Home should be a place where I live, where I feel safe, where I have privacy, where I can always return and like to return. It is my refuge from which I go out into the world every day. At home, I will find comfort, warmth, love, respect, understanding ... Having a home has been one of the basic needs of every human being since the beginning of humanity. It is possible to lead a full life only if it is fulfilled not only but also of this need. The analytical part of the work deals with the possibilities, needs and requirements of people for housing from the age of 60 and their application in architecture. The design of a residential building not only for seniors in the facility is part of the practical part. Combining several generations and functions in one place supports the creation of interpersonal relationships and the integration of seniors into society. In the building, there is a facility for the elderly connected with daycare for seniors, a dining room and a pensioners' club in connection with general rental flats for young families. The project is proposed for the municipality of Važec, located in the district of Liptovský Mikuláš in Slovakia.
BUSINESS PLAN FOR ESTABLISHING A PROTECTED HOUSING

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a specific business plan for a start up enterprise. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts related to entrepreneurship, business plan and legislative requirements related to business services in the field of social services. The practical part deals with specific business plan, company presentation, market analysis, marketing, operational and financial plan and at the end of the chapter also evaluation of the efficiency of the investment and the evaluation of the risks related to the business plan.
Comparison of Social Security Contributions for a Selected Company in the Czech Republic and Great Britain

The theoretical part of the thesis defined taxes and social policy generally. Next, the thesis is focused on social insurance, social security, and social services in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The company KOVO BUDISOV, s.r.o. is analysed in the practical part. Social security contributions are calculated according to Czech and British legislation and they are compared subsequently.
Business Plan for Business in Social and Health Services

Master´s thesis is a proposal for the establishment of trade in social and health services in the South Moravian and Olomouc regions. The work is based on theoretical knowledge of business in medically oriented services and the knowledge about the current state of this market, acquired in the analyses. The main analyzes are processed SLEPT, Porter's five forces analyses and SWOT. A summary of the key factors of business, identified through the SWOT analysis became the basis of the design, which is itself a draft business plan for the development of selected trades.
Help for families with children with developmental dysphasia

This bachelor's thesis, "Assistance to Families with Children with Developmental Dysphasia from the Perspective of Family Policy," addresses the current state of family policy with a focus on families with special needs. It closely examines the relationship with families having a member with the health impairment of developmental dysphasia. Through this work, existing tools and measures aimed at families with special needs are analyzed in contrast to their effectiveness in meeting the needs of these families. The thesis includes an overview describing the characteristic features of developmental dysphasia. This is followed by a description of current family policy measures that aim to mitigate the negative impacts on families with health-impaired members, with a specific emphasis on developmental dysphasia. Goals, stakeholders, and instruments of family policy are outlined within this context. The methodological section involves semi-structured interviews with parents of children with developmental dysphasia, providing a deeper insight into the actual needs and experiences of these families. The results encompass the outcomes of the analysis of current tools and insights gained from the interviews. Analysis of clients needs in low-threshold drop-in center SANANIM: Questionnaire survey

Background: Human needs encompass a spectrum ranging from fundamental physiological requirements, such as breathing and sustenance, to elevated needs like love and appreciation. While most individuals fulfill these needs through typical social interactions, certain groups, including those engaging in illicit drug use, seek assistance from institutions such as the SANANIM contact centre. The objective of this thesis is to ascertain the perceived needs of clients at the facility and evaluate the extent to which these needs are being addressed. These insights can contribute to enhancing existing services and introducing new ones where necessary. Another objective is to formulate a unique questionnaire suitable for consistently assessing the requirements of the facility's clientele. Methods: The instrument of data production was an original questionnaire, created specifically for the research, which was filled in with the respondent by the interviewer - PAPI (Pen and Paper Interviewing). Research Sample: The study involved 60 clients of the low-threshold center SANANIM who utilize the services provided by this facility. The main aim of given master thesis is to analyse the current situation of the implementation of the Smart City/Region concept in field of social services and health care services in Zlín region. The theoretical part of this thesis pays attention to the key theoretical concepts, which are essential for the understanding of the whole topic. The following analytical part of this thesis firstly analyses the role of the region in the process of implementation of the Smart City/Region concept. Secondly it aims to analyse the current situation of the implementation of the Smart City/Region concept in given field of social services and health care services within the Zlín region. At the end, the attention is given to the exploration, whether the Covid-19 pandemic could potentially influence the development of implementation of the Smart solutions within the given field. The analytical part of the thesis is based on the secondary information from the relevant methodical and strategic documents at the national and regional level. The significant sources of data are also primary information from the group interview with the 3 relevant representatives of the regional office of Zlín region and semi structured interviews with 2 relevant representatives of the social service organizations and 2 relevant representatives of the health care service organizations. Finally, the master thesis seeks to evaluate actual situation and practices of the implementation of the Smart City/Region concept in given agenda of social services and health care services. It seeks to identify the existing problems and barriers and tries to suggest the possible recommendations for further development of the implementation of the Smart solutions within the particular field of social services and health care services in Zlín region.
Support and development of social services for families with children in the locality of Hradec - Rokle

The bachelor thesis presents and examines social issues, social services and activities in the locality of Hradec-Rokle. Based on the conducted investigation, it analyzes the activities and services offered, the use of social services and the declared needs of service users in this location. Qualitative research in the locality determines the scope and development possibilities of the necessary social services. The development of services leading to the improvement of the living situation of the inhabitants of the given locality will be proposed.
