Impacts of air traffic at the airport of Vaclav Havel to the surrounding municipalities
Fuková, Jana ; Čermák, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kolařík, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on impacts of Vaclav Havel Airport on the surrounding municipalities. It is a very up-to-date topic, because air transport is used by more and more people. That increases the burden on the areas adjacent to the airport. The theoretical part of this thesis starts with short introduction of NIMBY, it provides the most important informations about Vaclav Havel Airport and summarizes negative impacts on the surroundings. It also gives informations about future expansion of the airport in form of parallel runway and public attitude to this planned construction. Subsequently the cooperation of the airport with the surrounding municipalities and parts of Prague is described. The practical part was processed on the basis of data from the questionaire survey. The aim was to get opinions from residents around the airport, what they consider as advantages and disadvantages of living in this area, whether they are informed about the airport cooperation with the place where they live and finally their attitude to the airport expansion with the new runway. Key words: air transport, negative impacts, noise, municipality, parallel runway
Determination of transmission error at bevel gear
Fraňová, Zuzana ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the determination of the transmission error in spiral bevel gears and its minimization using tooth profile modification in order to reduce vibrations and noise of transmission systems. Gears are the primary source of vibrations transmitted through the shaft and bearings to the gearbox housing and adjacent surfaces that emit noise into the surrounding space. In order to increase the level of comfort and due to the legislative requirements, increasing emphasis is being placed on reducing the noise and vibrations of machine components, including transmission systems. This leads to the need to identify noise sources and evaluate them in terms of expected acoustic performance. The quality of the gear meshing can be judged by transmission error that is closely related to the noise and vibrations. To evaluate the quality of gears based on transmission error, experimental measurements are used that are costly and require quality equipment. Therefore, it is efficient to determine the expected transmission error already at the design stage using numerical methods. In this work a parametric model of bevel gear geometry and a numerical model for the simulation of gear meshing using FEM software Ansys Mechanical are created in order to determine the transmission error. Based on the transmission error, various load cases and gear modifications designed for transmission error reduction are compared.
Acoustic emissions of buildings
Smažinka, Josef ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with acoustics with the main focus on acoustic emissions of buildings. The first part of the thesis aims to familiarize the reader with the field of acoustics as a whole. They will learn the basic concepts, quantities and relations that exist in acoustics. In the second part I focus specifically on the sources of noise in buildings and their surroundings, how can excessive noise affect health, what standards must be met and how to prevent excessive noise. The last part is devoted to practical measurements in the field, which is focused on real sources of noise in the city of Brno. The aim of this measurement is to compare the noise generated by buildings with other noises in the urban environment.
Design and optimization of special low-level amplifier for measurement of air ions
Zdražil, Lukáš ; Bartušek, Karel (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with low-current measurement in order of picoamps up to a few tens of femtoamps. Such low currents measuring is necessary for determination of air ions concentration. Disturbances, which are otherwise negligible for ordinary measurements must be considered. For example, leakage currents and noise generated in measuring device circuit. The choice of a precise operation amplifier with low input bias current is as important as the selection of low noise passive components. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a precise low-level amplifier for the purposes of air ions concentration measurements.
Time lapse travel
Sodomková, Natálie ; Smetana, Matěj (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
Project "Time lapse travel" is simple 2D adventure game, placed in real environment of Vodarensky les near Svitavy. Content is about fairy tales, folklore, time, magic realism and my own personal mythology. My goal is to create a specific atmosphere with stylization of the theme and distinctive visual art style. Whole project is a connection of experiments and digital games together to ask the question if its posssible for the interaction to provide a subjective atmosphere.
Possibilities of Determining NVH Parameters of the Seat Track Release Mechanism in a Passenger Car
Ondriska, Viktor ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the noise produced by a seat track release mechanism used in road vehicles. The goal of this work is exploring the possibilities of determining the radiated sound through experimental and computational means. The introduction is dedicated to different seat track designs. In the next chapter is a summary of computational means used to determine vibrations and noise. Further on, measurement methods of NVH parameters are described. Near the conclusion of the thesis there’s a breakdown of a newly developed seat track mechanism and the results of measurements that were carried out.
Sensor Security - Verification of Image Authenticity
Juráček, Ivo ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis is about image sensor security. Goal of the thesis was study data integrity gained from the image sensors. Proposed method is about source camera identification from noise characteristics in image sensors. Research was about influence of denoising algorithms applied to digital images, which was acquired from 15 different image sensors. Finally the statistical evaluation had been done from computed results.
Precision audio preamplifier for headset measurement
Šimek, Michal ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with microphone and headphone preamplifier for microtelephone and headset. The design shall meet the electrical interface requirements set out in ITU-T Rec. P.381(08/2012). The design includes a voltage converter, microtelephone bias and both a battery and an external power supply. In this work is also described the design of printed circuit board and the solution of a low noise in the whole circuit. The aim of this thesis is to design, built and embed the laboratory fixture into a metal box. Finally, measure the product on an APx525 audio precision analyzer.
Design of modern speaker body with usage of new technology
Kůst, Martin ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis and design optimization of a speaker cabinet (enclosure) produced by the additive technology of 3D sand printing. The introductory part is devoted to the theory, both in the field of noise, vibration and the method of their calculations, as well as the theory of speakers and their systems. Numerical and experimental modal analysis is performed, which were compared to determine the mechanical properties of the new material, including material damping. This is followed by experimental and numerical harmonic analysis, with output in the form of a numerical model describing the behaviour of the structure during its excitation. The data are compared with a modal analysis of the internal acoustic space and the critical shapes and their frequencies are determined. At the end of the work, construction modifications are proposed to increase the rigidity of enclosures, the influence of which is evaluated on the created numerical models.
