Evaluation of factors that influence brain drain and potential outflow of future universitz graduates of medicine from the Czech republic

This thesis is focused mainly on the exploration of tendencies of undergraduate medical students to labor migration from the Czech Republic and on factors, that influence their decisions. The theoretical part contains basic knowledge, terms and characteristics, concerning the migration and brain draining in general, followed by a summary of the situation, regarding the Czech doctors and medical students. The practical part describes results of my own research and presents fundamental conclusions, concerning current tendencies and motives of undergraduate medical students to leave the country. A principal conclusion, that the survey brings, is a confirmation of given hypothesis, that the current undergraduate medical students want to go abroad mainly due to higher pay packet abroad. This thesis may have other use e.g. in providing preventive measures related to brain drain or analyzing the impact of this phenomenon on the labor market.
Concept of free time in Karel Marx's work

The topic of the thesis is the concept of free time, as presented by Karl Marx in his writings. At certain point in history, this used to be, not only due to political reasons, a very influential concept in Czechoslovakia, where it became the basis for further discussions and reflections. The thesis objective is to provide a comprehensive description of Marx's concept of free time and give an outline of later reflection of his work in Czechoslovak sociology of free time in the 1960s. The thesis focuses on Marx's main contributions to the topic of free time; special emphasis is put on Capital, Marx's major work.
The influence of work and work activities on self concept mentally handicapped person

This thesis deals with the involvement of people with intellectual disabilities in a work activity, whether in employment or occupational therapy and the impact of this activity on their own self mentally handicapped person. The work is focused on the description of the circumstances that accompany the current issues of persons with intellectual disabilities and their integration into society as part of their participation in the labour market. Further, there is also prepared a theme of self-concept and its description in terms of humanistic psychology. The very aim of the research work is to determine what area of life of persons with intellectual disabilities is changed the most after their entry into employment or after the beginning of the execution of vocational rehabilitation. How these changes influence the self-identity of these persons. The research part will bring the survey of the most important areas of self-concept changes that individuals acquired after the entry into employment or occupational therapy.
Title of the Master´s Thesis

The objective of this thesis is focused on the students illustrate the variety of perspectives on future work and family life. Mapping the different attitudes of students on how they feel able and ready to lead a harmonious family and working life .An important part of this thesis is to the author's views on the possible impact of different activities, which students take during their studies and finding connections between them. Based on the findings from the literature collected in the theoretical part and preparation of secondary research on the issue was worded few expectations, among which the author tries to find a connection and possible links. The sample was determined to be men and women in their last year of studies. In the selection of respondents was focus on diversity, especially in terms of family background, free time activities, access to education, or different values.
Values and Satisfaction of Workers

This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the topic of values and job satisfaction. The goal of this thesis is to analyze relations between values and satisfaction of workers, and to determine the generalities concerning this topic. Theoretical part is divided into two sections referring to values and satisfaction. The first section provides definitions of values, possible classifications, historical progress etc. The second one consists of definitions of terms, such as satisfaction, work, and motivation. Then follow the factors affecting job satisfaction. The fields of values, satisfaction and motivation are bound together by Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory. Practical part is composed of secondary analysis of relevant data derived from the two questionnaire surveys: "Work Orientation (ISSP 2005)" and the "European Values Study - ČR 2008". The data are analyzed using the method of grounded theory. In conclusion generalities based on this method are supplied.
Increasing of the minimum wage in the Czech Republic in years 2000 - 2015 and its effect on recipients satisfaction

The Bachelor thesis deals with increasing the minimum wage and its effect on recipient's satisfaction. The minimum wage topic is current again due to the increase in January 1st, 2015 and another increase in the future that the recent government advised. In the theoretical part the function, development and mechanisms creating of minimum wage are described. Also there is an outline about pros and cons of the minimum wage. In the practical part own empirical research is analyzed. This research has revealed that the recent increase of minimum wage effective January 1, 2015 has significantly bigger impact on satisfaction than the previous increases. Possible explanation could be its topicality and higher medialisation.
Harmonization of working and personal life

A goal of this thesis is to find what are the options of alternative working arrangements in the area of Czech Republic and how these options are used and expanded. A harmonization of personal and working time is being more spread topic for increasing number of not only young people. Especially for women-mothers it might be very stressful decision to choose between career and family care. In this thesis which is focused on above mentioned harmonization of personal a working time there will be analyzed kinds of alternative working time, will be given analyze of their poor expansion in Czech Republic by comparing statistical datas with other countries within European Union. The thesis also contains analysis of respondents' answers for questions related to mentioned thesis topic. Finaly there will be given few ideas of possible solution and recommendation for employees, government as well as for business entities.
Harmonization of the personal life and working life

The thesis deals with the combination of the personal life and working life. The target of the thesis is the analysis of necessity to bring in harmony both roles of young people in the age of 20-35 years; the question is if they try to combine the personal life with the professional life and also if they consider the female and male role in present society as equal from the viewpoint of opportunities for the development of work carrier. The analysis of combination of the personal life with working life consists of three stages. The first stage, analysis of conflict of ideas with reality, was elaborated based on the results of investigation having the form of a questionnaire. The output of the second stage, analysis of personal experience of the interrogated persons, are results of individual personal talks deepening the quantitative research which. The last stage is the analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Based on them and based on the theoretical principles acquired from the professional literature, the recommendations were formulated which should result in a more effective harmonization of the personal life and working life.

This diploma thesis deals with the changing status of women in the Czech society in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century, the period is called normalization. My attention is focused on the role of women in the family, in relationships, at work, educational opportunities and possibilities for filling their leisure activities. These issues are specifically examined on the example of contemporary periodicals - Vlasta magazine. After chapters dedicated to women's issues in general, it is followed an analysis of the magazine. Besides archival sources and periodicals they are also used contemporary legal norms or statistical data.
Productivity and its measuring aiming at individual size categories of companies.

The main aim of this thesis was to assess the relation between productivity and size of company in selected sector of national economy construction industry. The sub-objectives were determined as follows: to gather theoretical information on the topic, to analyse the productivity according to the individual size categories of companies in the selected sector, to assess the relation between the size of company and the productivity and to ascertain the level of productivity in the Czech Republic in comparison with the selected sector.
