Drive assistant
Trýska, Tomáš ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The drive assistant is a device designed for application in sportscars not provided with a sufficient amount of gauges showing the state of engine and drivetrain. These gauges usually show pressures, temperatures, voltage, and other quantities. The values are shown on a graphic display as two analog indicators. The states are selected using a touch panel. The device is equipped with four ultrasonic detectors, which are used for parking assist and warning against collision with a vehicle in blind angle.
Simulation of electric machines
Klíma, Jiří ; Mišinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling and simulations of DC and AC machines. They were created by four mathematical models. Three models of DC motors with different type of excitation (compound, serial, derivative) and one model for asynchronous motor. All models were implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. After measuring and setting the basic parameters of the machines, simulations were running. Simulation results are then compared with measured waveforms.
IR thermometer
Šolc, Radek ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of temperature measuring with the use of contactless thermometer. The thesis examines the physical findings, detectors, methods for contactless temperature measurement. Practical part consists of system design. Suitable detector, signal processing system and evaluation of temperature were chosen. According to the system design were created circuit design solution and printed circuits boards’ design of IR thermometer.
Heart rate measurement
Jiřík, Ondřej ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement of heart rate parameters. One of the objectives of this work is a summary of methods for measuring heart rate, from which data can be derived heart rate and subsequently evaluated. Also deals with the accuracy of this parameter. It describes the basic characteristics of sensors and applicable in terms of sensitivity to movement. In the work is drawn design of a simple heart rate monitor with a range of 40-200 beats per minute. For the whole device is carried out by the proposal of the printed circuit board in EAGLE program.
Analog display with microcontroller
Fiala, Michal ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with subject of voltage measurement. In this project are briefly described basic types of measurement instruments and their principles. In the part dedicated to digital meters are described principles and function of A/D converters. Then are described parameters of components used in design of desired measurement instrument and their connection to electric circuit. Last part is dedicated to software of the instrument, control of its parts and processing of measured data.
Optimalization Power Parameter of Small Induction Motors
Measurement of Bearings Power Losses
Musil, Roman ; Raffai, Peter (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The intention of this bachelor's thesis is to handle an information about the measurement of losses in radial slide bearings and rolling bearings. In a first section, there is described friction in bearings. The next section is about the comparing machines with static and dynamic conditions. Third section describe methods and means of experimental measurement of losses in bearings under different operating conditions. In fourth section, there is introduced the numerical model for friction losses. In the last section, there is summary of machines and there is depicted possible future development too.
Low-level magnetic measurements ULF frequency 0-30 Hz
Štefánek, Martin ; Král, Bohumil (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
The work assesses progress in the design of measuring workplace for measuring low level magnetic fields of low frequencies. The thesis describes the basic method of spreading of electromagnetic waves in free losslees ambience. Further is described effect with low level of ultra-low-frequency magnetic fields in the frequency band from 0.01 to 30 Hz for an individual or group of people and also the draft measuring methods for indicating or measuring changes in magnetic fields. Thesis deals with individual blocks of measuring workstation.
Determination of thermal properties of gloves by means of thermal manikin
Pidrová, Kateřina ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on determination of thermal properties of gloves by means of thermal manikin. The background research with relation to this topic together with derivation of the computational equations used for the following measurement are presented in the first part. The most significant part of this work is suggestion of procedure for measuring the heat resistance of gloves with thermal manikin based on procedure from ČSN EN 511. This methodics was verificated with 5 pairs of gloves together with analysing the uncertainties and testing the repeatability of this measurement. This work also contains the outline for all of the measured pairs with posibilities of their usage in specific situations and surrounding air temperatures. At the end of this work is mentioned brief summary of achieved results.
Optimization of measurement and measuring methods for a selected component
Zapletalík, Jiří ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on the analysis of statistical process control and measurement methods, used in the company stoba Precizní Technika s.r.o. On the basis of this analysis there will be proposed changes that should contribute to improving the production process. By using statistical methods for monitoring of process can identify specific causes operating on the process and thereby achieve an improvement in quality of process.
