Památné a senescentní stromy - management péče

This work deals with the issue of care management of heritage and senescent trees. In the theoretical part, the author focuses on the collection, evaluation, and organization of information from relevant literary resources, the results of research carried out by the author in the archives of the National Agricultural Museum in Prague are also presented. Subsequently the work engages in further development of this issue The following part focuses on the application of theories in practice, specifically in field activities carried out by the author. It describes the process of physical findings and evaluation of a collection of heritage and senescent trees issued in the publication ´Care of old trees´ (Ošetření starých stromů) 1953, by Jan Frič. The work also contains a summary of gained information, proposed cultivating technology, and detailed photo-documentation. In the conclusion, the obtained results are divided into logical units in appendices.

Vliv pěstebních opatření na strukturu mladého březového porostu

In this thesis was observed an influence of silvicultural treatment on the structure of young birch stand. On location Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí was chosen a 10 years old birch stand and on location Hlubočec a 15 years old one. The stands originated spontaneously from natural regeneration on clearing. On both locations were researched two stands in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Within the stands, control variants and the thinning ones were established in 2015. In the case of variants focused on a thinning was executed a repeated intervention in 2016 and in the same time a pruning of a part of individuals in the spring of 2017. On all variants all the woody plants were recorded with a height above 2 metres, which were measured a diameter at breast height (cm) during the years 2015–2017. On intervention variants at marked trees (samplers) were measured a total tree height (cm), an occurrence of a dry treetop (cm) and an occurrence of a live treetop (cm) as well. At the beginning and at the end of 2017 was also measured a treetop projection (cm) at all individuals on the area. Non-interventional stands reported a high number of individuals with a low diameter at breast height in both cases, which represented a significantly low resistence of these stands. This led to a reduction in stability, especially against the snow. Despite a major reduction in the number of individuals in the intervention stands, the proportion of trees was still higher compared to the mentioned literature. In response to this intervention was recorded an increased growth or base. The differences here did not manifest themselves as statistically significant during the first year after the intervention. Based on the results, which showed especially significant differences in the density of the cultivated stand with the non-interventional one can be recommended a very powerful intervention towards the release of the stand and the increase of stability.

Význam speciální fytotechniky pro rozvoj mladých porostů dřevin

The discourse of this diploma thesis is about suitable silvicultural and restorative precautions of young tree growth with land conversion. The first part of the thesis describes the up to date knowledge of the respective authors in special phytotechnical intervention cases. A model object was chosen and documented that involves the inventarization of growth , which was used later for evaluation. Silvicultural and restorative precautions are chosen based on the analysis of the current conditions, while intensity and number of recurrences play a significant role in the process. The most influenceable factor for growing young trees is light intensity in growths. Light intensity increases the surface area and volume of additional growth of trees. Item budget was created based on the documented proposal.

Návrh pěstebních opatření v porostech dřevin se zřetelem na jejich mimoprodukční funkce

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of woody vegetation elements in the game preserve in Slavkov u Brna. The field will be divided into two main parts - the forestry (A), the landscaping (B). Various phytotechnical methods for the evaluation of vegetation elements are described in the literature search and subsequently applied to the model object. It deals with growing measures on adults, old and young. Especially in young and old woody plants, it is important to carry out cultivation operations. In old age mainly due to operational reasons, in young people as prevention of possible problems. Appropriate interventions lead to changes in the properties of woody plants and the influence of the surrounding vegetation. When applying measures, the natural habitus of the plant must always be taken into account. Appropriate cultivation interventions ensure the operational safety of the space, the long-term life expectancy of the plant, air flow, increased light access and temperature variations inside the crop.

Lukáš Štefl, Ph.D. In this work were described field documents for the administration of public greenery, outlined the development of methodology and approaches to evaluation of woody vegetation elements and summarized current trends. An overview of the development of the given issue and methodology in the evaluation of woody vegetation elements, dendrological exploration and dendrological potential processing was elaborated. Part of the thesis is a dendrological survey of model territory and evaluation of its dendrological potential. The Dukla Arboretum in Pardubice was chosen as the model area for evaluation. The results of the evaluation showed that it is an object with a high dendrological potential, where the composition is not in danger of breaking. However, regular care is a prerequisite for maintaining the status quo. A plan of growing recommendations for woody vegetation elements was prepared for the object. The proposed planting measures were priced according to the Catalog of Descriptions and Target Prices of Construction Works, HSV 2017 823-1 Areas and Landscaping, ÚRS Praha. Finally, general recommendations and recommendations for building management were formulated.

Péče o silniční stromořadí v okrese Benešov se zaměřením na technologie vázání korun stromů

The alleys had experienced a significant number of changes throughout its history until when they became a typical feature of the Czech landscape. However, the maintenance of these vegetation elements lag nowadays. Therefore, this dissertation thesis titled as Maintenance of Road Alleys in the District of Benešov with a Focus on Binding of Treetops Technology is focused on a survey of the most common troubles and damages of trees. Moreover, it will propose suitable cultivation for stabilization given wood. All potential issues and suggestions will be discussed in order to secure road safety. There is a list of selected road sections that will be assessed: II/114 section H, III/1113 section A, III/1114 section C, III/10614 section B, III/11112 section C, III/11434 section F and the old driveway to the castle Jemniště. The selected trees of these segments are further elaborated in detail in a form of pictorial board with quantified financial costs. The proposed measures can serve like a base for the maintenance of the alleys for an administrator of roads and may be also used in other areas of the district.

Vyhodnocení dendrologického potenciálu a návrh pěstebních opatření v modelovém objektu

The aim of the master thesis is to evaluate woody plant vegetation located in chateau park Valasske Mezirici (the town situated in the Eastern part of the Czech Republic). The thesis is divided into several parts. The first chapter is devoted to methodological approaches for evaluation of woody plants' elements as well as description of approaches for their cultivation. The second chapter presents the model area on which further chosen particular methodological approach is then applied. Based on performed analysis of selected woody plant inventory, dendrological potential of analysed area is provided with presentation of appropriate cultivation approaches suitable for this area together with total calculation of suggested cultivation approaches including prices for particular methodological steps.

Vyhodnocení dendrologického potenciálu a návrh pěstebních opatření v modelovém objektu

In this thesis entitled "Evaluation of dendrological potential and proposal of cultivation measures", there are described methodological procedures for tree species evaluation, cultivation measures proposals, and possible interpretation of found facts. An inventory of species was made at the turn of the year 2015 and 2016. The field research was carried out in the park of the Opava town.In total, 691 trees, 13 bushes, and 38 bushes groups were evaluated.The acquired data were used for the evaluation of the state of the object and for the calculation of proposed cultivation measures. In the end of the thesis, there are described suggestions for improvement of the current state of the object and recommendations for adding missing items to the catalogue of guide prices of URS.
