternatives, which could lead to the improvement of managerial skills in the store, are suggested.
The Use of Statistical Methods for Data Processing

The statistical method application of data processing is the study object of this thesis. The thesis is composed of two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with regression analysis, time series and financial analysis issue. The practical part draws the attention to the characteristic of a chosen company and analysis of selected economic indicators. These economic indicators are processed by the aid of regression analysis and time series.
The Use of Fuzzy Logic for the Evaluation of Supply Risk

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of the main suppliers of company MERTASTAV Ltd. and deals with the determination their risk level of cooperation. The aims of this thesis are design and create the model for effective evaluation of suppliers. During the creation of a mentioned model is used principles of fuzzy logics and the final model is processed in MS Excel and MATLAB. The result of this thesis is the clear instrument which is easy to use and also accelerates and improves selection of suppliers for the company.
Neo-Marxism and psychoanalysis as a source and inspiration of Frankfurt School

In my thesis I will pursue the ideological foundations of the Frankfurt School, a significant social philosophical group of the 20th century. Marxist and psychoanalytic basis will be reflected in conjunction with a critical theory of society and a phenomenon of culture industry. The purpose of this work is to present influences which formed a theoretical work of the Frankfurt School, its research in a modern society and a contribution to the so-called commodification of culture and art related to the expansion of mass culture.
Neolithic house in the Balkans - genesis and ethnoarcheological study

Thesis focuses on the house and its evolution in the Neolithic period in the Balkans. It describes the construction and internal organization of the buildings. Further it is focused on the way how the buildings were used by the former society and how the individual architectural structures influenced respective population. On the basis of available resources the Neolithic houses in specific areas in the Balkans are studied, including chapters which provide the general insights into this topic.
Gender stereotypes in different social strata

In my thesis I will deal male and female gender stereotypes in Czech society. I will outline differences between our society and the society of Tchambuli tribe, between which there will be clear differences in the understanding of male and female roles. I will focus especially on the stereotypes applied to the sphere of work and workplace (so-called male and female jobs) and on the stereotypes produced by mass media, especially advertisments. Into my thesis I will indude opinions of those who will comment on the problem of gender stereotypes, through replies to questions about gender, produced by myself. I will gather the opinions and attitudes usány the interview method. The goal of this thesis is to verify whether stereotypes in the sphere of work and workplace are noticek by the respondents, whether they identify themselves with these stereotypes and whether it is possible to verify different effects of these stereotypes, considering gender as well as other socio-demographic variables, such as age, education, etc.
