Living with nature

The thesis deals with human’s relationships to the nature and vice versa and with architectural interventions’ influence on these relations. The intention of the whole work is to re-value consuming landscape use and human’s attitude to the landscape thanks to smaller objects that do not destroy, do not restrict and do not deform its surrounding but on the contrary they elevate genius loci, that they are affable seeing and affable to the nature environment and mainly strengthen relations between surrounding and their users. The work subjects and issues on my own experiences experienced in the countryside. That is why I consider necessary to point out to the beauty and uniqueness of mountain environment’s discomfort, that beside leads to strengthen our mental and physical health.

Architecture in Landscape – Winery

Urbanist concept in the cadastral area of Strachotín village is based on spiral inspirations. The village is located on the banks of Novomlýnské nádrže and offers a wonderful view of Pálava. Therefore, for me, the most powerful motif has become the nature, which is cyclical, but does not repulse. The spiral has been applied to the driveway to a selected location offering the best view and communicating with the village. The function of the winery was supplemented by a small recreational riding complex. The functional solution offers the possibility of visiting, family recreation or organizing corporate events and presentations. When embedding functions, it was considered the most convenient mode of transport that would capture that function. This was further refined by the creation of public spaces that link to the various sites and the whole area. The actual mass solution of objects is inspired by Pálava itself, which is hard but delicate. For my most important objects, it "crystallized" and encouraged them to cover the greenery with the least important visitor.

In the Forrest

My work began with taking photos in the forest at night; this work was very important to me because of the mysterious feeling. My paintings are stylized more than realistic. I'm captivated by untidy nature, with fallen trees and decaying stumps. Oil is my medium- some places are detailed while others are expressive.

Gallery aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Medlánky in Brno

The theme of Master thesis is a Gallery of aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Gallery aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Medlánky in Brno. The project insludes overall operation of the sports airport, then deal in detail operations of the museum and related services within the airport. The new campus will humbly entered in the countryside, in an attractive location Medláneckých hills creates another attractive feature and despite the complex operation and movement techniques does not create a barrier to the contrary territory it unites and is a natural center. Airports Medlanky was founded already in the twenties of the last century, and since then the area is relatively non-conceptually grew by more hangars and various outbuildings. Of these, only two were preserved original wooden sheds, which adds yet another new administrative and ceremonial buildings. Operational buildings set limits on technology, the new representative building it closes, and defining a space for people, nature trail connects the area, offers wonderful views and creates a public space that makes passers airport. The whole area is oriented to the back area and opens onto the landscape, wide area thus presents an iconic silhouette reperzentační building. The curve of the building provides space aircraft-makers to fly and allows collision-free movement of people and equipment around the airport and also generates a dignified space for aircraft to fly longer will. Exposure air museum at the second floor of the building and the visitor thus rises to individual gliders that levitate in space, the sun's rays make their reflections on the polished bonnets and backgrounds are vivid airports and skies. The museum offers a walk through the history of aviation in a different context than conventional hangars. The study reconstruction of the Těšík pond in the cadastral Horní Bory

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of reconstuction of the pond Těšík at the level of study. The introductory part of the thesis defines the terminology and the partition of small water reservoirs. The next practical part is focused to the locality of interest and its current state leading to the necessary reconstruction. This part is followed by the design of a technical solution for reconstruction based on hydrotechnical calculations and the graphics part.

The diploma thesis formally consists of a mosaic of outputs across the media. It contains a set of videos, a set of embroidered pieces of clothing and a set of hand-drawn, subjective maps, all supplemented and accompanied by drawings, watercolors, texts, objects and audio. Thematically, the work has two layers. First, it deals with the reflection of (my) selected hobbies that relate to specific ideas about nature and landscape. These hobbies are divided into three thematic areas named Emo Maps, The Cowboy Spectrum, and Bio Tops. In the second layer, the work is a critical reflection on the use of hobby strategies in art work, as one of the last available ways to create in times of permanent crises.

In her work, the student focuses on the objectification of personal perception of a specific conflict situation. She identifies a hurtful feeling that has stuck in her memory and constantly raises questions. With ignorance or unconsciousness of where the edge is and where it is beyond the edge. Describes and seeks mantineles of self-insight capacity. Where does the ability to control begin and end? The author tries to empathize with people who cross her imaginary edges in what is right, and asks herself if they cross their own? The performative placement of tempered glass in the crown of a tree serves for a materialistic grasp of the limits: "what can be carried", "where is the edge", "what is capacity."

Leisure Time Centre Brno

The theme of my bachelor’s thesis is to design a new leisure time centre building in Brno Novy Liskovec. The area is a defined space by street Plachty. The building site is situated in the northern part of the area, surrounded by blocks of flats. The principle of the draft is based on integration of the building into the park in the context of the surrounding buildings. The object corresponds with blocks of flats in its shape and material, it adapts to the surrounding terrain by incorporation into the slope. Typical of the whole building are concrete, cube, simplicity – they can be seen at first floor outside, contrary to the ground floor - it builds into the surrounding terrain by a material of wood. The leisure time centre building is functionally divided into parts: a multifunctional hall, rooms for leisure and café. All these operations are closely related and complement each other. Green roof of the building is designed for people, equipped with benches. Together with the adjustment of the surrounding park it contributes to the creation of public space on the estate.

Making the Land Cultural

Cultural Landscape Drinkers for cattle For my bachelor thesis I chose the topic which is dealing with the landscape and man's relationship to it. The selected area is unused rural landscape with almost no use at this moment. The project, among other things deals with the design of site-specific objects, sometimes land art installation. Javorníky valley, between the villages Bohuslavice u Zlína and Salaš, was consisted of a small fields. In 70s they built a fence around the valley with a drinkers inside and they began graze a cattle. Field were changed into pasture for several years . But already in the 80s was pasture canceled and cultural quality of the valley began to deteriorate. Present day, the area is primarily for hunting, cultivated by local Hunting Association. The result looks that the valley is overgrown, most of the meadows are not to mowed and the forest is expanding. The journey disappears. No one other is interested in the local landscape, and is here just a fewwho are attend it. My project uses construction of drinkers which are deployed in the valley. A concrete blocks with metal structures can serve as a basis for sculptural and architectural objects. Places in the landscape that have lost their meaning can be reused. And hopefully it will help to attract the people back into the landscape.

Restoration of ponds in Moravia

This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the history of pond building from the begining of first settlement on the territory to the current state. In the first part is the work focused on the history of pond building generally and with available resources on the specific situation in Moravia. The second part addresses the modern pond building and fish farming in 19th and 20th century. The next section is devoted to the current state of building of the ponds and possibilities of renewal of lost ponds. In the last section is solved posibility of recovery specific area in the range of theoretical studies.
