Smrž, Jan ; Sedlák, Michal (advisor) ; Hůla, Zdenek (referee)
Master thesis Object in the landscape is concerned with the landscape, people's environment, architecture and art. It deals with bases of contemporary urbanized landscape, relationship between man and nature, effect of architecture and art in the wider contexts. It also explores transformation of the entities of the landscape at the time of digital technology. In theoretical, practical and educational level, I deal with relationships among architecture, art, landscape and man in a wider context. In the theoretical part, I examined the spatial relationships in landscape and their transformations. I reflected local environment in practical work and I focused on transferring the issue to stimulating teaching jobs in educational work. In my opinion, the most valuable part is art work, where I managed to meet my expectations and goals.

Statue, location, relation - Bohemia in 80's of the 20th century
Péčová, Kristýna ; Klimešová, Marie (advisor) ; Prahl, Roman (referee)
As a subject to my bachelor's thesis I chose the sculptures and installations made by Czech artists during the period of 1980s, which were created with the aim of exterior placement, out of the traditional exhibition spaces represented by museums and galleries. The keynote of my work will be the relation and interactions between a piece of art and its surroundings as well as the concept of space itself and its overlooked qualities that art may help to reveal. I decided to focus on the exhibition known as Malostranské dvorky, which took place in Prague in 1981. The idea that has led to the organization of the exhibition and its specific circumstances will be my main interest alongside the description of the particular works of art displayed and their destiny during and after the official end of the exhibition. Furthermore, I will compare the exhibition held in the intimate and unique atmosphere of the old Prague quarter with art that was produced in the same period of time within the official state commissions for newly constructed housing estates and public buildings, such as department stores, hospitals and more. Last but not least, both phenomenons of Czech outdoor sculpture will be compared in more global context with site-specific artworks. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Dadaistic and constructivistic object and its inheritors
Bouchalová, Barbora ; Bláha, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Daniel, Ladislav (referee)
Submitted graduation theses has charakter as a theoretical study, which offers different views of questions of sameness and differences in dadaistic and constructivistic objects and in objects of its inheritors. I have made criterions to observe relation between these objects, criterions are: principle of creation, relation between content, form and matherial. We observe also using movement in object art. We show, that object-art have disturbed the then tradition of plastic art. New approach of matherial, decleration common thing as a part of art open up a lot of questions about function of art. The main aim of these theoretical study was to find out samenesses anddifferences in these objels, show a process of object art.We came to the conslusion that between dadaistic and constructivistic objels are some samenesses (for example discruption of visual art, realiton between system and chance, using movement). Didactical, didactical-visual and visual parts are fasten together with theoretical part. These parts watch on object art in two viewpoint: utilization of common thing as a dadaistic principle, relation between matherial and form as a constructivistic principle
Conception of an Object as a Complex of Perceptions in David Hume's Philosophy
Fršlínek, Jan ; Hill, James (advisor) ; Palkoska, Jan (referee)
An Abstract of A Treatise of Human Nature a dalším titulům primární a sekundární literatury. (a to na základě čtvrté kapitoly Of scepticism with regard to senses). Na konci práce jsou kontrastovány různé možné typy objektů, jež lze (dle autora této práce) chápat jako komplexy percepcí a poté je nabídnuto schéma hypotézy o individuaci tzv. materiálních těles (bodies) v prostoru.
