The diploma thesis deals with the financing and management of investment activities in the municipality. Describes the public administration of the Czech Republic and possible sources of municipal financing, including subsidy programs. It analyzes the EU and CR subsidy policies. The thesis analyzes a specific municipality, including a financial site, characterizes the investment project in the municipality and assesses its management.
Managerial preparation of the Construction of streetworkout playground in Bojnice

The diploma thesis deals with the management of the construction of street workout playground in the town of Bojnice. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of public administration, construction company and communication. The practical part consists of verifying the validity of the five hypotheses by means of a questionnaire, selecting a suitable land and a specific place for future construction, analyzing the Czech and Slovak market with companies dealing with the construction of street workout playgrounds, analyzing the necessary legislation, my own street workout design and comparing three bids from specific businesses. The result of the thesis is a comprehensive background for the management of the town of Bojnice, which will serve to define the funds for this project.

Markéta Fraibišová Abstract This diploma thesis deals with education of specialists of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic in the capital city of Prague. The Labour Office of the Czech Republic, as an administrative authority with nationwide competence, has its own educational system, which includes both regular and project staff. Employee education program is driven by direct leaders who identify learning needs, assign employees to training events and evaluate learning outcomes. The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose a modification of the educational system for specialists of the Czech Labour Office in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on adult education, education management and training of public administration employees. The practical part of the diploma thesis is based on questionnaire survey, interview and internal documents analysis. The Thesis deals with the quality management methods based on Total Quality Management principles and their use in Czech public administration practice. It tries to answer questions about the quality management methods and tools which are used in the practice of the public administration. The main questions are: What is the current status of quality management, what is its essence and what factors it influences. Because the quality management methods are based on the business process management the Thesis also deals with this concept and its application to the public administration practice.
The Formation and Nature of the Relations between the Government and Non-profit Organizations Case Study of Meta o.p.s.

The goal of this paper is to describe the relationship between a non-governmental organisation and the government. The paper is a case study of the non-governmental organization Meta o.p.s. which works in the field of integrating foreigners and focuses on the issue of educating pupils who speak various mother tongues. The paper deals with the development of relationships, the roles within these relationships the organization fulfils with regards to the government, and the influence these relationships with the government have on the organization's goals and development. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the persisting barriers which prevent these relationships from being created and developed. The relationships between Meta o.p.s. and the government are observed on individual levels of the public administration (national, regional, municipal). The paper consists of 4 parts. The theoretical part introduces basic theoretical starting points, namely models of relationships between the government and non-governmental organizations, and the roles fulfilled by non-governmental organizations in the society. Media communication in state administration: Ministry of education, youth and sports of the Czech Republic. Case study.

The thesis is a case study dealing with the media communication of a public institution, in this case the communication of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The analysis is limited to the period of the first 100 days of the new minister's (Marcel Chládek) work and to selected printed periodicals. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the communication of the department and to evaluate its effectiveness. The work also includes the specifics of the period preceding the establishment of the new government, as well as Marcel Chládek's previous activity in relation to his work as the head of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. Besides, the thesis deals with the public administration communication theory, marketing and public relations within this sphere.
Europeanization of national policy on the case of the Civil Service Act in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis is a case study dealing with the role of the European Union in the adoption of the Czech Civil Service Act in 2014. The author follows the question why the Act was adopted ten years after the Czech Republic joined the European Union. The first part of the thesis deals with the European administrative area and individual models of public administration in Europe. It also discusses the use of various forms of influencing the policies of the member states with different instruments. Further, the work analyzes the development of the service law in the Czech Republic and examines the strategies and approaches of the main actors in the legislative process. In order to find out how the issue was framed by political actors, the individual verbal speeches at the plenary sittings of the Czech Parliament are examined. In the last part, the findings are generalized to represent individual strategies and the dynamics of their change. In order to respond to the research goal, the data is interpreted on the basis of the Multiple Streams Framework, demonstrating a change in the status quo in the field of public service performance regulation.
