This thesis is focused on blood and urine analyses of runners after the competition. It describes the principles of analysis and laboratory testing not only in laboratories, but also in terrain conditions. The thesis includes statistical testing and evaluation of hematological and biochemical parameters. With the use of Spearman correlation coefficient are determined the relations between the parameters. The goal of the thesis is finding a way to predict biological parameters by using a group of other parameters. In the practical part of the work is described the algorithm for prediction with Neural network Toolbox the network testing results and other ways to improve the prediction algorithm.
Intelligent Music Player for Android
Tomášek, Michal ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalmár, Róbert (advisor)
Today's market is full of different kinds of music players. However there is no music player using prediction, which would be able to work with usual usage and in real time. This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a music player with implemented prediction. The creation of high quality architecture for this application and the choice of appropriate prediction algorithm are emphasized. At first, the category of methods of machine learning and afterwards the algorithm are determined. The final prediction algorithm is divided into a several sections, therefore it is necessary to pick or create a solution for all its parts. The outcome of this project is the music player for Android OS which would be able to predict and learn from a user interaction in real time.

The capability to be able to determine the future progression on the worlds stock exchange is an important issue, which has become discernible in the last decades. An important role of this progression lies within the fast advancements in computerized technology.Aforementioned document describes a mechanism used for prediction of the future price of a certain stock. The strategy of trading is build upon this mechanism, and the core of this prediction system is an artificial neural network. Inputs used in this network are indicators derived from technical analysis. This trading system was implemented into historical trades and successfully tested.
Latency aware deployment in the edge-cloud environment
Filandr, Adam ; Hnětynka, Petr (advisor) ; Bednárek, David (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to propose a layer on top of edge-cloud, in order to provide soft real-time guarantees on the execution time of applications. This is done in order to satisfy the soft-real time requirements set by the developers of latency-sensitive applications. The proposed layer uses a predictor of execution time, in order to find combinations of processes with, which satisfy the soft real- time requirements when collocated. To implement the predictor, we are provided with information about the resource usage of processes and execution times of collocated combinations. We utilize similarity between the processes, cluster analysis, and regression analysis to form four prediction methods. We also provide a boundary system of resource usage used to filter out combinations exceeding the capacity of a computer. Because the metrics indicating the resource usage of a process can vary in their usefulness, we also added a system of weights, which estimates the importance of each metric. We experimentally analyze the accuracy of each prediction method, the influence of the boundary detection system, and the effects of weights. 1
Usefulness of habitat suitability models in research of orchid spatial distribution
Linyucheva, Anastasia ; Kindlmann, Pavel (advisor) ; Šímová, Irena (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to summarise information about use of the habitat suitability models with a focus on orchids modelling. Habitat suitability modelling is used to study the relationship between the occurrence of the species and the environmental factors of its habitat. Modelling orchid species is especially useful for modelling of rare and endangered species, it can accurately predict the occurrence of different species under future climatic conditions and in non-native localities. Appearance of mycorrhizal symbiotic fungi is a specific factor affecting distribution of most orchids, but it is very problematic to include it in modelling. Also, there is an uncertainty about an impact of this factor on orchid distribution. Results of different modelling methods are sometimes controversial, this issue is studied, but there are no such studies in orchids modelling. Keywords: Orchids, spatial distribution, models, distribution, prediction
Prediction of Selected Parameters of Rotational Kinematics Pairs of Machine Tools
Marek, Tomáš ; Šooš, Ĺubomír (referee) ; Kolář, Petr (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The dissertation thesis is used as a methodology for prediction of selected parameters of rotational kinematic pairs of machine tools. The motivation for its writing has been continually increasing requirements for parameters (performance, accuracy, static and dynamic stiffness) of machine tools. The methodology takes into account the availability of suitable measuring devices and description of the design of rotary kinematic pairs. It will be useable for predicting the behavior of rotational kinematic pairs, even at the design stage by applying results to the machine design. The work is processed so that first is used a system approach to suggest methodology for prediction of the behavior of rotary kinematic pair in CNC machine tools, planning measurement strategy and verifying the results, including applications for specific kinematic chain of the selected machine. Based on this system approach and the resulting methodology, the measurement of the rotary kinematic pair was performed. The results of the system approach and measurement are generalized in the form of recommendations for designers of machining centers, allowing to increase the accuracy of the rotational kinematic pair.
Analysis of circulating markers in patients with solid tumors
Buranovská, Katarína ; Souček, Pavel (advisor) ; Němcová, Vlasta (referee)
Circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and its tumour-derived circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) fraction are considered an innovative prognostic and predictive biomarker in oncological diagnostics. Many studies have demonstrated higher levels of cfDNA concentration and integrity, as an indicator of the amount of ctDNA in cfDNA, in body fluids from patients with cancer diseases in comparison with healthy individuals, which suggest its potential as an effective biomarker for monitoring of the tumour dynamics. This study focused on optimisation and validation of measurement methods later used for analysis of cfDNA concentration and integrity in blood samples from patients with four different solid cancers. Two different commercial isolation kits have been tested in plasma and serum samples. Quantitative real-time polymerase reaction (qPCR) and PicoGreen dsDNA assay were optimized to effectively quantify low concentrations of cfDNA, subsequently compared to each other and to droplet digital PCR assay tested on selected samples. The concentration and integrity of cfDNA from plasma samples of breast, ovarian, colorectal and pancreatic cancer patients were evaluated. Higher amounts of cfDNA were obtained by the QIAamp Circulating Nucleic Acid isolation kit (Qiagen) in comparison to Plasma/Serum Cell-Free...
Comparison of alternative league formats in european football
Pešková, Tereza ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Kolmistr, Martin (referee)
Title: Comparison of alternative league formats in european football Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyse play - offs of chosen european league formats. The other aim is to make a prediction about czech league. Methods: A method of comparison was used in this thesis. A placement of each team before play - offs was compared to a placement of the same teams after play - offs. After that, there was a comparison if play - offs have more impact on championship round or on relegation round. Based on conclusions from these comparisons we have made an estimate of development in Czech league. Results: We discovered that play - offs have more impact on teams which played relegation round. In most of analysed seasons play - offs did not change the winner of the league and neither helped a lot of teams to enter European championships. We estimate that play - offs of Czech league will help more second league teams to promote to first league. Keywords: football, tournament systems, league, prediction
