The bachelor thesis is focused on the financial analysis of the company DECRO Bzenec. This analysis is done by means of selected methods. Based on the financial statements, a financial analysis is performed over six years, from 2009 to 2014. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part the theoretical background to a certain issue is analysed. The second part consists of the general characteristics of the company and financial analysis. The last part of the thesis is focused on some suggestions how to improve the financial situation of the company.

The master’s thesis is concerned with the evaluation of financial situation of a company. The first part of the work is focused on the presentation of activities of the company as well as on the determination of its present-day state. The master’s thesis uses mainly financial analysis methods whose theoretical basis is introduced in the second part, being followed by the practical application on the situation in the company. Based on the achieved findings, some steps are put forward to help to improve the financial condition of the company.

This bachelor´s thesis on „Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals for its Improvement“ deals with a financial analysis performed at PRIHODA Ltd. in years 2009 – 2013. The first chapter defines the aims of the bachelor´s thesis and information about the company. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical basis of financial analysis. In the third chapter there is already done the analysis of the financial situation of the chosen company and in the last chapter there are proposals to improve the problem areas that were identified in the chapter three.

This bachelor’s thesis is aimed at measurement and evaluation of the financial effectiveness of the state enterprise Lesy České republiky s. p., between the period of 2015-2018. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part delimits the characteristics of financial analysis, individual indicators and their formulas for calculations. Second part is analytical, where the values of the individual indicators are calculated using the formulas given in the theoretical bases. In the final part, based on the results, there are proposals to improve financial status of the company.
