Assessment of speech signal quality
Tuleja, Peter ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This paper discusses methods for evaluating the quality of the speech signal. Briefly describe the subjective methods for determining the quality of the speech signal. From subjective methods the pair-wise comparison and MOS score are presented. Objective intrusive methods are described in more detailed way - namely methods of the segmental SNR evaluated in time domain, method of the segmental SNR evaluated in the frequency domain and frame normalization method which uses LSE based estimator. At the end of this paper is described an experiment, in which the aforementioned methods are compared and than statistically evaluated.

The next chapter describes the method to determine the fingerprint image quality and regards with this method used in the SDK from Innovatrics in detail. The third chapter provides detailed acquaint with each step in enhancing the image using a method based on Gabor filter. The final part is devoted to the experimental results. It is generally difficult to create a method that would enhancement any fingerprint. Therefore, it would be appropriate to use the program to tune this method for a particular type of fingerprint or for a specific scanner.
Merging Tasks with Non-Interfering Requests for the System Baker
Kovařík, Michal ; Fiedor, Jan (referee) ; Holík, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design a format for entering parameters and requirements of individual tasks intended for the Beaker system and to design a program that merges tasks defined upon input based on elimination of possible collision requirements into collection of tasks that can be run together. The output format should be acceptable by the Beaker system. The thesis describes installation of the operating system on which collision requirements are defined. The thesis describes how to specify and run tasks in the Beaker system. The results of the program testing are shown in the thesis' conclusion.
Poka Yoke system for production oversee of CVS
Klabal, Petr ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the Poka Yoke system, which is used to achieve zero defects and limitations of quality control. There are different types of mistakes, of which the most common mistakes are caused by the operator. Using the method Poka Yoke it is possible to propose such measures to eliminate mistakes. In cooperation with IMI International s.r.o. company, a division Norgren CZ and led by Production Engineer Petr Štohl and Product Design Engineer Ondřej Kubernát I focuses on the assembly of CVS low valve. In this assembly I monitor to operator, who can make the different mistakes in the individual steps, which may negatively affect the function of CVS low valve. I evaluate the severity for each mistake and for the most serious of these mistakes I suggest the possibility of checking the work of the operator that would lead to its discovery.
