Vegetation diversity of abandoned settlements

In my bachelor thesis I am concerned with influence of abandoned settlement and historical land use on vegetation. I am interested in settlements of different age and type - from ancient settlements, medieval castles and villages to villages that were abandoned in modern times. I am also concerned in diversity, composition and development of plant communities and with influence on soils. I am also interested in the question of persistence of anthropogenic influence on landscape. Settlement and land use largely influence landscape. They alter diversity of vegetation, quality of soil and relief of landscape. These changes can be lasting or maybe irreversible. Nutrients are acumulated and pH is risen in abandoned settlements. Nitrophilous and ruderal species are also much more frequent than in ancient forests around. Human can enrich diversity of vegetation in landscape by his influence. Mutual comparison of influence between similar types of settlements in landscapes with different climate and sub-soil may be another direction in future research. Defunct places in the Karlovy Vary region and their mapping within ÚAP

The aim of this thesis is the design and verification of practical methods for evaluating the values of the territory in the form of remains (relicts) of extinct settlements in the landscape and their possible involvement in the current landscape and settlement structure. Within the described method will be proposed to the invol-vement of the acquired data into the structure of UAP (ORP and regions) and the proposal for the use of information obtained in regular updates PAM. This use im-plies a certain generalization of data, which will be described on the basis of practical verification of the selected area of the Karlovy Vary repents.

Typology of Urban Tissues Identified in Slovak Cities

The research project 1995 – 1996 was granted by RSS - Research Support Scheme, HESP - Higher Education Support Programme grant RS/HESP/1074/693/1995. A typology of "urban tissues" was developped. The "urban tissues", are middle-sized parts of the city, homogenous in their main quantitative characteristics - i.e. intensity of land use (COS, CES) and built-form height, defined in average number of stories (ANS, VyHL). The typologies were edevelopped fot both the collection of Slovak urban tissues identified by Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava research, and for a collection of Western Europe urban tissues.

Analýza současného stavu (1992) v obcích Ostrovačice, Chorušice, Lužec nad Vltavou, Vysoká a Želiv. U každé obce jsou uvedeny širší vztahy, demografická situace, jeho vývoj a charakter současného stavu, stav zeleně, funkční členění území, dopravní situace a technická vybavenost. Analýza je podkladem pro návrhy změn.

Tématem této diplomové práce je přesun sídla právnických osob v rámci Společenství. Cílem bylo zmapovat současnou komunitární úpravu společností a zjistit do jaké míry je v současné době možné, aby společnosti mohly přemístit své zapsané sídlo z jednoho členského státu do jiného bez nutnosti svého předchozího zrušení a likvidace. Stejně tak se věnuje dosavadní judikatuře ESD ohledně svobody usazování, která právní úpravu společností významným způsobem dotváří.
