Tracked vehicle for working on a slope
Těšický, Petr ; Urbánek, Michal (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the conceptual design of a remotely controlled tracked vehicle for work on a slope. In the first part, a short research analysis of remotely controlled tracked vehicles is performed. During the design of the concept itself, dimensional, force and power calculations are performed. The design of some components is based on these calculations. Strength calculations for certain components are performed in the last part of this work. The result is a conceptual design of a remotely controlled tracked vehicle.
Remote wireless control with encoded transmission
Polách, Matěj ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis deals with a wireless transmissions issues. It describes the device designing which communicate bidirectionally in free frequency band of 2.4 GHz. It deals with the modulation methods, coding and other wireless transmissions necessities and about prefabricated RF modules properties. It solves voltage level shifting which is essential for SPI communication between microcontroler and module.
Design of electrical travel of reaper`s drive unit
Otoupalík, Jan ; Černý, Michal (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of electrical travel for universal mowing machine, which will be controlled remotely. Designed travel has independent wheel drive, the maximum speed of 10 km per hour and can be used in the terrain with a slope of 30°. The thesis deals with the determination the parameters of the travel, design of the possible electrical drive units and design with respect to the stability of the device. Another part of the thesis deals with the design of the travel and describes particular parts of the travel.
10 port GSM relay switch with GUI
Bartulec, Tomasz ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Janovič, Filip (advisor)
System hardware and software design for a GSM switch with ten switching outputs, controlled via SMS. Description of used GSM module and its properties, feasibility and requirements, design and description of supply circuits for module outputs to relay outputs decoding, plug-in realisation of outputs. GSM module application software creation, remote SMS control requests implementation, sender's phone number check and information about completed requests by call-backs. Adding AT command to set up device. Development of web server providing control of switch throught Internet browser, solving communication between server and device, and data management. Testing of created SW and evaluation of final design from aspects of usage.
Jabber Bot Remoted by REST API
Stískala, Viktor ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the implementation and use of Jabber bot controlled via REST API. The application is designed to meet the minimal demands on system resources, extensibility and scalability thus providing the ability to accept connections from an unlimited number of users. The work also contains a brief characterization of XMPP protocol, which is the cornerstone of the entire application. In subsequent chapters is described the implementation of a web application demonstrating the bot behavior and also the possibility of further extensions.
Wireless Control of Electronic Devices Using Mobile/Embedded Device Using WiFi
Marek, Petr ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to design and implement an automated home system using Wi-Fi. The whole system was built on the Raspberry Pi and ESP8266 platforms, CoAP was chosen as the communication protocol. The resulting solution works in the local network and also over the Internet. It includes the use of several types of sensors and the ability to control the outputs of the ESP8266 modules. The system supports simple automation based on values of sensors and set timers.
Computer Remote Control Using Cell Phone
Kolařík, Jan ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
The result of my work is an appilcation, which enables to control videos and music by a cell phone, which has an operating system Android 2.1. The application is divided into two parts, the server, which runs on PC, and the client, which runs on the cell phone. For description of managing the applications is used JavaScript.
Robot Controlled by PIC Microprocessor Unit
Heřman, Petr ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes design of a cheap robot. It includes implementation of firmware of low level control unit based on microcontroller PIC. The firmware drives motors, gains sensors data and communicates with the high level control unit. Furthermore the thesis presents realisation of connection to the robotic operation system ROS and its standard structures allowing usage of existing packages for the robot teleoperation and displaying sensor data on the remote computer. The thesis finally reports experiments with the robot. The constructed prototype is the model of the robotic lawn mower, however the whole solution has universal usage.
Computer Remote Control Using Cell Phone
Řeháček, Prokop ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of remote control application using Bluetooth wireless technology. The work introduces a modern Android operating system and software development for this system. Application of remote control consists of parts: client for Android OS and server for GNU/Linux. The client was implemented in Java and the server has been created using the Qt toolkit and C++. Software development is divided into parts: design, implementation and testing. The result of this thesis is software that can control multimedia programs for audio and video files.
Use of mobile platforms Android for instruments control
Macek, Michal ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The present work describes current trends and modern methods using mobile devices to operate laboratory equipment and subsequent measurements. The main objective is create application for mobile devices running on Android system, which will be remotely controlled and measured with instruments in the laboratory. Practical activities are focused on programming mobile application that can remotely laboratory device contact, set for different types of measurements supported device and then read the measurement data from the device to a mobile device.
