Nature protection analysis in the Czech Republic by GIS

This thesis deals with geographical information systems, that are trying to in-depthly talk over and explain all of the requirements. It focuses on data models, particular programs or on required hardware that is needed to make it happen. Further is it dealing with landscape protection. It deeply looks for example at landscape character, czech legislation of landscape protection and few chosen projects such as cenia or inspire outside of regular description. And it finally decsribes web mapping applications in Czech republic. Examples of them are possibly MapoMat, server of KRNAP and Klíšťata.

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of protection of nature and landscape in the Czech Republic and the world. It mentions the state of nature and landscape in the Czech Republic and describes the development history of the protection of nature and it analyzes fundamental principles of nature and landscape in the Czech Republic and compares it with other countries. It also describes the legislative instruments of the Czech Republic in the protection of nature and landscape. The bachelor thesis describes some of the international agreements on the environment.

The issue of developing and implementing of management plan for small-scale protected area

The Bachelor thesis dealt with the issue of a creation and implementation of a plan for care of selected small-scale protecte area. The aim of the study was to evaluate the current plan for natural monument Toužínské slopes near Dačice and to propose any other solution on the protection of this area. The beginning of the study os focused of general probléme of creating care plans, including measures for protection of small protecte areas. There was also an introduction to Toužínské slope and evaluation of existing plans for care. A new solution for the side was evaluated and proposed taking into consideration these plans and the current situation. I have concluded that it is appropriate to cintinue with the existing plan of care with extending the boundaries of natural monument.

Anti-dustiness measures and their effect on biodiversity of fly ash deposits
ČERNÁ, Ilona
The thesis presents comparison anti-dustiness measures done on fly-ash deposits for several invertebrate groups colonising those deposits. To prevent dustiness, fly-ash is covered by a soil layer. The thesis compares number and abundance of species of any category of Czech Red List of Endangered Species, and species specialized on sandy biotopes on bare fly-ash, fly-ash patrially covered by a soil layer and fly-ash covered by soil layer completely. The consequence of results is that at least small patches of bare soil are crucial for rare species.
