Relativity of Grading at Primary School
Švarcová, Kateřina ; Voda, Jan (advisor) ; Uhlířová, Jana (referee)
The thesis is concerned with the relativity of marking at primary school, aimed to subjectivity in evaluation when rating the pupils' work in the Czech language. The theory is focused on evaluation generally - its functions, types, forms. In the theoretical part there is mentioned, what types of assessment are believed to be the first- quality ones. Two chapters are devoted to objectiveness and fairness in the evaluating, too. This thesis contains several paragraphs about the embedment of evaluation in the law. The target of the research was to find out, if the teachers interpret the pupil's performance differently and what criteria are taken into consideration. I want to alert to the huge amount of subjectivity when rating with marks. The teachers were given the same simulated piece of a pupil's work. Their task was to correct it and to mention what was an influence on their evaluation, the given mark. The half-structured dialogue was the chosen method for the research. The thesis confirmed the hypothesis that the evaluation through the marks is burdened with a high measure of subjectivity. That is to say, that the teachers marked the work very differently and their evaluation was grounded on various criteria. KEYWORDS evaluation, marking, subjectivity, teachers, criteria, difficulty

Musilová, Miroslava ; Kasíková, Hana (advisor) ; Valenta, Josef (referee)
This paper titled "Evaluation of the lower secondary education students and its influence on learning motivation" is focused on the most frequently used methods of evaluation at today's schools. It considers not only evaluation methods complying with students but also relation between evaluation and learning motivation. It includes an analysis of current situation of students' self-evaluation. The whole paper is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part portrays the core essence and the importance of the evaluation, its principles and qualities. It identifies function and techniques of the evaluation from the school legislation point of view and at the same time it illustrates the current tendencies in its development. It maps some types, forms and evaluation function. It explains in more details motivational function of evaluation as well as self-evaluation. The empirical part deals with a detailed research which is dedicated to exploration of the most frequently used pedagogical evaluation methods at the chosen schools. Simultaneously, it investigates which evaluation methods are preferred by students themselves and whether evaluation somehow impacts their motivation level...
Toxic effect of fluorescence pigment on zebra fish (Danio rerio)
Poštulková, E. ; Mareš, J. ; Halačka, Karel ; Kopp, R.
The aim of the study was to determine the toxic effects of organic pigments Alizarin Red S and Alizarin Complexone on zebra fish (Danio rerio). For short-term acute toxicity tests on zebra fish concentration of 150; 300 and 600 mg/L were chosen for both dyes. Toxic effect of dyes was observed even in the variant with 10 g/L of sodium chloride. Addition of sodium chloride increases the deposition of dyes in the bone structures of the fish. LC50 values were analyzed graphically by using probit analysis. There was no mortality during the acute toxicity test with Alizarin Red S even at the highest concentration. Toxicity value (72hLC50) for zebra fish with a combination of Alizarin Red S + 10 g/L of sodium chloride is 546.42 mg/L. Mortality for Alizarin Complexone was 100% in 24 hours at\nconcentrations of 300 and 600 mg/L, with concentrations of 150 mg/L there was no mortality. In Alizarin Complexone supplemented with 10 g/L of sodium chloride was 100% mortality at all\nconcentrations up to 72 hours.
