Use of Head-mounted displays in risk management for machine tools

This diploma thesis deals with the design and technical possibilities of VR headsets and their application in mechanical engineering, specifically in the field of risk management in machine tools, using experience from other areas and history. The practical part of the thesis comprises a risk analysis carried out on a single selected machine (vertical machining center) by means of checklists and virtual technologies. The risk analysis techniques used are subsequently compared and evaluated. The results are then assessed and a proposal for the use of virtual reality in practice is put forward.

The topic of the master‘s thesis is the creation of methodology and subsequent security of equipment including data protection for a law firm. The thesis contains theoretical background, analysis of the current state of the company, on which the proposed solution is based. The proposed solution includes risk analysis and proposal of appropriate security measures including implementational recommendations for the elimination or minimization of identified risks.

The diploma thesis includes the assessment, analysis and preparation of proposals to improve the efficiency and security of the information system and the company itself operating in the field of translation and localization services. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical background related to the problem of the thesis. The second part is dedicated to the business, its analysis and the analysis of its internally developed information system. Based on the results of these analyses, the final part of the thesis will propose changes that will lead to the simplification of business processes and increase the productivity of the company.

This thesis deals withthe design, creation and implementation of web application in the corporate environment. The application has the task of partially automating the selected process and is used to create email ads based on data from eshop. Before the actual design and implementation, the theoretical foundation of the thesis is described and analyzes of the company are performed. The result is a custom made system that enables simpler and more efficient creation of mailings.

Cílem této práce je analyzovat, navrhnout a implementovat informační systém pro řízení zásob dermatologické kliniky. Práce je strukturována do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje teoretická východiska potřebná pro implementaci informačního systému ve formě webové aplikace. Dále jsou popsány různé analytické metody určené pro návrh a implementaci změny ve společnosti. Druhá kapitola analyzuje společnost a současný stav řízení zásob. Poslední část práce se zabývá návrhem, implementací a nasazením aplikace s využitím osvědčených postupů. Je analyzován proces změny, zhodnocena potenciální rizika a odhadnut harmonogram projektu. Dosažené výsledky jsou vyhodnoceny a je navrženo několik dalších vylepšení.

This thesis is focused on the assessment of the information system of a company operating in the construction industry and proposing changes. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first one, the theoretical background of the thesis is described, explaining the concepts that appear in the thesis. The next part is analytical, presenting and analyzing the current state of the company and the information system. The last part builds on the previous one and presents options for the development of the information system, including the selection of a new one. The chapter concludes by assessing the benefits of the changes.

Safety assessment of a multifunctional machining centre

The thesis deals with the safety of the multifunctional machining centre of TOS KUŘIM – OS, a.s. In order to assess the safety of the multifunctional machining centre and the safety of the workers involved in its manufacture and assembly, it was first necessary to familiarise ourselves with all the legislation, which includes EU harmonisation and OSH legislation. Harmonised legislation is followed by harmonised technical standards. Compliance with the basic safety requirements of the relevant harmonised standards is a prerequisite for meeting all the requirements of harmonisation legislation. One of the basic requirements before placing a product on the EU market is to carry out a risk analysis. This has been done by correcting and supplementing the risk analysis of the milling machining centre, on whose design the analysed machining centre is based, to meet the requirements of ČSN EN ISO 12100:2011. Particular attention was paid to the production and assembly stage, where several standard production and assembly procedures were selected. Flow charts were drawn up for these selected procedures and a risk analysis was carried out using the FMERA method, which was developed by modifying the FMECA method. For each risk, measures were proposed to ensure that it was reduced to an acceptable level.

Project Proposal of the Logistics Centre Establishment

The diploma thesis is devoted to the problem of project management. It is a project proposal of the logistics centre establishment in the company KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ, a.s. To develop the project proposal, there are used project management methods and techniques. The theoretical part deals with the basic methods, techniques and knowledge of project management, which are then practically used in the analytical and design part. First, the company is introduced, then the project opportunity validation and feasibility assessment is developed, and then the actual project design is developed. This part consists of time analysis, resource analysis, risk analysis and project cost analysis. Microsoft Project is used to develop the time analysis. And last but not least, the thesis includes the benefits of the proposed solutions.

Raw material planning processes

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis and design of the planning process in the company John Crane a.s. in Lutín. In the introductory theoretical part, the author describes the theoretical basis for the elaboration of a detailed analysis of the planning process, as well as for the creation of a design and implementation plan for a new solution. In the analytical part, the author describes the current situation in the company, then through multicriteria analysis compares specific planning processes and tries to reveal their weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. In the design part, the author describes the new planning process and uses the project to create a plan for its implementation in the company.
