Microphone Array for Estimation of Direction of Arrival of Sound
Kubišta, Ladislav ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's work describe detection of direction receiving sound by analizing of the sound. Work is based on methods of time delay estimation. Programmed algorithm of estimation direction works on cross–correlation and some selected cross–correlation methods. Results of measuring, as programming sound, so sound recorded in laboratory conditions and real enviroment, are mentioned in conclusion. All calculations were done by platform Matlab
Person Identification Based on Locomotion
Pražák, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper deals with study of human movement and using that in identification. In the first part of my work are explained characteristics of human movement and factors which take effect on these characteristics. Practical part is dealing with design of program which is solving mentioned problems. The input of program is created by video sequence with lateral movement of human. The program is finding coordinates of lower limbs joints. From this coordinates are created locomotion characteristics used for human identification. Matching of time behaviors is based on correlation.
Portfolio Diversification through Investment in Stock Indices
Křižka, Adam ; Ryndová, Jitka (referee) ; Rejnuš, Oldřich (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the design of suitable stock exchange indices for portfolio diversification. The essence and principle of functioning of financial markets and investment funds is presented. According to suitable indicators, stock exchange indices are analyzed and compared with the market. Suitable indices are verified by means of correlation analysis and subsequently recommended to diversify the portfolios of investment funds managed through the investment company.
Dependence Measures
Janda, Radek ; Fusek, Michal (referee) ; Michálek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on characteristics of the dependence measures among random quantities, as well as its use in industry. The theoretical part focuses on examples of the characteristics used. Furthermore, the software Statistica is described here, for its possibilities of implementing such characteristics. On simple examples, the use of dependence measures is shown. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on statistical analysis of real industrial data, whilst implementing the theory mentioned above.
Design concept of the facility part for the educational objectives of the boiling crisis
Suk, Ladislav ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Martinec, Jiří (advisor)
Graduation these deals with investigation of critical heat flux in pressurized water nuclear reactors. Theoretical part covers fundamental terms from area hydrodynamics of two-phase flow and critical heat flux. Here are also mentioned the individual approaches to description of physical process of heat transfer crisis. Practical part is devoted to systems design of measuring stand for critical heat flux in vertical canal allowing visualization of two-phase flow.
Comparation of the Methods Generation of Tie Points in Aerotriangulation
Hromková, Zuzana ; Kalvoda, Petr (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
The subjekt of this bachelor´s thesis is to compare the methods of generation of tie points in aerotriangulation using the program Photomod 4.3 made by Russian company Racurs. Part of this thesis is a detailed of description of the project initialization, subsequent implementation of aerotriangulation and bundle block adjustment in Photomod on those images. The result is a comparison of elements of exterior orientation. and coordinate determined points processed in tables and graphs.
Bankruptcy Prediction Modelling in the Agriculture Business
Pokorný, Petr ; Peter,, Markovič, (referee) ; Karas, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on problematic within the prediction of bankruptcy of companies operating in the field of agriculture in Czech republic. First part consists of introduction to companies that do business in field of agriculture and it describes bankruptcy models that are used in academicals sphere. Other part of thesis is divided into two sub-parts. First part is dedicated to an application of data into models of bankruptcy and their evaluation. Second part is focused on improvement of the best model and its main goal is to maximize the precision of the bankruptcy.
Analysis of Transactions in a Real Estate Market Segment - Microlocation of Brno
Talaš, Libor ; Fráňa, Tomáš (referee) ; Cupal, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of real estate transactions in a selected micro-region. The selected region is the territory of the Brno - Komín district. There is made abasic analysis of the real estate structure in the district. Subsequently, realised sales transactions of flats in the period from 2014 to 2021 are set in the defined environment. Subsequently, the price and numbers within the subsets of the base set are examined and an analysis of the interdependence with the asking prices is performed. In the final part of the thesis, several hypotheses are tested and the dependence of realized prices on credit and stock market data series is examined.
Biometric fingerprint identification
Dašek, Filip ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
In biometrics we use distinctive physical features for identification and verification of identity. The most famous technique is identification by fingerprints. This technique use unique structure created by papillary lines for unambiguous identification. Thesis contains methods which were created throughout the years for analysis and adjustments of fingerprint. The algorithm is based on compairng two pairs of minitua and calculating transform matrix for correct alignment. Algorithm is tested on dataset created from LivDet databases. Performance of algorithm is represented by value EER which is compared with EERs of other algorithms tested in FVC 2006.
Face Detection and Recognition
Ponzer, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper discusses problems of computer vision, which deals with face detection and recognition in image and video sequence at real time. All methods are designed for color images and are based on skin detection on the basis of information of human skin color. For skin detection is used very effective method Gaussian distribution. All of the areas, which have human skin color, are classified. This classification specifies, which area is or isn’t face. For face detection is used correlation method, complete with eigenfaces method. All areas classified as a face are subsequently recognized by the eigenfaces method. Result of recognition phase is information about human identity.
