Automatization of method of surface structure measurement by means of reflection mode digital holographic microscope.
Vacula, Daniel ; Šerý, Mojmír (referee) ; Lovicar, Luděk (advisor)
Reflected-light digital holographic microscope developed at IPE FME BUT uses off-axis holography principle and low spatial and temporal coherence illumination. Microscope allows reconstruction of the image amplitude and the image phase, which can be handled in real time. The only limiting factors are imaging speed of the detector and computer performance when processing holograms. Reconstruction of image phase and amplitude allows high-resolution profilometric measurements in the vertical axis direction. This thesis deals with the automatization of profilometric measurement method proposed in [2]. Proposed method uses the combination of the image phase and the image amplitude for the measurement of specimens with surface structure the vertical size of which cause the uncertainty of the image phase by a factor of 2pí. Futher the thesis deals with the construction design of the illumination system of the microscope and its realization together with experimental verification of functionality of proposed method automatization.
Study of optoelectrical properties of organic semiconductor thin film layers of phtalocyanines
Miklíková, Zdeňka ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on the study of optoelectric properties of thin layers of organic materials based on phthalocyanines, which can be used as an active layer of photovoltaic cells. Especially are studied the properties of the thin active layers of PdPc and PdPc + IL on the glass or ceramic substrates with aluminium contact, which are prepared by material printing here. On the prepared samples were first measured current-voltage characteristics in the dark and in the light and then were measured impedance spectrums in the dark. The received results will be used to improve the properties and structures of photovoltaic cells.
Optimization depozition variables during material printing of titania coatings
Mlčkovová, Hana ; Králová, Marcela (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
This thesis studies the effect of conditions in the printing material layers of titanium dioxi-de sol-gel formulations for the print properties of the resulting films – TiO2, which were pre-pared from a precursor of titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP). Thin films were deposited on the printing material soda lime glass and the layer thickness was controlled by repeatedly apply-ing. Prepared films were subjected to observation under an optical microscope, and the thic-kness of the layers was measured by mechanical profilometry.
Testing of multimodal holographic microscope in reflection mode
Kachtík, Lukáš ; Slabý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křížová, Aneta (advisor)
The thesis is focused on testing of reflection mode of Multimodal holographic microscope constructed in cooperation with TESCAN company. The assessment of axial and lateral resolution, verification of axial intensity response and documentation errors and deficiencies found while measuring are included in the testing procedure. In the conclusion, the Multimodal holographic microscope is compared to an atomic force microscop. A proper understanding of microscope operation and a formulation of an adjustment procedure were essential components of this work.
Optical properties of protective emulsions
Valasová, Denisa ; Veselý, Michal (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is aimed to the study of optical properties of protective commercially available emulsions. Chosen emulsions should be responsible for sun protection. They also may be used in cosmetic industry. In the beginning of the thesis, there are defined theoretical features of emulsions and their interaction with UV radiation. Methods which are used to describe optical properties could be found in this section too. The optical properties were measured in thin layer films, in order to simulate emulsions applied on the human skin. UV-VIS spectrophotometry was mainly used to study the optical properties. The obtained results could serve, purely hypothetically, like sun protective tests of chosen emulsions.
Study of electrical and dielectric properties of ionic liquids
Maráčková, Lucie ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on a study of electrical and dielectric properties of ionic liquids in the form of solution and thin layers. The values of breakdown voltage have been determined from current-voltage characteristics in solutions. Frequency dependencies have been also observed and used for calculation of values of parallel conductivity and capacity of ionic liquid. It was found that solutions is contained by model with one parallel combination of conductivity and capacity. Thin layers have been created by mixing up PEDOT:PSS with two ionic liquids: 1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate. These layers have created electrochemical battery as is evident from current-voltage characteristics. Frequency dependencies are more complex, a model contained two or respectively three parallel conductivities and capacities which have been influenced by PEDOT:PSS and by ionic liquids characteristics.
Review of the topographic and profilometric methods developed in the Joint laboratory of optics in Olomouc
Rössler, T. ; Mandát, Dušan ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
The presented paper is dealt with the methods of the optical 3D measurement of the shape of objects. Generally, optical methods are employed especially for the possibility of contact-less measurement. The presented mehods are the shadow and projection moiré topograpy and the computational, Fourier and stereoscopic profilometry.
Phase analysis using Fourier transform profilometry
Mandát, Dušan ; Rössler, T. ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
The profilometry method used here is the Fourier-Transform Profilometry Method that was originally published by Takeda in 1982. The geometry of the experiment is very similar that used in Moiré Topography, but the advantage of this method is only one image of the projected grating is necessary to produce the resulting object´s fringes.
Image data analysis of 3D topography
Mandát, Dušan ; Nožka, Libor ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
This article is about 3D scanning topography. It is a new optical method that use the detection of laser trace projected on diffuse reflecting surface.
Profilometry by means of white light interference
Pavlíček, Pavel
Profilometry by means of white-light interference is a suitable method for measurement of topology of rough surfaces. This contactless optical method measures the height profile with an uncertainly of about 1ćm.
