Liability of the carrier in international carriage of goods

It is expected that the massive expansion of carriage of goods that went on in past couple of decades will soon resume after the worldwide recession. Due to its flexibility, speed, ability to deliver "door to door", low price and other positive qualities the most popular type of carriage is carriage of goods by road, which is also the type of carriage of goods that this thesis is mainly focused on. The goal of the thesis is to describe and explain legal aspects of international carriage of goods by road with a special focus on the liability of the carrier. The most important legal regulation that governs the area of international carriage of goods by road is the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (hereinafter the CMR Convention) that has been signed on May 19, 1956. It is an exceptional piece of legislation, which is in effect for more then fifty years with only two minor changes since its adoption.

Jana Hoferková - Copyright protection on social networks Resume The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the subject of copyright protection on social networks. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the topic discussed. Chapter One is introductory and explains the reasons behind focusing on this issue. Chapter Two provides a brief description of social networks. It consists of two parts, which discuss possible legal threads of social networks. Part One focuses on problem of privacy protection whereas Part Two deals with the issue of data protection on social networks. Chapter Three provides an overview of copyright on social networks. It is subdivided into four parts, each of them dealing with different aspects of copyright in relation to social networks. Part One describes the copyright itself in the Czech legal system. Part Two compares the Czech copyright with the Anglo-American copyright, for its relevance to social networks. Part Three examines the question of the governing law, as the relationship between social network and user includes an international aspect. Responsibility as a Value with Students of Secondary Schools

This bachelor thesis is based on existing studies that should explain a broader context of the value of responsibility of the students of secondary schools. The thesis should also classify these values and their transformation in certain periods of life. The first part of the thesis is aimed at the value of responsibility in connection with several existentionalists, for example Sören Kirkegaard, Gabriel Marcel and Jean-Paul-Sartre. The second part of the thesis is concentrated on psychological aspects of consciousness. It also includes the definitons of basic concepts concerning the value of responsibility. The third part of the thesis deals with the value of responsibility based on the theory of an individual moral development. This theory is also a background of the study of value orientation of young people according to Sak and Saková. Finaly, the value of responsibility is discussed from the sociological interpretation. The purpose of my dissertation is to analyze and further elaborate upon its main topic: the questions that are of a mutual deep interest to both medicine and philosophy. The dissertation has three parts. In the first part, I will introduce some of the key terms that will be used throughout the text. The second part, central to my work, is concerned with three possibilities that are offered to us - play and playing, dream and dreaming, poetic being - all become the places where comprehending, listening (to both the speech and the silence) and responding materialize. Playing, dreaming, poetic being - each offers our daily reality the beauty of transcending its borders without destroying them; in fact, they become a free spirited, passionate interest that enhances and makes valuable the ordinariness and finiteness of our daily lives. Self-care as a Sign of Autonomy in the Health Care Process

Thesis: The main contribution of D. Orem's self-care theory is that, using adequate methods, it leads the nurses to respect patients' own conception of self-care. Key words: Patient - nurse relationships, Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory, D. E. Orem, human actions, respect for autonomy, NANDA taxonomy, non-compliance, responsibility. This dissertation thesis deals with the issues of a relationship between a patient and a healthcare worker, or more precisely a nurse, all from the point of view of patient self-care in the sense of deliberate action that is conducted by the patient for the purpose of sustaining their health and realizing their life plans. Ethical aspects of Orem's Self-Care Deficit Theory consist in the approach to a person that emphasizes the human nature of a human being that develops within the community - among other people, that becomes unique and that cares about their own being. Principles of corporate volunteering in the Czech Republic

The aim of this study is to describe the corporate volunteerism in the Czech Republic and subsequently define a structured set of ethical principles that should be complied by companies to enhance the ethical standards of corporate volunteerism and its positive impact. The theoretical part introduces the civic and corporate volunteerism, pointing out their legal and content differences and also the environmental non-profit organizations and economic subjects companies. Corporate volunteerism (CV) is defined as a part of the donation, which is a social component of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This study describes CSR as a tool of business ethics and assesses its impact on corporate culture and social work environment in favour of solidarity projects as CV. Based on the experience and study of scientific texts, four models reflecting the company's ethical maturity phase are defined in the practical part of the study. Their names are derived from the context and causes of the launch of CV - models naturally moral, promotional, human resources and employee model. The analysis of models aimed at meeting the objectives of the work, compiling seven ethical principles for CV - principles of real potential, plan and impact, quantity and quality of the target, the benefits of a coordinator´s position, equal access, freedom to make decisions and the principle of truthful communication. The principles are not procedures, however, the principles ask questions and concentrate ethical basis for project of CV. This text is accompanied by an evaluation comment using practical examples (from the institutional, social and individual ethical perspective).
Delegation and its implementation in practice

This thesis deals with process of delegation and its implementation in practice. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an own work. Theoretical part applies on general concepts of management in the introductory part. Main theoretical part is focused on issues of delegation, its object, elements and goals. Next there are introduced advantages and disadvantages, barriers, which block managers process of delegation. The analysis of work is written in details, that means what is possible or cant be delegate, planning of delegation, which includes goals of planning, terms, decisions, extent of authority or inspection. There are not forgotten chapters focused on a choice of appropriate workmate and a process how to delegate correctly. The practical part is primarily based on a survey in which statements are followed from literature research. Answers of interviewed managers are presented and then illustrated with graphs, where are also added information from unstructured interviews. It is also used a method of structured interview with managers for more details. In conclusion, this own study evaluated the results of the survey and based on these measures is proposed, which should ensure more efficient use of managerial skills in the surveyed company.
