The technology of cultivation and fertilization hemp (Cannabis) and ways of utilization
JAROŠOVÁ, Markéta
Contemporary is Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) considered as a very promising plant whose parts can be used almost completely. Hemp is grown especially for fiber and seed. The plant is good biodegradable, so it causes no problems with waste disposal. The root system is deep and loosens the soil and prevents erosion. Hemp accumulate heavy metals from contaminated soils. To achieve the economic benefit are suitable fertile , deep soils with good nutrient supply and neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. Average seed yield in the Czech Republic is 0.6 t ha-1 and 6-7 t ha-1 stem. This study focuses on summarizing information about the cultivation, fertilization and the possibilities of using hemp. The first part is devoted to the origin, botanical characteristics, morphology and anatomy and principles of cultivation. The second part deals with the chemical composition, effective substances and use of cannabis in various industries. In this work was proposed five years crop rotation period for a variety Bialobrzeskie, grown for seed and stem. Than were selected pre-crops suitable for business without animal production and determined doses of nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and magnesium fertilizers and suitable harvest mechanization.

Vomáčka, Vít
This Bachelor's assignment discusses growing and the use of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.). The part of this assignment is devoted to taxonomical categorization of sowed hemp and its characteristics. This assignment in detail characterizes individual parts of the plant as well as the composition as a whole. It also includes a brief summary of different types of use of hemp products. The second part of this assignment describes ecological needs of growing hemp and its harvest in both, natural and man-made, environments, as well as the characteristics of its significant varieties. In the practical section, a research of the Czech market took place, which provided us with a summary of all available products made from hemp from the food industry and pharmaceutical industry perspectives. In the discussion, this assignment tries to evaluate current situation and a possible additional development regarding growing and use of hemp in the Czech Republic.
Charakteristika a možnosti využití rakytníku řešetlákového
Stuchlíková, Veronika
Bachelor thesis is focused on options of cultivating and processing of fruits of sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides), which is not fully appreciated even nowadays. It gives an overview of origins and spread, typical features and modes of reproduction. It further describes difficult harvest, characteristics of varieties, diseases and pests. Experimental part describes growing features of four varieties (Buchlovický 1, Hergo, Leicora, Vitamínová), which are situated in the research center of Mendeleum in Lednice. Subsequently varieties suitable for growing in the Czech Republic are recommended. Canned and other products were made of harvested fruits and evaluated by respondents. On the basis of the given score was found that the sea-buckthorn oil had the highest response of respondents and conversely, the sea-buckthorn fruit with garlic had the lowest response.
Hodnocení růstových a sklizňových údajů netradičního ovocného druhu - dřínu obecného
Soporský, Marek
This work is focused on the evaluation of productivity and growth and phenological phases in the planting of Cornelian cherry. The evaluation was conducted on the experimental plot ŠZP Žabčice. Refraction measurement and level of vitamin C were done in the laboratory of the Institute of Plant Breeding and Propagation. Obtained values were statistically processed and evaluated and were sorted into tables and graphs and subsequently discussed in the text of the thesis. Photographs were taken during observation. These values allow selection of the most suitable type of variety for cultivation and subsequent processing. Findings also allow selecting the variety with the largest fruit, variety with highest crop yields, varieties of fruits richest in vitamin C or variety with the largest bush growth. Jolico variety yields the largest single fruit while Vyšegorodský variety offers highest yield of crop. Highest content of vitamin C is found in Fruchtal variety. Vydubecký variety is suitable for a rapid wood growth. Cornelian cherry is a versatile plant that can find its application in landscaping either for its heavy and hard wood or for its fruit which tastes well and is nutritionally interesting. Plant's resistance to diseases and pests is also significant. Cornelian cherry is not yet very common as a fruit in our country, however; this can change not only due to better awareness but also due to new plant varieties.
