Maříková, Irena ; Jankůj, Miroslav (advisor) ; Střítecký, Rudolf (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to make the strategic analysis of the specific medical device in relation to quality of health care from the view of its patients. In this thesis are used selected analysis instruments of the strategic management. For finding of the quality of the health care, which the medical device provides, I used investigation through questionnaires. Information I gained through these questionnaires I have evaluated and analysed this data. The medical device I have chosen doesn't wish to be named in my thesis so I will respect the wish of its management. This hospital is located in The Central Bohemian Region, which is also its founder. This institution provides inpatient and outpatient care. The mail strength of the hospital is its employees and their human potential. On the other hand one of the serious weaknesses is the poor marketing productivity. My thesis will be closed with appropriate recommendations for the hospital which will be based on my analyses. The intention of these recommendations is to help the hospital in its future development. My thesis goes from the theoretical part (which explains the issue) and fallows with the practical part.
Risk Management in Selected Health Facilities
JÍNOVÁ, Jana
Healthcare risk management consists of continuous consideration of potential adverse situations and their prevention. In this sense, healthcare facilities consider any source of uncertainty to be a risk which must be eliminated or, at least, reduced. International studies show that up to 70% of adverse events could be prevented. Reasons for observing various types of adverse events may differ in individual healthcare facilities. However, most adverse events are observed in an effort to prevent their consequences upon patients' health.

TESAŘOVÁ, Marie
The bachelor thesis deals with the Long-term care for the elderly. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I acquainted reader with the concept of aging, age and what its types are distinguished. I also mentioned the changes in the age and species of the needs of seniors. Since the theme was the need to include in the theoretical part of the concept of long-term care and what its types are. In the practical part I examined how long-term care users are satisfied with the level of care provided by the qualitative research method. To collect data, I used a form of questioning and interviews were conducted with ten communication partners who are momentary users of long-term care. These users I chose the quota sampling, the essence of which is to establish a certain quota and the subsequent withdrawal compliant research file. My quota in this case was the age of users (over 65 years) and gender, that percentage was well represented in both research file (3 women and 2 men). Interviews lasted between 40 60 minutes and was selected the technique of semi-structured interview. The questions need to get data have been divided into four main headings. The research was conducted in six long-term care facilities, three of which were social system and three of health. In the research, the research questions were determined to have us closer to client satisfaction. The aim of this thesis was compare the social care system for the elderly, the health system. The operational objective was to map the situation of seniors in facilities to assess their quality of care and assess the situation at the end whether the social beds that are part of the health facilities in the event of cancellation can be replaced beds consequential or long-term care.
Culture safety of medical devices and pacient safety
ŠTĚRBOVÁ, Denisa
The quality issue of provided health care is the topic which is constantly getting more attention. In this area there is always even probably will be always - something to improve. The patients´ safety in healthcare facilities is affected by the so-called culture of safety. The research was conducted in six medical institutions of the South Bohemian Region, though seven were originally planned. However, I was not given the data here, probably due to the long term incapacity of the respondent. The research was focused precisely on the area of care quality and patient safety. A mixed method research (qualitative and quantitative) was deliberately used in this task. The aim was to map the most common causes of adverse events and then, based on the causes, to propose possible arrangements to prevent the occurrence of the causes. For this purpose five research questions were established. The outcomes obtained were processed into tables, plus the graphical representation of some was accompanied. Then, in the "discussion" chapter, the results were compared and analyzed in more detail.
