Ethics of Emmanuel Lévinas
HUŠEK, Jakub
The thesis is called Emmanuel Lévinas Ethics and its aim is to explain the ethical concept of this original French philosopher. The first part of the thesis is focused on important influences that were important for Lévinas' philosophical work. The next part of the thesis deals with dialogical personalism as a philosophical direction into which Lévinas is most often classified. The third and most important part deals with the motives that led Lévinas to the elaboration of his ethical theses and subsequently parts of these theses are processed. It turns out that the basic aspect of his theory is the social relationship of the 'I' with the Second, through which the path to transcendence leads .Lévinas' conception is considered as a sort of ethical turn in philosophy and can be considered as a return to man. Properly conceived ethics based on respect, Levinas considers being "prima Philosophia".

The main idea of this bachelor thesis is to close the phylogenetic relation of Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens species issue. There are researched findings directly deducing from fossils (for example morphological), but also findings, which can be only speculated from fossils with certain possibility (for example sociological). In conclusion there are given findings meaning similarity, but also difference of both species and in view of these findings there it is analyzed, how much are both species relative and how much they are be classify as one genus. Key words: phylogeny, relation, Homo neanderthalensis, Homo sapiens, morphology, sociology
Pre-primary education: relations between kindergarten and family
Konrádová, Kateřina ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Hejzlarová, Eva (referee)
This diploma thesis concerns the topic of pre-primary education in the Czech Republic with a special focus on the school-family relations. The general aim of this study is to examine and describe the relations between kindergarten (principals/teachers) and family (parents of children) in the contemporary reality of these schools. Moreover, this text deals with the relations between mentioned stakeholders from the perspective of partnership and accountability which constitute its theoretical background. The objectives are fulfilled via qualitative research, particularly twelve semi-structured interviews with principals/teachers of public kindergartens, and analysis of relevant public policy documents. Based on the qualitative research among these respondents, it concludes that the relations between the actors involved correspond more to the concept of accountability than partnership. The text also indicates that accountability and partnership are rather contradictory concepts. The principals/teachers feel accountable to the parents and they also declare very strong responsibility towards the children themselves. The research findings also show in more detail the discrepancy between the strongly reflected interest of respondents in a partnership and its absence, with a particular attention paid to the reasons...
Exhibit space
Marxová, Lenka ; Uhl Skřivanová, Věra (advisor) ; Bláha, Jaroslav (referee)
This diploma thesis extends the theme of bachelor thesis, in which alternative site specific exhibition spaces, called "independent galleries", in the Czech Republic were observed and described in terms of motivation and the reasons for their establishment. The diploma thesis focuses on the study of specific mainly alternative exhibition possibilities of contemporary art and on a description of the contemporary phenomenon of exhibition space abroad regarding the Czech context. These findings are developing into its own site-specific art activity in public space, which is then transformed in educational structure and implemented with the students of a selected high school in Prague in public spaces around the school. The educational part of the thesis is complemented by a qualitative research, which helped to capture mediation specifics of the topic in the educational process.
Exploiting Structures in Automated Planning
Kuckir, Ivan ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Chrpa, Lukáš (referee)
This thesis focuses on improving the process of automated planing through symmetry breaking. The aim is to describe symmetries, which are often observed by human programmers, but haven't been properly theoretically formalized. After an analysis of available research, there are new definitions of symmetries proposed in context of classical planning, such as state equivalence, T1 automorphisms and more general automorphisms of constants. Several theorems are proved about new symmetries. As a result, an algorithm for detecting a special symmetry class is proposed, together with a method of exploiting such class during planning. Experimens are made to show the effect of symmetry breaking on the performance of the planner. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
